QPlus Tropical Taste Restaurant & Bar in Manchester

Really enjoyed my Suya and fried plantain takeaway on a Saturday. The place was full of people talking and laughing. Afrobeat playing. The chef was very friendly and very professional. The waitress was polite and friendly. I had a glass of wine while waiting for my food. Friendly atmosphere. The best part was how great the food tasted 😋. Absolutely divine. The plantain and meat portions were very generous. The chef asked me how hot I wanted my meat to be seasoned and it was spot on. I also really like the chili sauce - delicious. Will definitely come back to try more of the menu with friends. Can’t recommend QPlus Tropical Restaurant enough. Go and try it out then come and share your experience. Thank you 🙏🏽

Great experience. The food is marinated and cooked from fresh. The Suya steak is my favourite really yummy and tasty, my favourite side dish is yam and I love the freshly made pepper sauce. I was happy with the customer service experience friendly and helpful. The chef has a good sense of humour and often makes jokes and interacts with customers. Which is something you don't often see as owner and chef are usually in the background unseen. Atmosphere and ambience is lovely and cosy and I love the music, I enjoy when the DJ is there on weekends as you can turn a dinning experience into bar/ club and dancing. I would recommend 👌 going to experience the food leaving you wanting more. I am looking forward to going back for my Suya, Fish 🐟, yam and of course plantain.

Very very disrespectful man and Zero customer service. Please don’t go if you value your money. He’ll insult you. Paying 27 pounds!!! You are such a liar. I paid 32 pounds. 27 pounds for the meat and an extra 5 pound for an extra portion of yam. You sell the food platter with a portion of yam and a portion of sauce. I paid you an extra 5 pounds for an extra portion of yam but you gave us just one portion of the sauce and I complained to you. Next thing you said if I go to McDonald’s don’t I pay for the sauce. Can you imagine. You want to sell the yam for 5 pounds and sell the sauce for another 5 pounds? I told you couldn’t eat the yam and it had to go to waste cause the sauce wasn’t enough and the next thing you say to me is not to come to your shop anymore. I’m a regular customer in your shop for the past 1 month now and this is not the first time you are rude to me but I just let it slide. There was the day I was eating and requested for drinks and you told me to stand up from my food and come to get them, that you can’t serve me. I was shocked to my bone marrows. Over and over, you’ve been really rude to me and I’ve seen you fight with and be rude to other customers without any remorse. I’m glad I’m not the only one that dropped the rude comments so that speaks for itself.

I strongly recommend this amazing restaurant. Had a nice dinner time there. Service is excellent, food is amazing and affordable, the environment is cosy and welcoming.

Rubbish food! Not nice! Owner rude! Needs to sort his price list out! Not nice at all! food poisoning from this rubbish place! Fish is not a fish it’s just a head in a box! Not grilled full fish! Absolutely ridiculous how he’s changed such an amount £30 for a fish head abit of pepper and small amount of food I’ll never no! This place is not worth any we’re near the money it’s changing! Disrespectful owner and disrespectful to regular customers! Eaten here on many occasions and yet expects me to put up with being changed £30 for half of the amount I would of in a restaurant

Food is not what you order!! Over priced bag of rubbish picked up. No grilled fish! Cat fish! Nasty food! And not worth the money at all! Plus his manners are disgusting not a good restaurant or take away now I see why he asked for payment upfront! Needs to sort his food out! Stop over changing people for food that he dose not even deliver on! Really bad!!!! Don’t order from him!!!

Wow. Never been here before. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was sublime. Really really enjoyed it.. the atmosphere was very fitting. Very relaxed chilled out place. Staff were really friendly. Can't wait to come back.

Amazing and comfortable dine in takeaway restaurant. Very welcoming and cheerful chef, the roast whole fish was prepared fresh and tastes delicious…a awesome hospitality ☺️☺️ Better to book ahead. We walked in, reason our few minutes wait before our meals was ready. It was scrumptious. Hot meals at its best! Very well organised with an excellent presentation. Highly recommended 💯

Had surya here amazing personally I’ve never had surya that’s not of Nigerian but this was awesome and am definitely coming back here with my wife as I’ve come with the boys…love it…
