Pronto Pizzas in Eilean Siar

See the thing is, I’ve had pizzas from here before under the new management and they are pretty good. But I’ve rarely been able to get through. In a few months I’ve only managed like 3 times. Or there’s times I’ll walk past when the site says they are open, only to be met with closed and dark doors. Again great food, but not happy with the lack of communication.

I have been on the island for 3 years now and this was my first time order. Great friendly service and delivery, could not fault that, but the quality of the pizza left a lot to be desired! food delivered luke warm and I am literally 2 mins up the road, the base of the pizza was chewy and clearly not cooked peoperly! I won't be ordering from them again. £27.50 down and dissappointed!

Save your money and don’t go here. Ordered a “veggie supreme” and a “margarita,” pizza. Got a pepperoni pizza and a meat & pepper pizza instead. Both of us are vegetarians… Unfortunately, we were already at home when we opened the boxes to eat.

I got a Pronto special just before it closed as only late night takeaway open. Shop bought bases quite carboardy, and price not reflective of quality at all, very disappointing 😔

Just the trick for a large gathering on a dreary Saturday night. Arrived in good time and were very tasty, especially the chicken and chilli one

After a busy day in the garden, during lockdown, it was too late to start preparing food so opted for a Pizza instead. It was 'Big Bites' loss that I could not get through on their landlines. The Pepperoni and Chicken Supreme Pizza's were fresh and tasted delicious. They were delivered and arrived before the 40 minute timescale. A lovely break from cooking. Cash paid on arrival. Would highly recommend and delivery was a bonus, not having to go out on lock-down.

We love the 12 inch Pronto Special pizza, always yummy. The chips are good too. all the food is very reasonably priced too, would recommend it

We got a recent takeaway from here when we were in Stornoway at 10pm on a Monday night and not much else was open. Pizza was decent although they could be doing with freshly made bases, as it was a bit dry.. toppings were good though and as were the chips & cheese.

Couldn't get a table anywhere for dinner so had takeaway pizza instead. Also do burgers. Very good and reasonably priced.

I am extremely disappointed with the food here, the dough was podgy and it was messy. I thought they was better than this when I saw the reviews. Never again.

We placed an order for delivery on a Saturday evening and were given a 50 minute wait. Wound up being more like 1 hour 15 mins as driver got lost. I would recommend ordering early, especially at busy times. However the pizza was good though not spectacular. Reasonably priced.

Nice crispy base with very generous toppings and plenty of choice...friendly and helpful staf falthough very busy on a Saturday night.

This is one of the few (if not the only) takeaway pizza restaurants in Lewis and could be a propper goldmine (it possibly is, i haven't seen the books) if they made their own dough instead of using bought in bases. The toppings are really tasty but the bought in base lets it down. Service was speedy though and from order to take away was no longer than 10min. I'd give it full marks if they made their own dough!!

Staff were welcoming. We ordered a chilli chicken pizza but when we got it, it was more like a cheese and tomato pizza. Not the best quality. Bases are not freshly prepared more like shop bought.

The girl serving was great - she was staying open for Hebcelt and was welcoming to every single customer, even though it was late. And when she accidentally dropped a pizza for someone else, she apologised and quickly sorted out things. No churlish moaning. Cheery chat all the way. Thanks.

We spent a night in Stornaway after a camping trip. We decided on pizza. Pronto did not disappoint. Friendly staff and we all agreed afterwards best pizza for a long long time. Keep up the good work Pronto.

Struggling to find a vegetarian friendly restaurant this was a obvious alternative as a takeaway and were not disappointed. Good pizza with a lot of toppings etc

These pizzas may be the best on the island but they are far from brilliant. The best thing was the generous amount of toppings.

Me apareció en una pizza para comer sentados al sol mirando el puerto. Tomamos una pizza, estaba recién hecho en frente de nosotros, muy sabroso y una gran porción de patatas fritas, así que yo tenía que paso ya que demasiadas. La pizza era un poco más cubiertas con queso y las patatas fritas habría sido mucho mejor con sal y vinagre, pero me gustó mucho la comida.

Good pizzas for value. Works till 9 pm but though we were late got a pizza. Pizzas are not the best in the world but ok.

Good food reasonably priced take away restaurant with delivery service in local area. Open late (Saturday night anyway) great for after pub grub.

Some of our group got takeaway pizza after the late ferry crossing. They all seemed to enjoy it and the staff coped well with such a large number of people descending on them!

Don't know why it took me so long to get a take out from Pronto Pizza - but I was so pleased I did. Great pizza and great prices to match. Service was great too.

They make fab pizzas and are not stingy with the toppings, they are delicious but can't eat a whole one.

Visited three times in four days, really enjoyed our food. A 7inch pizza with two toppings, portion of garlick bread and a can of pop for £6.00, plus potato wedges and a dip for £2.00, Great value. The owner and his wife were really friendly and generous with the portions.

Decent pizza for the price, staff were friendly and very chatty. Next time though I will be asking for mozzarella on my chips & cheese.

Hot, delivered on time to our B&B just outside Stornoway, good quality toppings, base average. Considering the choice for travellers with dogs in Stornoway (poor), we were relieved to find this place!!!

Pronto's sells the best pizzas on the island they are open late (untill 2 or 3am at the weekends) and they are the ONLY takeaway that delivers I love to end each work week with a pizza from them as regardless of when I finish I can know they will be open and willing to deliver to my door

Nice pizzas, good choice of toppings which were generously applied. Quickly served - but only 1 size of base available.
