Booked bottomless brunch. Extremely long day wait for drinks .. not what we expected after. Cancelled the brunch once first drinks came out. Waited 25 mins for first drink?? Done brunch in the past at turtle bay etc.. never had such a bad experience . Avoid Got charged £10 for the cocktail we waited 25 mins for too! Avoid avoid avoid

Lovely meal at lunchtime today. Great gluten free pizza and everyone happy with their pasta dishes as well. Service was exceptional from Ben. Very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Starters and drink were good. Main dinners, nobody particularly enjoyed, pizzas were too crispy that it was hard to cut through using pizza cutter, pasta was bland. One new staff member who we believe only started last week was lovely, however, had not been given the right information/ trained properly. The manager or assistant manager who was a young male was rude and needs to learn how to communicate with customers and made the young female who had only just started feel very uncomfortable due to her not being given the correct training. We did get given money off of the bill, but this does not compensate for the rudeness and the feeling of not being welcome. This meal was also for a birthday meal which was supposed to feel special and also our first time coming to this restaurant. Which we will not recommend or attend again.

We normally enjoy visiting Prezzo, but it was clear this time there wasn't enough staff. The staff were doing their best, but they just couldn't cope as the restaurant was busy. Please invest in more staff, the experience has put us off visiting again. A drink was missed then we had to ask 3 times for the missing drink. The bar was full of empty glasses waiting to be cleared. Nobody check in on us once we got our food. The staff were visibly under pressure which doesn't make a nice atmosphere, shame as we were a table of 8 there for a birthday celebration.

pastas lacked a bit of taste. has been better in the past. sent back 2 Arriabata's and they came back too spicy to eat! starters and drinks were fine.

Awful! Felt like it was everyone’s first time working. Not even acknowledging the birthday note for the booking. Drinks sitting on the bar for 20 minutes diluting and dirty plates/glasses not collected- ignoring tables and then having the cheek to add service charge. Not sure what would warrant 10% when your waiter is annoyed and throws metal trays next to your table to let us know how inconvenient it is for him to remove it! And then going over complaining to his colleagues and manager. Unpleasant, foul attitude and no service skill. Top tip from fellow industry professionals- next time go to more covered area to moan about your tables maybe don’t do it in the eyesight of said customer. :)) Will never recommend to anyone.

Food was lovely but service wasn't great, had to wait ages after our main to be asked if we wanted dessert. It just felt like our server didn't really care about us. It was our first time here and it will be our last.

The wait time was very long for food and drinks , my drinks sat on the bar for 10 mins until I got up to get them myself......the staff were super friendly but I felt they were massively understaffed.

We received a voucher from Prezzo, two for one on mains, so booked a table. Greeted within seconds of entering and took to our table which was a booth. Served by Anna who engaged well enough to make us feel very comfortable. Anna helped guide us through the menu, and we made some choices that looked good. Anna was attentive and served our food with enthusiasm. Food was really nice and a bottle of wine too. A positive experience. Will definitely be going back. Thank you, Prezzo Leicester and Anna.

Very good customer service, smiling employees, they greet customers nicely. Our orders were handled by Sylwia - if I remember correctly. Very nice lady. The wait for food was a bit long, but we were hungry, and when you're hungry, time goes by slower. 😉

We ate yet again at the lovely Prezzo Italian on Meridian last Sunday evening. As always the staff are great and our table ready. The problem was with the next multi-seated table. There were several 'younger children' probably aged say 8-13 and only one female adult with them. The noise they generated was immense. I noticed that several diners were looking at them and feeling quite uncomfortable. My fiance was beginning to sit with her fingers in her ears as the noise increased. Seemingly that there was no other way, I rotated and in a firm but not in a shouting way requested to the table personnel please just drop the volume of their conversations from the screaming levels it had now reached. In all fairness our waitress did offer for us to move tables, whilst kind that was not the point and certainly not necessary. I did manage to get the noise reduced quite a bit. It really was down to the single adult to control her entourage and teach them a few simple manners. The meal itself was beautiful, extremely tasty and after a slight intervention by whom I assumed was the manager, a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere was restored for the diners. This however will not prevent us from revisiting this lovely restaurant again and again. The food and service are of the highest order for which we thank them.

