Prezzo in Bracknell Forest

I've reviewed this restaurant before but after a fantastic meal last night am reviewing it again. Usually go with the whole family but yesterday went with my husband for his birthday and we had the best burger (him beef, me chicken) with delcious truffle oil fries that we can remember! Also had fried Mozzarella and prawn and gnochi starters which were enjoyed too. Our server was very pleasant and helpful , the drinks were cold, the atmosphere was good (it was quite busy for a Tuesday evening) and service was quick. Am definitely going to return soon. I have a taste card so get the advantage of 2 for 1 midweek but if we fancy a meal at the weekend I am happy to come here and pay full price. Was looking to see why the 1 star reviews and most of them seem to date from a period around Sept/October 2021 when they maybe had staffing problems, would recommend you give it a chance if you haven't been before.

Visited for dinner with my husband. We are foodies! Food was good, he had the pizza while I had a seafood pasta. Would recommend but would prefer the service to be quicker and for the staff to be a little more welcoming.

Have been a couple of times as I love a good Prezzo. Found it hit and miss because sometimes the food is really good and you get good service but on the last 2 occasions, overcooked food arrived at our table and the service was not with a smile!!

Have been cutting back on my lunches this year but as out for Xmas Shopping decided time to visit one of my favourites. Staff friendly, quick and attentive. Nice menu. Had the Italian Hummus as starter, unusual but good and loved the flat bread. Main was the lunctime version of Penne Rusticana, excellent, well cooked with a nice sauce, good size. Washed down with a large house Sangiovese. Worth the vsit, £26

My family of 4 went to prezzo for a family meal today. It was very busy and we were given the last table, the table service was expected to be slow because of how busy it was however it took over an hour for our first course to come and the waiters were very unhelpful. They never asked how our meal was going or asked if we needed anything, they messed up our order and forgot our salad. The food was average, tasted like it was made in a microwave. It was very plain and had what looked like zero seasoning or herbs. The bill was far too expensive for the quality of our food, we ended up paying a lot for overpriced wine. At prezzo, they don't care about customers. Apart from that, the restaurant looked very nice and it had a good atmosphere.

I could not explain how lovely it was. Me and my mother went to this restaurant and had such a pleasure! The staff were lovely and our food was delicious! I had a margarita pizza and some water and I believe my mother had calamari? I don't know but either way, it was a lovely time! We were seated near the table with the fake tree, but oh how I loved the fairy lights! Lovely decor AMAZING food and certainly LOVELY staff! Could not ask for a better experience. :) And for the people saying the staff were rude and they were shouting, you may have had a different experience but for us it was probably the best service we have ever had!

Very very slow service. 15 mins for drinks order to be taken, food arrived 20 mins later then 45 mins between starter plate collection and main arriving! Food was ok.

We went to prezzo today, a group of 3 teachers and 4 Sen students with autism. Monika the assistant manager was fantastic. She gave the students time and went above and beyond to help. The food was fabulous, especially the garlic bread with balsamic onions and cheese and the king prawn spaghetti! Everyone had a brilliant time, with lots of life skills used! Good menu, friendly staff, wasn't very busy when I arrived. Lucky as shortly after they were telling people of a 40 minute wait although place was less than half full, I suppose staff shortages still affecting them. Starter took some time as the "kitchen" staff had forgot, not a good start. The Calamari starter was really nice, great coating and lovely soft calamari with a nice dip. Went for a pizza (regular) for main, mushroom and mascarpone, good size and really tasty. 2 large house reds to wash it all down. £34.

There was a lady working who was lovely, a new guy who was trying really hard he took our order and put notes for the extras but it didnt go through so we were served plain which we just got on and ate. The most terrible thing that happened was then the manager decided to sit at a table just behind us and gave a disapllinary meeting. He had a horrible tone with the staff member and was very patronising but worse of all it was in the resturant where not only other customers but all his colleagues could hear what should be a confidential meeting. I understand being late has a huge impact on the team and is unprofessional but VLAD then having a meeting unconfidential for everyone to hear he lost all credibility and professionalism. I have managed many of team and think it was outragious. I had no one to complain to at the time as he was the senior member of staff . The staff member who was having the meeting looked embarassed and intimidated. Having to listen to the length of the meeting while finishing our meal spoiled our whole experience.

