This hotel is definitely not worth the price! The carpets are filthy. Tv was hanging off the wall. Shower head full of scale and hardly any pressure. Breakfast was pre cooked and lukewarm, found a hair under my eggs. Stupid idea that you have to give them your room key everytime you went out. Reception area was really nice, shame they spent their money on that instead of the rooms. Would absolutely not stay here again. Well overpriced for what you get. I told reception about the tv and was expecting it to be fixed by the time we got back from football, but wasn't. Only saving grace was that it's only a 10 minute walk to the emirates stadium. My personal advice is to avoid this place!!!

Had a double bed in a room where if you open both arms you touch both walls. If you get out of bed in the night climb over your partner or slide out the bottom of bed. Breakfast was a nightmare, only had it once in 2 night stay. Never stay here again.

What's a beautiful family Hotel. I am from Cape Town South Africa and I have been visiting the Queens Hotel during my trips to London for the past 21 years. Needless to say, I will always return to this close nit family business Hotel. The warmth and hospitality you need to experience for yourself. Words cannot describe. Their focus is on their clients' needs to be comfortable. The Hotel is situated so comfortably in terms of travelling in each direction, whether it is by bus or by train with bus stops and train stations within walking distance. The Queens Hotel will certainly be on my itinerary for my next visit to London. I will highly recommend without a doubt. Magda Gee

pretty sure they tried to scam me out of my £100 deposit, took them over 40 days multiple emails and my bank getting involved to get my deposit back. they insisted they had refunded it, turns out they hadn’t.

Charged me a £100 deposit to book the room (card only meaning that there's a minimum wait opf 7 days to get your money back after you check out) Only stayed for 1 night and after 12 days I finally got my deposit of only £67.50. I called them to enquire, they said the room was fine and I was entitled to 100% of my deposit but refused to send the remaining balance. The location is nice but not worth the risk of letting someone gain interest off of your money just to rip you off. Only reason for me to return here is to collect the rest of my deposit. Better option is to take an extra 10 minutes journey time and head to Travelodge instead unless you're desperate and like to gamble.

I needed three rooms for the following night and booked three rooms by mistake for 11 months time and once I realised my mistake I contacted hotel as I had paid for the three rooms. I was told if I cancelled them online they would refund me as they realised it was a mistake and that they could obviously re-let rooms for eleven month time!!! I cancelled as requested then they denied this and have taken my money!! Crooks!!!!

Pretty run down. Breakfast very sparse. Very loud due to the traffic outside and you can also hear the neighbors in the room very well….

Booking at short notice after having had bad experiences at other hotels was no problem. I was very happy to be able to stay overnight here. The location and the staff and service were very good. The rooms were also ok, the beds were good and the size of the single room was completely adequate. The pillows could be replaced. Unfortunately I have a hole in the door and a broken chair. In general, the hotel is very noisy and the windows are not very well insulated

Pros: close to transit, good breakfast, nice employees Cons: beds are essentially just box springs, walls are thin enough to hear other guests clearly, very small bathrooms.

A good room for what was needed, only put 4 stars as the TV on the bracket was loose and the blind did not go all the way down. Breakfast was a good range of items, we didn't have the cooked breakfast as we didn't have time. Close to shops, restaurants and train stations. If you're driving there there are some parking but ask in advance. Overall a good hotel, would recommend.

We were in this hotel on October 23, 2024 with my family, we have traveled a lot in hotels of this type, we are not complicated people and yet we had to change hotels after one night there in order to move from real vacation: mixed location, not very safe and quite poorly served compared to tourist areas although this is not the hotel's fault. The room was very small for the price and very poorly insulated so although it was a hotel, we could hear the neighbors as if they were next to us and it was very hot in the room. The heating in the bathroom was disgusting, and the shower was clogged. I had spots all over my legs following my night in this hotel, confirmed by other reviews on different sites. We also specified a double bed and two singles, this request was not honored.. The staff remains quite “friendly” and the breakfast remains adequate but average. Don't waste our money like us, we didn't get anything from the manager and Booking but it was necessary to change because we felt bad there.

Really unaccommodating customer service. We made a mistake and accidentally booked this hotel on a non refundable basis however all the hotel could do was offer us a 10% voucher on a future visit. We booked a 2 night stay and never stayed in the hotel. .

Very decent couple of nights stay here. Travelled in for AEW All In Weekend for the wrestling. Friendly staff and safe location. Breakfast was okay and included in the price. Small rooms but did the job for what they were for, nice and clean and housekept each morning. Reasonable price, would stay again and recommend.

