Best services. Only complaint no vegan rolls to have with the great soup

Nothing quick about it. Older lady on til really rude and staff move round at snail pace. 20 mins for a coffee...Sort yourselves out.

Had a Gloucester breakfast.... very very disappointing... was served on a cold plate and not helped by having to wait ages for the coffee... egg was like a rubber disc... a waste of money. Such a shame as was looking forward to it. Gets one star for the sausage!

I didn't expect to find such a nice restaurant at the service area. The restaurant has a farm shop, a play area for children, and outside, there is a lawn and a lake. It's a great place for families with kids to take a break.

Ordered 2 bacon and sausage cobs on a Saturday morning at 8an. They had run out of sausage only bacon to offer. Also ordered a tea and a coffee. Bacon cobs came after 2 mins. I had to ask for sauce and all the server could find was 2 sachets of ketchup. No other options. I had to wait a further 10 mins for drinks. When we came to eat the cobs they were cold as we had, had to wait so long for the drinks. The cob was stale with no butter and the bacon was hard. Definitely not worth £6.25. Save your money and get a sausage roll instead.

Somehow added extra items to our bill that we didn’t want. Got back to the car and the coffee is stone cold

Only had drinks here so I can’t judge the food. I tried the smoothie and it was nice. But the service could be improved. The ladies where not so friendly and quite stressed. Also you can find milkshakes on the menu but they don’t make it which is odd. But other than that, it’s a nice place to have a drink with the view over the pond with ducks.

I should have gone to McDonald's for breakfast. I used to look forward to a breakfast stop here. But the breakfast is now not good. I ordered a Westmorland, a full English, but the scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans etc were just dumped in my plate and look unpleasant. I decided not to buy it and left it on the counter. I went for a bacon and sausage roll that was ok. Dryish bread. In future I will drive to the next MacDonald.

Good range of food and drinks. Quick and efficient ordering on the screens. Order was ready to collect very quickly. The last two times I bought a tea and it spilled out onto my top when I drank. Luckily it wasn't all over my top but certainly quite a bit. Please can you sort out your lids. I did go over and asked for a new lid but it still spills.

Quick kitchen is now the slowest option. What a disappointment and waste of time.

Extremely high price for small pie and coffee £8 just go to McDonald's you can get an entire meal for that price. I don't recommend this place at all. Just tried the coffee £3.25 and it doesn't taste great weak flavour. Being serious a McDonald's coffee that is £1.19 taste significantly better

Vegetarian breakfast menu clearly designed by a meat eater. No clue and as good as non existent unless you have a love affair with tofu

Lovely farmhouse service station with a shop and restaurant. The toilets have plenty of space and are clean. Friendly staff too. Would visit again.

Always stop here as facilities excellent . Normally get takeaway but decided on cooked breakfast , oh dear very disappointed the bacon, black pudding and bubble and squeak were overcooked (hard ) . Customer service a smile or greeting would have helped too . 30 th November .

They had a mix up with the sausage and bacon baps. Customers returned them opened to swap them. Twice the re wrapped open sandwiches and put them back under the hot plate. Serious food hygiene issue. Review your CCTV and see for yourself. 09.50am 23rd September

Lovely food well cooked, hot and served with a smile. Clean tables know Cafe, cleared quickly and cleaned after use.

What an amazing place, of all the service stations I've visited this is top of the tree! Good car parking, lovely grassy walk for your dog, the whole place is open fresh and clean. The farm shop is really good with an excellent choice of local produce. Fab 👍

Best motorway services I’ve visited.

Brilliant food for a motorway service stop. It is all fresh and made there. There are pies, sausages, chips, sausage roll, lasagne, cold sandwiches. All very tasty and quick service. There is good seating outside to enjoy the view. At the side of the car park is a good green space for dog walking. I will definitely make this a stop off next time I'm going down the M5. There is also the Farmshop and a cafeteria next to the Quick Kitchen.

Definitely not quick. Waited 20 minutes for a cold bacon sandwich with some thick brown sauce which tasted more like Branston pickle. Not worth the money spent. I should have carried on driving to Macdonald's.

Best sausage rolls I know of! Great service, lovely coffee. My favourite motorway services by far.

Always good to visit Gloucester services for a look around the farm shop and for a bite to eat. The sausage rolls with cranberry and stuffing are amazing!

Always stop here to use the toilet and have bacon bap and capucino even when in a rush!

This Motorway Service Station is a gem, worth waiting to arrive at near Gloucester. Our first stop from Devon when going to Norfolk. Its light, airy, good selection of food and shop a very smart place with a restful small lake at the rear. Highly recommended!

For a motorway service station this was excellent. Sausage & mash was served as a generous portion which featured small green beans with the peas and shallots in the veg. Nice touches.

Much more than a typical motorway service area, the Quick Kitchen serves quality, home-made dishes using locally-sourced ingredients. No chain "fast food" outlets here. Adjoining is a shop combining farm shop and delicatessen.A welcome break (in the true sense) during a motorway journey.

Really nice place to stop. I appreciate you have overheads, but seriously, the pricing? And the food wasn't all that. Restaurant prices with less than average food. Kids fruit juice was £3. Its cheaper in a pub. Although the setting is nice, I won't stop there again to eat. We had the cooked breakfast, 2 adults 1 child, a drink each, came to £48. It's not like any other services, that's for sure.

Superb lasagne and salads. Excellent service and delicious nutritious food to see us on our way. Why can't all Service Stations be to this high standard? If they can produce this why can't others?. Just perfect for a long journey and for all ages and abilities. The dog walking facilities were much appreciated by Chester Dogg too!

Generally it's good but the food isn't consistent, some stuff is great but then other things are not.

This should be used as the model for far more motorway service stops as it is a friendly and ecologically focussed place. Built to blend in with the surroundings rather than jar with them, it ticks many boxes. It is very pleasing within too; good food offering and facilities albeit somewhat expensive.

The sausage roll appears expensive at £3.70 however it must contain a pound of meat.

I used to love these services when they first opened - however the food seems more pricey than I remembered, the quality isn't as good despite the menu being better then the average services. Also it seems like this place has become too popular, lots of quite rude people pushing in queues etc.

It's just the best service station in THE UK. The best food, facilities and atmosphere. I wish all services were like this.

Love the services, always make a point to stop here whilst driving from Nottingham to Cornwell as it's a little under half way and the kids can have a play in the indoor....and outdoor playground. You will not get better facilities in another service station in the UK. Only down side is you get what you pay for so everything is a premium price and the food portions are very conservative.

Best place for kids. Indoor and outdoor. Modern architecture. Good healthy foods.

Not your usual motorway service station. Although still very busy, the environment was very pleasant and more relaxed. It’s not part of a chain so it has more of an individual identity based on the nearby landscape and wider Gloucestershire countryside.

One of the more enjoyable experiences to be had at motorway services. Food tastes fresh and home cooked, farmshop is great to look around and outside seating area is pleasant. A little overpriced but don't mind paying more if you get decent food, drinks and atmosphere.
