Psilo Bar in Leeds

In Leeds for Sum 41 concert and just looked for somewhere to have a quick drink before we went in. Music choice was excellent and really good price too. We got a discount due to having Arena tickets for the concert which was a really nice touch. Decor was fab, would have stayed longer if we didn't have to get to the concert!

Came here after watching Paul Smith. Loved the atmosphere, decor, staff were friendly and fun. Especially the one who served us (Long hair, large septum piercing). Would visit again if in the area.

The decor, atmosphere, music and cocktails are all superb in this place. We always struggle finding a cocktail bar that suits all our likes as I enjoy a place with some class, that plays music you can enjoy and at the same time isn’t overly busy and has a touch of class. I’ve found it in Psilo Bar in Leeds. The owner also spoke to me. Lydia. A lovely young lady who obviously had worked hard on the place, and Aaron and Rowan were both friendly and hardworking barmen

The staff at this bar have been absolutely fantastic. The bar its self has such a wide range of music which accompanies the taste of the many and not just the few and the range of drinks on the menu is absolutely wonderful, I may have stuck to my usual order - monkey shoulder no ice - but I usually find at bars there can be too much choice or too little choice and Psilo Bar has found that happy median but at the same time, all of the staff are extremely knowledgeable at their craft, you may think of them as witches and wizards, concocting all sorts of wonderful drinks 🔥 The staff on the door (Andy) is an absolute delight to talk to whereas others throughout Leeds tend to be stand-off ish. If you are wanting friendly staff, great music and wonderful drinks, I highly recommend this bar to anybody. Whether you are starting, in the middle or at the end of your night. Lovely bar, great music & nice outdoor seating in the sun. Bar staff were great and agreed to swap a drink out for me when my friend ordered wrong, not their fault at all but great service! Thank you

Run by great staff the manageress was brilliant and so friendly and helpful. We had the bottomless brink which was delicious. We also booked a Karaoke booth which so much fun (and importantly we'll soundproofed so other people couldn't hear us). The bar atmosphere was great too with really good music selection, (indie) one of the best I've ever heard in a bar. Overall a great night out.

Great drinks at good prices. Lots of different cocktails at decent prices. But it's so loud in there you have to shout to hear eachother which is always annoying for me. Decor and vibe definitely an upgrade on what it used to be.

A cute, cosy bar that's a fun night out. We enjoyed happy hour cocktails and I love how they'll change a flavour of cocktail to your liking. The staff were friendly and the vibe of the bar is great. I also love how they have board games available to play.

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! Everything about this place is aesthetically pleasing. Easy to find bar in a great location, not hidden away like some places. A marquee covered the smoking area just a step away, for days when the weather isn't the kindest. We came here for a quick drink before heading to a gig and stayed for longer than expected as it was such a great feeling venue with delicious drinks. Great list of drinks available, but if you don't fancy what they have written, you can ask for something else and they're more than happy to make it for you. I had the best espresso martini in my life. Perfectly chilled glass, a great variety of syrups on offer (the cocktail list had Terry's Chocolate Orange but as I don't like that I was offered 5+ alternative flavourings) I had salted caramel and it was to die for. The spirits and liquor covered the 2 walls behind the bar so an abundance of choice, with a number of tasty options on draught too. Happy hour on cocktails meant 2 for £12. Which I thought was a great price, especially for the quality of service received. The staff were super friendly and great at their jobs. We sat in the window which made for the best people watching, in comfy seats too! The rest of the bar consisted of luxe sofas in beautiful lighting. The attention to detail here is perfect. Couldn't recommend this place enough! I wish I lived closer so that this was my local. Will always visit here when I'm in Leeds, and suggest everyone else does the same!

Drew was a legend. His friendly disposition outside the bar in his conversation attracted us into the bar. The ambiance within and the personal service were outstanding, the drinks matching such a high bar. To be recommended.

A very unique and aesthetically pleasing bar, as well as amazing staff. Visited here for a bottomless brunch a couple of weeks ago and I can not fault it! Lydia, Andy and the team are very accommodating. I’ve come here every chance I could since they opened and every experience is nothing short of incredible. As well as amazing drinks offers, their cocktails are AMAZING ❤️ If you don’t know - GET TO KNOW🙌🏻

Went for bottomless brunch yesterday. Was excellent value for money. The staff go above and beyond and are friendly and work well. The food was the best I have had on any bottomless brunch. I love that it was a sharing platter rather than Individually plated. The only thing I would suggest, would be to serve side plates along side it, so that you have something to put your bits on. Other than that a great day out! Thank you team hardys!

