Was doing my last delivery a few doors away when the smell from the chippy made me feel hungry. Best fritters i've tasted in donkeys years! The only reason i didn't give 5 stars is cos £2.90 (i feel) is a bit much for what amounted to about 1 large potato.

Visited Quincy’s on a rare trip into the town centre (rare since it’s decimated) stopped off at Quincy’s for a burger and chips on the way home and it didn’t disappoint. Chips where perfect and the burger itself was unreal cheeseburger with relish 👌 hasn’t changed in almost 30 years and that’s definitely a good thing. Never change it it’s unreal as it is.

It's just soo grubby and dingy looking that you are not inspired to go in. The seating area at the back is dark and uninviting, and the 2 guys at the counter are more threatening than welcoming. There is a far superior place to go for lunch about 50 yards to the left.

Boak, terrible chip shop overpriced for the portion size , had to give it one star as the lady was nice and polite but my god you feel as if you need a wash when you leave.

Passed Quincy's recently and remembered i used to love their fried chicken, so i got some to take away. Still fantastic. Far better than the Colonel.

Charged extra for sitting in, sure it's a common practice just never seen it soo obvious before. Food is good but seating area badly needs upgrading

Love this handy wee chippy! Food is always amazing and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. You can choose to sit in or carry out to eat your delicious food! Prices are very reasonable with offers on all the time!! My daughter loves the milkshakes! Also sell their own recipe Southern Fried Chicken and old fashioned Snax!! Where to start with this chippy, my god place is filthy and the boy cooking the chips was like a coalman Would advise to stay clear and when we left you felt as if you needed a shower, didn't buy anything just couldnt

Used to get large portions for a small price but now get small portions for a large price, food is still really good though so can't fault them, best thing is the thick milk shakes as no where else does them similar

The food is good, basic, tasty and not over-priced; family feel to the quiet small shop. They do what they do well, and are able to respond to larger orders promptly, as well as having special rates/portions for pensioners.

The food was terrible and I am not 100% sure but I think the they charged me more because they knew I was a tourist.

Have popped into this chip shop on a few occasions Margaret who usually serves is always friendly and willing to have a chat if she is not busy serving other customers. The place is always clean and tidy as well and food is always fresh. Would highly recommend it

Been getting takeaways for here for over 30 years be it me and my girlfriend or me and family. The staff are great, you can have a laugh with them too. The food is delicious and presented well (until you open it up to eat it of course) but still up to above standard.

Last night we had fish suppers , battered sausages and a scampie supper all lovely and hot and freshly cooked. All enjoyed our takeaway and will go back there again.

i went in there just recently and I asked for a roll and sausage and a cup of tea . well the roll was stale and a bit hard the sausage wasn't fresh either as for the tea ,,,,,I wont be going back there again .I actually wrapped half the rolll in my napkin and put it in the bin outside

This place is just greasy and i would not advise it as they leave there chips out side all day and night in a big see through container which the segals get a peck at its at the back of there shop which homless people stay in

Day 1 had a sausage supper, greasy chips and sausage with soggy batter. Day 2 steaj pie supper, chips where actually descent but the steak pie was so soggy I couldnt pick ot up. Day 3, does not and wont exist for this place

I remember going to quincys from the age of about 11, I used to love the cheeseburgers with relish but its not that great place anymore. The rolls for a chip roll/burger are always hard and FAR too big for the tiny burger they charge about £2 for. The chips are overdone and greasy, the sausages lie for ages (I assume because they arent that busy) so when you do get a sausage supper the batter is rock solid. I actually feel a sense of guilt writing this review because for years this place has been my haunt, even as a student I would come here sometimes 3 times a week but its just gone so downhill. My advice to quincys would be -Make a supper fresh to order, people wont mind waiting an extra 5 minutes on a hamburger/fish/pizza frying if they know its going to be fresh and cooked properly.Lower your prices !! Quincys is probably the most expensive chip shop I have used, they are very miserable with the gravy therefore you have to pay for 2 scoops to taste it (not even kidding) and for 2 scoops of gravy its 80 pence (or was last time I went, may have gone up) so say you got 3 suppers with gravy, who in theyre right mind is okay with paying £2.40 just for gravy alone !TIE ALL HAIRS AWAY FROM FACE ! Last time I came I got a pickled onion with my supper and opened it to find a long black hair wrapped around the onion, how did the waitress not see this when she closed the box ?Finally, the older woman who has worked there for years ... last time I sat in I saw the knife she gave me was dirty, she also noticed it and instead of changing knifes she just turned it round so it was the clean side facing up, there really is no excuse for that.Overall, sadly I wont be visiting anytime soon but hope they make some serious changes to get this place back where it should be.

the food is edible but the chips are over cooked and greesey an the gravy is lumpy its ok if ur drunk but never go here when sober over priced and disgusting

There is always a warm welcome and great food when you go here. Additionally you can pay a bit extra and sit in. Really nice place.
