Love this place. Been meaning to write a review for a while! Serve the best coffees and hot drinks around, great tasting and great value. Not to mention the little chocolate that is served with them. Visited various times, once bringing my two dogs and sitting out the front (where they also kindly offered my dogs some water) another time bringing my little nephew who loves the milkshakes! Great for relaxing with a drink or purchasing a personalised gift and staff are always so lovely and welcoming! Does have a small amount of seating but this is part of it's cozy charm! Sit in and enjoy the delicious smell of chocolate while you relax with a brew!

Stopped in here whilst our car was being cleaned, the freshly made hot chocolate was delicious! I had a dark chocolate one and my boyfriend had a chocolate orange one, we treated ourselves to some chocolate marshmallows and extra chocolate treats, all made in the shop. We left feeling sick like little kids after a real indulgence, but it was totally worth it and will be back again and again, they also do take out 😊.

A superb, busy chocolatier and coffee shop that belies its outward appearance. Always a wide range of fresh, hand-made chocolates on offer whose tastes and textures are sublime. New flavours are regularly put on show and always work well due to the skills and expertise of chocolatier/owner. Hand decorated chocolate items on sale include, champagne bottles, beer glasses, stiletto shoes, boxes of dominoes and many others which can be personalised with messages & greetings. Very good coffee & cake treats add to the experience.

On a sunny afternoon, we went for a coffee and a Belgian chocolate before going shopping at the supermarkets nearby. Pure Cocoa is an oasis of luxury (and calm) in the centre of Hazel Grove. They make their own confections. Some are quite creative.

Had an assortment of Milk & White chocolate lollipops personalised for my niece's baby shower and a chocolate pram with individually selected chocolates inside it for my niece. They all looked fabulous and everyone said the chocolate was amazing. Thank you!

This is a shame. It was fabulous when it was Simon Dunnes but its not got the same standard now. Its still nice but its missing that exclusivity.

Not sure if it is a cafe that sells excellent chocolates or a chocolate shop that has an excellent cafe. Either way it is always a treat to stop here and have a drink or buy stop chocolates. Clean. Friendly and smells amazing.

I have visited this place many of times over tge past couple of months.. it certainly is the bwst coffee in the Grove by far. When you walk in seating is generous although wish the place had more room to expand so that they could bulk up on the seating. The chocolate is soo good and made from fresh! They even have a display which explains how they make the chocolate and what goes into it! They have many displays of chocolate to purchase in variable mixtures of choice.. you can see they put alot of effort in to making a sculpted chocolate! They range from boxes of assorted flavoured chocolates to chocolate moulds..any shape and size with reasonable pricing! I've got to admit the coffee is really good.. I usually have a latte to go.. they even place a chocolate on top and a napkin too! Staff friendly and overall a gem not to miss! Pricing reasonable also!!

Went to this place on a cold, wet and miserable day. Ordered a white hot chocolate, which was amazing easily the best white chocolate I have ever had, also had a Rocky road piece of cake, very chocolatey, my son had a classic white chocolate, both served with a small piece of chocolate. Service a little slow, very clean. Sell lots of chocolates, variations on different hot chocolate drinks. A real chocolate lover's delight. Not cheap but well recommended for a chocolate fix.

This is the third time I have visited here with my husband. We always have a dark hot chocolate and a couple of chocolates east. I especially like the dark Madagascan vanilla chocolates. The cafe is small and quiet but the chocolates are to die for. Definitely worth a visit.

I have visited the shop many times and have always been welcomed by a huge smile from the helpful staff. The children love coming to the shop and having a hot chocolate whilst watching the chocolatier making his wonderful creations. The range of flavours and novelties is great when purchasing gifts and are always well received. Cannot recommend this chocolate shop enough

We were out early one Saturday morning and looking for somewhere for breakfast and coffee so we thought we would try here. Was slightly disappointed to find the only food available was chocolate and cakes. The only savoury item was teacakes which were quite large with 2 small pats of butter. Very disappointing. The service was OK, would have been better if the person serving us had not looked miserable! Onto the drinks though. The Americano coffee hubby had was good, and the soya mocha i had was lovely. Tasted proper chocolately, and creamy. Both drinks came with a small chocolate which was divine. If I'm in Hazel Grove and want a coffee I'll pop in, but for anything else i wouldn't bother. I didn't try the chocolates even though they did look good.

The most amazing chocolates money can buy. Buy them boxed or individually. The Madagascan vanilla is a must. Great gifts for everyone, personalised with your choice of verse.Treat yourself to the best cup of coffee or tea and indulge in a teacake, scone or chocolate brownie. My favourite is the Mocha, outstanding ! The staff are so friendly, making this the most relaxing place to be in amongst the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. Everything feels better once I've been here.

Staff act like they don’t want you there. Walked in and waited a few seconds to be greeted. Never happened (3 members of staff all behind the counter). Sat down on a table and grabbed ourselves menus, looked through for 5 mins. Still not acknowledged or greeted. Went to the till and ordered, the only bit of conversation received was “eat in or take out”. In such a manner I felt they might be closing soon and may be annoyed that we’ve come in close to closing time. So I asked what time they close the girl said 10pm. It was 8:30pm. So I chose to eat in. The food was brought to us and the person walked away as fast as possible without even asking if we needed anything else or wanted to order drinks. Honestly agree with the other 1 star reviews this place isn’t going to last long at all if the staff have this mentality and approach

We used to love coming here as the service is fantastic from Collette & Paula the food went down hill very fast so we stopped going but loved the girls here so we returned yesterday Collette was fantastic as always but the food was disgusting I had burger & chips which was a cheap frozen burnt burger no bacon no dirty chips I couldn’t eat it my husband ordered the Fish & Chips large it was minuscule and the fish was a rectangular frozen fish with 10 super greasy chips. The kitchen is filthy & smells of old burnt fat which we could all taste. AVOID this restaurant it’s over priced and disgusting!

Fabulous cream tea with great, attentive staff. Very retro style, although the loos are a bit strange having no sort of ante-room. Just walk in straight off the pub floor. Maybe a trellis screen or something outside might help. However, the decor in the loos is pure 80s, and I loved it. The dog was given dog treats and ice cubes, which she enjoyed. The only real moan was that the music was a bit loud, especially as we went in at 4.30 pm. Turn it up for the evening crowd by all means, but a bit much for afternoon. I'd highly recommend.