Not sure if it was because of a party, unfortunately the food was awful pasta over cooked, mushy and starchy hardly any carbonara sauce the tenderstem broccoli was limp, garlic sticks were that hard you could bang it on the table and it wouldn’t break

We had a 1.00pm booking for 4 people Polite efficient and friendly staff Food was very good with very little waiting time between courses. We were the last to leave in the middle of the afternoon but the staff were very good with no mention of asking us to leave. Will definitely return

2nd time recently we’ve sat at our table feeling very uncomfortable because the chef was being very shouty, loud and abusive to the young serving staff who were clearly trying their best. We had mains brought to the table prior to starters and were asked if we wanted them “together “. We had to drink water because there was no draught beer, then you ran out of bottled beer!!! Very, very slow service with some of us waiting for mains after others had finished eating. Drinks arriving ‘after’ we had finished eating. Sorry, really poor tbh felt sorry for polite young waiting staff trying their best but clearly being shouted at and harassed because of management incompetence

Prezzo used to be my favorite place but last 5 times was absolute disaster. Food is getting worse, portions are getting smaller, the chicken in my salad last time was cremated and so dry. The "salad" had just a handful of lettuce and very weird sauce. Last night we were waiting more than 1 hour for just a goat cheese salad and a burger. We told the staff to cancel our order and walked out.

Super experience ! Came along for a little lunch with the dogs today and have to say what a super visit, they gave a little dog bowl for water, and the food was perfect. Me and my husband even had a free dessert from rock paper scissors ✂️

Booked table for 19:00 arrived at 18:55 still waiting for any food at 19:45. Plus two tables of 5 and 2 before us waiting Is this the new Prezzo you were raving about Pathetic

Have been several times now and everything is perfect. Wonderful staff. Gorgeous food, great atmosphere. I highly recommend this Wonderful Italian restaurant to anyone who has not been. You will not be disappointed. The new young girl server is doing great and such an asset to this place as are all of the staff.thankyou for another lovely evening

The food is always worth coming for, very tasty and high quality. Service can be hit and miss. If it’s quiet, you sometimes get forgotten about and weirdly if its busy service improves. Had to get knives and forks for the table next to us as their meal had arrived but they had no cutlery.

I had an excellent meal and experience when I visited recently, the new menu was fabulous, I felt like I was in Italy, so impressed. The service was also amazing, the servers couldn’t do enough! I can’t wait to return.

Had a good visit, food was excellent, Prosecco for 99p per glass via special offer. Our server Euen was very friendly and efficient. We will,of course, be back.

Not many people in the restaurant yet the service to take our order was slow and also to pay our bill we had to go up to the counter…and then to top it off a service charge was added…didn’t pay it! Food was ok, have had better from nearby italian restaurants.

Service was all over the place and we could see one of our starters was just sitting at the counter to come over to us but didn't till our mains by which time it had gone cold

You're lucky to get one star!! Booked a table there and arrived on time and were seated promptly where we sat for 30 minutes waiting to order a drink before our meal. We were ignored by all the staff for this 30 minutes so we got up and left. We will never go there again especially as it resembles a cafeteria now rather than a restaurant. Rude staff and no courtesy.

This is not my first visit to Prezzo at all but full restaurant in and out very good atmosphere and vibe. Brilliant weather make our visit even better excellent food and drink well done

We attended the 99p mains event (when you purchase a drink) and it was awful! never again! screaming kids, not enough staff, very long wait for food which wasn't that nice when it arrived 😢 we didn't enjoy it all unfortunately. Certainly not the usual standard!

Had a lovely meal really enjoyed it, food was very tasty, service was great couldn’t of asked for anything better.

This is my 1st time at a prezzo's for a few years , and then it was just an average experience. But wow, here, today I realised they have upped their game, or was it just here?. The service from the moment we walked in, to the moment we walked out, was absolutely spot on. Our server (whose name I forget, let's just call her, the blonde one) was exceptional. The food was delivered in good time, and presented perfectly and absolutely delicious. 💯 will be back here, and I can't recommend it enough.

Too expensive for what it is especially for main dishes

First time here and the food was great. The only issue was the wait between starters and mains was in excess of an hour. Think we was forgot about. The server apologised and got it sorted.

Went there for mothers day where are mum was running 10 mins late staff started saying where r they as they need table bk at a certain time no mention of this when booking service was terrible drinks too years food even longer we had to remind staff we had ordered had to send puddings back. We refused to pay the service charge. Well safe to say we won't be bk oh and if they say it was busy well staff for the bookings u have then not rocket science.

I brought my daughter here for a meal for her 16th birthday. It was a busy Saturday with a large party which meant wait times were a little longer but our sever Anna was fantastic! The meal was delicious and they even gave my daughter a free birthday dessert.

