Nice cod and chips. But very limited selection - cod is the only fish available, and only one size. It's cash only. And no sauces like tartar sauce. Fairly cheap though - cod and medium chips was £8.80.

Lovely freshly cooked fish and chips. Always delicious, hot and plentiful. Nice people who run the chippy.

We always buy our chips from the chippy to go with our meal once a week. The sausage, chips and gravy are lovely - perfect when the weather turns cold. The chippy is always busy, the staff friendly and the portion sizes of the chips are massive. With being busy, all the food is cooked fresh, and it shows. Its definitely value for money.

I use High Lane Chippy on a regular basis. The cod is cooked to order so you need to request they put one in for you when you arrive. Chips are perfect and best curry sauce for miles around, pies are Holland. The ladies serving are friendly always service with a smile. I travel down from Disley and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I wish they did delivery!

I was amazed, this chip shop looks nothing special and I picked up some fish and chips to take into the hospital. It's was the best I've tasted for years and really cheered up the person I was visiting. It's the first time I can remember eating all the chips from a chip shop for about 20 years, I enjoyed the last clip as much as the first! It's my new favourite

Big fan of fish here, this place always does them perfectly. People I've recommended it to are always skeptical at first, now they're all hooked.

Expensive for what I got..not even a potato in the tray of chips and 4.79 for a child like meal....not going to go there again

The three of us had fish and (medium) chips. We all enjoyed the meal. The fish was perfectly cooked in batter and the chips were a good sized portion. We will definitively use High Lane Fish Bar again.

First time had fish and chips from High Lane,fabulous all hot,fresh and tasty.Good size portions,plenty of chips .Please visit you wont be disappointed.

Came here only because the excellent Goyt Fish Bar was closed. Cash only! I wonder why that is? 4* Hygiene rating (no excuse). Tiny portions - Fish half the size of Goyt Fish bar. Curry sauce twice the price. Chips undercooked. Disappointing.

Popped in for fish and chips hoping they would be ok at best , I was wrong ,the fish is absolutely gorgeous ,lovely batter ,nice flakey fish and freshly cooked , chips are decent as well .I now drive 11 miles just for fish n chips

Just moored up on our narrowboat to find a chippy about 90yds away so treated our selfs to fish and chips one of best fish's we have had I a long ...very good highly recommend thank Caz & karl aboard misty x

I've now tried a couple of chippys in the area and none of them equal High Lane F&Chips. First class fish and good chips can't be beaten.
