Very disappointing. Probably the worst chicken kebab I’ve had.

Spent £25 on a Q’s special Kebab for 2 people there wasn’t enough on it for 1 person let alone 2 and a garlic bread with tomato and cheese which was very nice .

We’ve used Qs for many years but after last night’s fiasco we will not be using them ever again . Beware be prepared to wait 2.5 hrs for your order & recieve a barrage of abuse from the owner who clearly has a problem with women by the way he speaks to you if you question why an orders taken so long , I’d go as far as to say he was absolutely vile! Thankfully Farzs in golborne delivered our order and it was absolutely delicious and delivered on time

Absolutely awesome 👌 asked if they could do a bbq meat feast calzone as it wasn't on the menu. Let's just say this place is now my favourite place ever for a calzone. Thank you, guys. We will definitely be back for more 😀😃🙂 👍

Wow, that was an experience and no mistaking. It is a busy place. My wife and I had a 12 inch pizza each. That’s a lot of food. They did not hold back on the cheese. The food was good. It was a Friday night and I had to wait about 20 minutes, which was fine. Would I go back? Yes, to try something different the next time.

Unfortunately I’ve had to change my review of this place, £19 for 2 small pizzas and a portion of chips is terrible value, and not even delivered. The two pizzas were very poor quality, the dough is not cooked properly under the toppings. I would guess the dough is not a very good recipe as the crusts were rock hard, the cheese was also very bland. Poor quality and over priced…We’ll get some ingredients and cook a better pizza at home next time for less money!

First time trying Q's. Rang and order in (small order) and was told it would be 45 mins. If we was waiting on delivery I'd expect that but we was collecting so this seems very high (pretty much everywhere else is about 20 mins for collection) Anyway, we get there after 45 minutes and the order hasn't even been done. We get told it'll be another 15 minutes. Fair enough, maybe they are busy (although we was the only ones in there) To be honest its a good job it wasn't done because it was at this moment we was told that you can't pay on card (in this day and age who doesn't accept card payments) was told to go to co-op next door to cash machine. Guess what was out of order. We then had to ask and we ended up driving about 5 minutes away to go to Asda to use there machines. (What a joke this was) Anyway, finally got the food and took it home. Pizza was ok, the kids ate it anyway. The kebab was dry (which considering they poured what seemed to be an entire bottle of garlic mayo on it, really confused me) and also, the mayo had barely any flavour to it and was very watery. All in all, for first time users we was not impressed. Won't be going back. In fact, just around the corner (not too far from asda) there's and entire street filled with takeaways. Me thinks we will be going there.

The pizza is lovely and fresh, really tasty. The staff are pleasant to busy to spend time talking. There is no menu to browse. So you feel rushed to pick what you want. From the board.

Food used to be amazing here. Bought a special kebab and it was so bad. Chicken and lamb was like rock hard. And all burned. Disappointed

Tried this place for the first time tonight, couldn't find a menu online so had to ring up with our usual order. Since when does meat feast pizza come with vegetables on it?! Chips were rock hard, garlic bread overcooked. £28 wasted. Will not be ordering again.

I've now had several pizzas from this establishment. The first one was fabulous, but, I like to sample food a number of times before I leave a review. However, I must say that the food supplied has been consistently excellent. The service is very good, everything is cooked fresh. Whilst the food isnt the cheapest, its excellent value for what you are served up. Well done to the owners

Really garlicky, cheesy garlic bread and fabulous pizza. Lovely food and fast. They don't take cards and trying to get cash around there is a nightmare if the coop cash machine isn't working.

I think it’s about time someone put a recent review on here as many things have changed and not for the better. They don’t serve food and haven’t since the unfortunate death of a previous landlord. RIP Mick. The last year things have gone from worse to worse and although customers going in, who have got involved to revamp the experience with social events like quiz nights, it’s only the friends that go in make it worth going in at all. Firstly, the drinks on draught, are hit and miss for quality, with the lack of gas one issue and then, the scandalous pricing for a local pub in a family orientated area the other. If you compared these with the centre of Tyldesleys prices, you’d wonder why people drink here. Most of the staff are inexperienced and rude and don’t do the basics like, collecting empties off tables and generally keeping the place tidy when there’s no one at the bar. The snacks ate not replenished and run out of things often. You end up going to the local coop or even, bring food from the takeaways from the precinct next door. The adjoining “vault” area always seems like there’s something dodgy going on and I’ve seen certain staff popping off to the toilet after being handed something and could explain why some are rude and act like they own the place. Many times they’re swearing in front of families and occasionally ranting at customers, slagging the place off and saying why do you even come here, “it’s a s hole”. Then there’s the actual sports shown there. Some tvs don’t work properly, the sound is in one area and the surround experience they keep telling you they’ve had installed, is really bad. Lots of cables dangling down and mounted tvs look unsafe. If you put this on top of the pricing, why would you go in to watch the football regularly. Now to the kids play area which hasn’t changed since I moved into the area in 2001. The climbing frame looks unsafe and there are nails and other things around and the fencing is constantly broken. They have double the space out the back but, only use half of it and again it’s just really untidy and not very nice for families. They have added benches to the back and to the front of the pub in a small beer garden but, the back drop of that is houses opposite and the sometimes busy Stour road. Overall, it’s over priced, staff poor and the only the reason I go in is the people who go in to socialise with but, we all complain about one of the mentioned negatives. Not an enjoyable experience if you think about what you get for your money. We all live within walking distance and just deserve so much more from a local and could be so much more if someone actually ran the pub properly. Most days it’s empty but, if the pricing was more affordable for all, it would definitely be well frequented and you’d see even more local people choose this pub instead of doing the 10 minute walk to Tyldesley. Such a shame after the previous owners started to get food off the ground and it was more affordable overall.

Visited for the first time last night.. Food excellent best Indian meal we've had for a while (including restaurants). Obviously freshly cooked and still piping hot when we got it home. Delicious. Will definitely be going again.