Hardy's is an amazing place and feels like a home from home. All the staff are friendly, chatty and fun. Ever since the first time we went we have always made sure we go to Hardy's at some point on a night out. The joy from staff playing live music themselves to the constant banter makes you feel like everyone is on the same vibe and having fun. Everything about it is perfect in my eyes. Drinks are nice and good prices but the live music was awful and too loud. Asked them to turn the music down but was turned back up. The genre was not fitting for a Friday evening felt like I was at a wake

What can i say I love this place. When for my freinds birthday And the team there went above and beyond what was expected. We had a table for 8 booked and travelled that day from Doncaster with our train running late and also with a uber in Leeds not picking us up we arrived 20 mins into our booked slot. The manager was amazing and let us stay a little longer so we got our 2 hours. The vegetarian platter was nice and the drinks were constantly being poured. I want to say a massive thank you to all the staff for making it a great start to the night and also to a one of the bar maids who when a few of the group left the building to have a cigarette came out and asked us what we would like to drink. Truly amazing customer service and lovely place will deffinaltly be going back in the future

Myself and 6 friends spent ages looking for the perfect cocktail making class to celebrate a special birthday. We finally found one at Hardy’s, booked and paid our deposit almost 3 months in advance. 1 month before the event I received an email asking if there was any chance we could change our booking time to an earlier slot as a regular had been in touch that week and would like to hire the whole venue for their engagement party. I emailed back within the same night to let them know that unfortunately due to work commitments we couldn’t change our time as we wouldn’t make it and that with it been so close to Christmas we’d struggle to find anywhere else. I waited several days for a reply and when I finally received one it said that unfortunately the manager had gone ahead and booked the engagement party already and that we could no longer go ahead with or booking. The guy I was in contact with did say however that he would do his best to sort us a new venue and was very apologetic. I explained that we picked this venue specifically for the price, what it had to offer and how close it was to another event we had booked in that night. I waited another several days to hear back from the bar after sending plenty of reminders and still received nothing. I asked for a contact number as one wasn’t available online and only then did they reply saying they’d found us a new venue. I messaged regarding the new venue about how there was a difference in price and location and again received nothing back. By this time it was now too late to book anywhere else as everywhere was filling up for Christmas do’s. After waiting a full week I had to drive to Leeds purely just to go speak to someone about my booking. In all fairness the guy I spoke to at the bar was very apologetic and told us they’d book us in at a different venue and pay for any extra cost we would have to endure. He also said that we would revive a free bottle of Prosecco the next time we are at Hardy’s. When messaging the new venue a few days later they’d heard nothing about this new booking and didn’t seem to know anything about the change in venue/price. I messaged Hardy’s again and again no reply for ages. They finally got back to me to explain they’d refund my deposit and the extra it would cost at the new venue. Although again, it took a lot of asking and late reply’s to get the money in to my bank, I didn’t receive the money in to my bank until late the day we was actually going! We really enjoyed the night and the new venue dirty martini and they couldn’t do enough for us, but as for Hardy’s it took a lot of organising and communication which was not acceptable. I feel we booked well in advance and our booking should have not been changed to honour a regular who requested the date months after us. To add to that we still haven’t received anything evidencing that we have a free bottle of Prosecco the next time we are at Hardy’s and to be quite honest after my booking experience I don’t think I’ll be in a rush to visit any time soon anyways.

Had my hen party here with my sisters and best friend. All my best girls. We arrived as our prosecco was getting poured. We were right on time and our cocktail teacher was fun, friendly, and very welcoming. He was knowledgeable about his cocktails and we enjoyed making them, enjoying many laughs along the way😁 I did not realise I was so drunk/tispy until watching a video back tonight of me talking about fillings and Yorkshire tea 🙄🤔😉🤣🤣 #confessionsofadentalnurse even on my hen night 😂🐔🍸💃💉🍸 all staff very friendly and pleasant @ Hardys. My hen night was on 25/05/19, I definitely recommend Hardys cocktail bar 👏 I will definitely be back with friends to enjoy more cocktails and promise not to talk about fillings... 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ 5* 👌 Atmosphere was perfect, good music, gorgeous drinks. Cocktail master class is definitely worth it and it was fun from start to finish 😍🍹🍸✔️

Pre Shrek the musical drinks here, walked in and they immediately made kids welcome. Produced mocktails for them and bottle of fizz for the adults. Then put the shrek soundtrack on. Top quality service way beyond expected or asked for!!! Outstanding! Thank you and happy Christmas
