An excellent fish n chip shop. Best one In the area by a mile. I live 5 mile from it but would not go anywhere else.

Don't understand why a chip shop does phone orders but when you get there you have to wait in a que 20 deep what's the point??.. Total waste of time.. Your chippy is good but not worth that hassle..

best chippy in the port plenty of parking across the street and outside prices are ood as well,good choices too

Easy the best in Inverclyde definitely the best fish and chips ever . But I so with they would do fritters. Or snacks as the locals call them . But best in Inverclyde.

Went in here last night for dinner to save me having to cook. The staff where lovely. Used to go in here all the time and it was always great. Yesterday was first time for a while got a fish supper and a sausage supper. The sausage supper was fine no complaints but parts of the fish where so hard they couldn't be eaten.

Very clean shop, friendly staff , prices good, fish and chips excellent , highly recommend , have visited regularly .

This has been my favourite local chippy since I was little. The staff have always been great - always welcoming, giving you a bit of cheek etc and are good fun. The food has always been of an excellent standard, and don't get me started on the gravy ❤

Got a lovely single fish for me and my mum who has been unwell and not eating but she managed to eat some of her fish and enjoyed it brill

The fish and chips are always good and portions are large. My grandson loved his chips with gravy, and my husband really enjoyed his haggis and chips. A real treat.

its a well known chippie in the town.always very busy.excellent choice of food and great service. all i can say is please go along and try it for yourself.

getting too pricy £7.50 for a fish supper not good when you are a person on low income, food was lovely but will not be using this very often due to price which is a shame

Best fish and chips in town great get them all the time staff are very friendly and great it shows how good it is that every time you go there it is packed

If you happen to visit Inverclyde don’t leave without popping into Louis Fish & Chip shop in Port Glasgow town. This place is a little gem just off the Main road from Port Glasgow to Greenock. They serve the best fish & chips ever and portion size is more than enough! Prices are brilliant too and everything is fresh. Staff are friendly and always happy to help. Don’t forget to ask for a tub of gravy, taste is mouth watering!

The chips are good not great but better than average. However the gravy is tremendous so well worth a visit Fish etc is always fresh and service always good.

Food very greasy and chips were reheats and not that great. Price well they fall in line with many others but I don't buy from them that often as I think for what you get and the fact that what you get is foul and nasty it is not good value.

Im an American whos traveled to England and Scotland every summer since I was 6 (now I'm 30). My trips are never complete without fish and chips from Louis's. Best fish, chips, peas and curry sauce. Been the same for years. Walking distance from my aunts apartment so very convenient. Highly recommend

Been getting fish, chicken and chips from Louis's for as many years as I can remember and will continue to go there as there great.

Last night in scotland , couldnt come home without a haggis supper - Louis was on the way home and didnt let us down. Got a fish supper for my mum and a couple of drinks and went and sat by the clyde at newark castle. what a treat, lovely chips and good portion you get two bits of fish with the supper so could do for sharing. Friendly staff and clean tidy shop.

Have been to Louis many times since I was a wee boy. Now just visit occasionally but have realised the quality of their fish suppers has really dropped. Really sad to say it but just average now when they used to be amazing up until a couple of years ago. What happened???

You always get good food from friendly staff who serve you with a smile and once you have visited I guarantee you will want to go back.

I have used this chip shop on many occasions and found it to be value for money. When asking for a fish supper you usually get two fish, not many shops do that these days with the price of fish. I would recommend this wee shop to anyone because the food is good and the staff are always very pleasant.

Louis ' s is a fantastic fish n chip shop. Very friendly staff, quick service. Great variety from fish, black pudding, Hamburgers, Sausages etc. A must visit for all the family.

When my mum was little she use to go to Louis' and now she lives in England. When she comes up for a visit u always take her to louis' the fish is always so fresh and the chips are perfect! Topped off with a glass bottle of irn bru- amazing!

Hugh portions, very, very tasty, piping hot, freshly made. There is allways a little queue, but you are served fast.