We got what we paid for I think. I booked this hotel because it was cheaper than other London hotels and all we could afford. It is definitely not accessible as there are a lot of steep stairs. I don't expect luxury and we just wanted somewhere to sleep for the night and the hotel delivered on that. We had clean towels each day and the bed was made, however, my child had a rash on his face when he woke up the last morning so I don't know how clean the bedding was. The room itself was practical and mostly clean, although the Tv remote was very very dirty and the carpet looked broken and a little dirty. There was very little ventilation or insulation and the room became very very hot, despite our best efforts to keep it cool. It was very noisy outside but we are used to that. If you are used to a quiet sleep, you might struggle. The blinds also did not work properly. The TV was difficult to see and was hanging off the wall. There was a phone but I don't think it was plugged in (not that we needed it) and the cable seemed to be attached with tape. The bathroom was compact but clean, although the soap in the shower was not filled up, which just felt like a small detail that would have made the stay feel a little nicer. The kettle had also not been emptied since the previous occupant. The breakfast was a little sad, although considering it was included in the price , it was fine. The vegetarian breakfast was one plant sausage, one egg, a ramekin of beans and some toast. I was a little disappointed that there were no alternative milks available. The coffee tasted like instant coffee in a pot. The chef was friendly and helpful though. The staff were helpful and a couple were friendly. I did not see the same staff member twice, but there was 24 hour coverage , which made it feel a little safer. The WiFi was good.

A very youth-friendly hotel, the rooms are narrow, but this hotel is meant for overnight stays. The breakfast was very good. Hot water comes only at night or early in the morning. I was satisfied with the hotel, the transport connection to the city is very good. Finsbury station is also not far. Across the road from the hotel is the large and beautiful Finsbury Park

The staff were friendly and helpful, there was a good breakfast and the price per night was competitive. But the double glazing in the room did not keep the noise of the traffic out and allowed just six hours sleep each night, the water took over six minutes to get warm enough for a shower, and the wall between rooms are very thin and do not keep out the noise from the other rooms.

The room I was originally booked into was extremely small and oppressive. The radiator had also seen better days [itvwas litterally full of rust]. Even though this was at the back of the hotel [reason this room was given to me was it was quiet], I asked to be moved which was obliged so thank you. My next room was a little better. Even though the room was clean, I would say it needed an upgrade. The TV was at the wrong height [should have been lower], the cleaning solution used to clean the room was over powering, there was a 4 to 5 inch in lenght hole in the bathroom door and the shower was tiny. I am only 5ft 2 and found washing in the shower difficult. These rooms aren't cheap so i expected a little more. The only real gripe was breakfast. My stay was for two days and on the second day I asked for 2 eggs and 2 slices if toast [note breakfast came with the booking]. I immediately got 2 eggs which must have been made beforehand as they were on the table within a minute or two and barely warm. The toast came about 5 minutes later. There were only 3 slices of two being brown bread and one being white. Given the kitchen is literally just off the eating area I don't think that's acceptable. Egg and toast is not difficult to make. I went to ask the server where the toast was which clearly upset her who mumbled its coming. This was about 5 minutes after the eggs came. It doesn't take no more than 5 minutes to make 2 fried eggs and 2 slices of toast. Why the attitude? I was not even asked how I would like my eggs?? In any case this hotel is in a great location which will make up for the lack of facilities for anyone staying there. Finsbury Park Station is literally across the road.

February 2021Price = Pricey for what is it. Not extortionate, but slightly more than other nearby places. (2 out of 5)Cleanliness = Very clean with zero complaints. (5 out of 5)Service = Service was great. Not complaints. (5 out of 5)Food/Restaurant = The food was nicely flavoured but the saltiness was too much (in comparison to many similar places). The rice was very oily. The bread and salad was good. (3 out of 5)Overall Experience = For the restaurant level pricing, I would expect a bit more in terms of flavours and not an over reliance on salt. I did try this once before the Government' August 2020 'Eat Out To Help Out' incentive and it was better that time. I don't mind paying a higher price for a 'difference' whether quality or quality. (3 out of 5).

I have lived near the stated address for several decades. There is not now and never has been an Italian restaurant called Bella Vita on Clarence Road.

Me and an old school friend have eaten here a couple of times. The food is very good and very reasonable priced. The décor is of somewhat faded grandeur. The staff were both friendly, attentive and efficient. I recommend it.