Have "tried" to visit this Prezzo a few times recently but either closed or restricted service. Not very busy, but not surprising really. Pleasant and helpful staff, good menu. Large house wine whilst looking at menu. Decided on the meatballs for starter, excellent, great flavour, well cooked, tomato sauce was lovely, nice portion. Spaghetti Carbonara for main, again well cokked and tasty, good size as well. Well worth the visi. £25.70

Love prezzos it’s the best Italian chain around. Food never disappoints and with taste card discount it’s such amazing value for money. Came in with the whole family and we had a lovely meal. Was such a chilled atmosphere that we sat chilling and drinking after we had finished our food. The staff even charged our phone when the battery went flat.

New Year new round of lunches. One of my favourite restaurants. Good menu, well cooked and decent size. Place was busy but service was good. Started with Garlic bread with balsamic onion and mozzarella, followed by Chicken and asparagus risotto. Cooked to perfection, creamy and loads of flavour. We both enjoyed our food which was good quality. I love Seabass and Prezzo serve that with a very interesting mix of vegetables. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant.

A good large pizza to share and two side salads with a large bottle of sparkling water and lime. Followed up with a combo coffee and canolli dessert all for £32. My Husband and I visited this Prezzo last night. Saturday 19)10/19 after a day at Ascot.

Popped in this evening for some dinner with my partner. We were seated really quickly and was offered drinks straight away (a plus in my books). We had the pizza bites to share as a starter, which were amazing. I had the tri calzone and he had a make your own pizza. Food was really tasty and came out very quick. We also shared the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for desert, which was also lovely. Our waitress Jayde was brilliant. Will definitely be coming back again!! Well done

Wow, paid for a takeaway and ended up with sub standard food.

We stopped here because we had a great experience at the Prezzo in Canterbury. As it turns out not all chefs and wait staff are created equal. The food was just okay and the wait staff was overworked and unable to keep up as they should. The service was lacking. I would recommend trying a different restaurant.

We chose here as it was on our 241 meerkat deal! We had a lovely meal and although for midweek daytime the service was slow it was the last week on summer holidays so had a small bit of sympathy.

Came to go to Zizzi but was told there was a long wait for food. Nice to be told before being searted, so popped opposite to Prezzo (had a 40% off main for them anyway), short of staff so thought should have gone to Zizzi, but after a short felay to be seated and order taken it was plain sailing. Walked in off the street and while they couldnt seat us immediately, place was hopping, we got sorted quickly. Food was fab, portions are massive, server was so nice and really helpul. Lovely spot and was perfect for our family meal after a long day out..price was fair and combined with a loyalty voucher from their website made it very reasonable. Would definetely go back!

Having just moved to the area I dropped into two other venues looking for dinner between work appointments and it seemed far too hard for them to provide a gluten free menu; which being Celiac is always a concern. Prezzo's menu makes life super easy, food was delicious and speedy delivery (perfect for me as I was under a time restraint). Jayde was my server and she provided wonderful warm but professional service. Thanks alot !

We had booked a table as it was our wedding anniversary. Had to wait for about 10 minutes after we arrived to be seated when it didn't look any busy. The staff appeared very busy, not smiling, didn't say anything about the wait, looked over worked and unfriendly. There were people waiting in the line behind us who looked frustrated as well. I was expecting a little special treatment as I had mentioned about our anniversary twice at the time of booking and also at the time of pushing the table by 15 minutes due to delays. The food was great as always at Prezzo but this was a bad experience. This was the first time we went to this outlet in Bracknell but will probably avoid the next time.

We arrived 15 mins before our booking time, but the Floor manager said we could not be served until the booked time, although we could sit at the table. This was because the restaurant was apparently full, which did not happen the whole time that we were there.

Had an appointment at the opticians. First time visiting since the opening. Lovely day so lunch sitting outside watching the world go by. Very friendly and attentive staff, nice menu. Large white house wine, really nice and salmon penne. Very flavourful, good size. A really pleasant lunch, even had a 40% off food voucher, what more could you want. £13.12. We had two very good adult meals but felt the child's meal was very disappointing.

I had the pepper and goat chees pizza which was very colourful and tasty. The side salad was also colourful with a good mix of ingredients. The staff are friendly and will definitely be back.

The waitress was an absolute angel tending to our needs and she was very attentive. The food was delicious and came out fast. No faults. Don’t miss a visit.

Originally we were hoping to visit Zizzi's however it was complete shambles - so we ended up at Prezzo which was a blessing in disguise!