Staff were very good and very professional, particularly Anna who was very helpful and explained everything to us as it was our first time at Prezzo, would visit again, using the discount voucher is a must and a good idea

Had a fabulous meal everything was perfect. And Sylvia was very pleasant and lovely and accommodating .

Ended up at prezzo for my wife's birthday a bit randomly, as she thought it looked ok from the outside. Restaurant was rather busy, as you would expect on a Saturday night, but not full. The welcome was slow, as we waited a good few minutes at the desk, and were greeted by a rather cold waitress, who sat us right next to a table of 6, despite other quieter ones available. A bit annoying. The other waitress who was looking after our table came by to get our drinks order. She was cold, looked irritated from the start, and borderline rude. Absolutely zero customer service in her. Kept dragging her feet when walking around the restaurant instead of walking like a normal person, which I find extremely irritating. My wife ordered a cocktail, and I opted for a glass of wine. Without being asked what size, I ended up with a large one. That's perhaps down to cultural differences, but I would have liked a regular. Kept it quiet as I didn't want to ruin my wife's dinner meal. We ordered 2 starters. Italian meatballs and a bruschetta. The meatballs were good. The so called 'bruschetta' wasn't. It was a piece of pizza bread served with poorly cut, unripe, unseasoned tomatoes without any signs of onions or garlic, and served with some sort of pesto. Disappointing. We now move on to the meals. I had a large Gorgonzola & prosciutto pizza, whilst my wife had the spinach & ricotta cannelloni. Pizza was ok. The dough was good and correctly cooked. Not enough gorgonzola and prosciutto in my opinions (main ingredients according to the menu) and was served with balsamic onions that were overly sweet and quite overpowering for my liking. Rocket salad added a touch of welcome freshness to add some balance. Cannelloni was underwhelming. It was small, served with a thin sauce which didn't cover the pasta (supposedly 'fresh') that ended up being quite dry from the oven. Filling was unseasoned and felt a little on the dry side as well. The overall service was pretty poor. 3 staff members felt a little too short despite not having a full restaurant, and the chef kept on ringing the bell several times before orders were being picked up for service. Waitress apologised for the wait when serving us though. When we finished our plates, no one came to clear the table or ask if we wanted anything else. We then decided to get up and pay at the bar directly as a result. To my surprise, there was a 10% tip hidden in the bill labelled 'Service charge'. This is just poor practice. Any customer who does not review the bill before paying will accept this tip unknowingly. I find it unacceptable to try to pass on an extra charge to your customers despite offering such a poor service and overall experience. At least have the decency to ask and label it correctly. The footnote reads as such : 'If you'd like to leave a tip, this will be shared with everyone working in our restaurant today, meaning nothing is kept by the business. A discretionary 10% service charge is automatically added to all tables.' Tried it once, never again.

Had the new meatball Italian pizza it was subtle in flavour I would say, I think the Giuseppe is more my favourite but I recommend people try the new meatball Italian just to know for themselves. The server was attentive if not slightly busy throughout as it was the lunch rush. The dessert menu looked lovely too to be honest.

Came here for a quick lunch. The waitress was great and spaghetti carbonara was delicious.Will definitely be coming back!

They don't have much of a vegan selection. The mains were delicious but the starters were not great, they just tasted like your standard store brought items. In terms of drinks, the cherry mocktail was delicious too!

Very sad. Normally love Prezzos but this was not good. Starter was cold, main course, far too much rigatoni, not enough sauce and only just short of cold. Dogs have got a good breakfast!!!

Food was cold. Portion of chips was very small, squashed and rolled into a bag. Delivery time was updated after order to be 20 minutes later and then still didn’t arrive at that time

Nandos was full so grabbed one of the last tables on a busy Friday night. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the festive set menu... absolutely delicious and well worth the money.

Great place with, good atmosphere, staff were really friendly and helpful. On arrival noticing we had a child offered a baby seat and sat us near the toilets and baby changing facilities. Food-wise, food was amazing, it may be frowned upon to order a burger in an Italian, but the patties were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. For non-alcoholic drinks, the wild strawberry was delightful. Deffo recommended for dates, and family meals.

The staff were friendly and the food was nice. My friend who I was with, who is gluten free had a variety to choose from.

Ate there last night, both of us having the Saltimbocca Chicken Sage. The meat was pretty chewy and tough. Overall the dish was poor value for the price.

A nice place with delicious Italian cuisine. Very good pizza with fresh ingredients. The Gorgonzola & Prosciutto pizza stole my heart (£17). Very pleasant service - 10% service added to the bill.
