The best red velvet cake I’ve ever had and still is to this day. The fry and coffee is very good here too. Wish I lived close by.

The irish breakfast was one of the best that I had in Belfast. The service was fast and the food was amazing. Don’t forget to try their desert.

We always have our lunch here every wednesday and we always get their barbecue ribs combo. Great taste and value for money! They also have a variety of cakes! Most Asians come here due to it's purple and green cakes! Try their Red Velvet cake when you visit.

Excelente comida, muy barato. Gran servicio rápido y las instalaciones limpias. Es una lástima que no se abren en un fin de semana porque me comería aquí todo el tiempo! Establecimiento maravilloso.

The food is very nice and the service is friendly and welcoming! The prepared sandwiches are very nice and you can have fresh sandwiches made to order. There is a few times that my order has been slightly wrong, and maybe a better system for taking orders is needed but otherwise there are no faults!

Had a great time here and it's so appropriately priced for a student area! I love the wee fry you can get, it's perfect before uni! Staff are so lovely and the wifi is good!

Definitely a brilliant place to eat in South Belfast, especially the Holylands area. I have been here so many times and I have never been disappointed. Brilliant spot, can't find a single fault other than I wish it was bigger and open later.

Over recent decades, some things have deteriorated in Botanic when it comes to cafés and food: the Other Place, which did generous portions and student discounts back in the day, has closed; places like Clements have seen the standard of their sandwiches drop. Big chains, like Café Nero, have good coffee but lots of pre-made versions of the ham and cheese sandwich that are okay for a quick bite but not so good if you want something more nutricious. With its great food, lovely atmosphere and exceptionally friendly and attentive service, Sahara is a great alternative. They always have freshly cooked specials that arrive with an abundance of fresh bread and the staff will come back to ask if you want anything more. Great spot for the tourist and locals / local workers alike.

Very weird experience, felt like we were bothering the staff by coming in. No clear menu to sit and look through, it’s all behind the counter so the staff stare at you while you quickly have to decide what to get, even though I was unfamiliar with the place. Was told where we had to sit as well, which was more awkward while we waited for dessert as it was right next to the staff at counter so could talk comfortably with my husband as they could hear every word. Won’t be back. Food was pretty average and I could make it at home for quarter of cost. Wooden display cabinet was nice, decor was nice, atmosphere was strange.