My first visit to Prezzo was very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly especially to my great niece and great nephew who are nine years old. The restaurant is nice and spacious. Food was really good and all the family enjoyed the choices they made. Would definitely go back when I visit my family who live in Bracknell.

I was in a group of 10 using ‘Wowcher’ vouchers. If they’re going to offer these deals then they need to be geared up to accept them. Apart from that, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Offering garlic bread which is pizza dough and bruschetta which is also pizza dough.... really? The mains were good, desserts ok. Service very slow - they were busy but shouldn’t they have enough staff to cope with a busy Friday night? Rather noisy. Sorry for negativity but feel I need to be honest

Fantastic meal, great service and friendly staff. We weren’t rushed at all but allowed to go at our own pace especially when needing a break between courses!

Four of us dined at Prezzo on Friday night and were very happy with the quality of service despite it being such a busy time. Jasmine and Izzy were fantastic and had great knowledge of the menu.

My son and I had dinner here on Thursday evening. It was a bit busy. Service was good. Food prompt. A bit more variety on the menu for kids is a takeaway point but it was a nice place for a quick dinner.

Had lunch there today with my husband .Both had the Rusticanna,very mediocre. My main issue was that none of the staff looked as if they wanted to be there ,not a smile from any of them.It takes less muscles to smile than frown Bracknell Prezzo staff!

As far as they pretend to be an Italian cuisine style. I had a chicken with mushrooms that was very good, but my colleagues' dishes were not very attractive for me and (but this is my personal taste) smell of garlic. Service ok.

First visit here and a very warm welcome from the Manager Nick. There on in it was downhill all the way from the waiter named Arthur. Totally disinterested in the customer, no eye contact, no smiles. Shame as restaurant was not remotely busy. Dinner plates taken away but no offer of desserts. Overall the food was nicely presented but experience was ruined by said waiter. Informed Nick of our concerns and he was more than happy for our feedback. To summarise would go back as long as service improves.

I decided to take my mum out for a late lunch and ended up having a really great time. Our waiter Alex made sure we had everything we needed, being friendly and efficient. The food was fantastic. Excellent food, excellent service, and a lovely time with my mum ☺️

We always choose to come here for an Italian and it never fails to impress. However, tonight was the best service we have had thanks to Izzy, she was extremely attentive and quick to serve.

Monday evening(Mar 25th) and my 3 year old son was in a mood to have pizza and me being away my wife decided to take him to Lexicon straight after work.

A frozen ready meal is nicer than your prawn risotto... your staff were extremely nice however...Shame about the food!

Lovely meal after a trip to Cineworld. Fairly full after popcorn so just had a mains. Big tasty portions of chicken with spaghetti in a carbonara sauce and a tre carne calzone. New to the menu and superb. Lots of filling and with a nice salad. Fantastic pizza dough as usual. I recommend eating the crimping drizzled with oil infused with chilli.

We had a young girl called Izzy as our waitress and she made us feel very welcome. Got our drinks in a timely fashion, was polite and offered advice about the menu. I chose the lamb ragu. We had our starters but had to wait nearly an hour afterwards for our main. Izzy kept checking in on us and apologising for the delay. At the kitchen window, the manager just stood there for long periods of time, not offering any help or direction, just standing there. It was quite busy and clearly the staff needed some help! Eventually we got our mains but my pasta was very undercooked (still hard in places) so Izzy made sure it got fixed without any further delay. The manager didn’t once apologise to us or seemingly try to help the situation, despite having to pass us every time he went to the bar/till. The bar saw our problems and ensured we had plenty of drinks while we waited. We had a pleasant dessert and coffee to end. Oh

Girls night out was made even more pleasant by our wonderful waitress - Izzy!!! She was so accommodating, professional and attentive to us, so made the service excellent. Unfortunately not quite as good on the food side - my risotto was too salty and the main meals took far too long at nearly 50 minutes to come out. Luckily Izzy was there to keep us informed and getting us more rounds of drinks.

We were a group of 20 and we were lucky enough to have an excellent waiter, Eddie who looked after us so well. He was very patient and the service was great. Really good food and a really great atmosphere. Definitely would recomment for a big group dinner!

I wanted to write this review to thank Daniel in particular for making my daughter’s birthday dinner so wonderful. She and 9 other children had dinner here after going to build a bear and Daniel did everything possible to make it a perfect party! He was so attentive with each child, remembering what they had ordered, he got the food out quickly and helped with the cake cutting etc. I cannot thank him enough. I’d absolutely recommend Prezzo in Bracknell.
