We often stay away for work, and normally stay at premier Inn. those I have stayed at have been a bit, well, meh. This hotel is completely different. From the friendly staff, to the hot breakfast it really was a good stay and maybe, just maybe, will premier inn make its way back onto the approved stay list once again! From checkin, the two receptionists were so lovely, really welcoming and just down to earth, not prissy or rude as has been my experience elsewhere. There was a drama with the website where we couldn’t book online (the whole of the estate apparently) but they got us set up in no time. Evidently there’s a new system in place? I have a feeling HQ might regret that choice later down the line - if we hadn’t have already been at the hotel and working directly adjacent, we likely would have stayed elsewhere and so would many other people. Dinner time next and I went for the meal deal and despite the upgrades value for money was spot on. Can’t normally rave about branded establishments’ food but you can really fugg up a mixed grill but this was so tasty, grilled properly not just thrown in the merry. I could tell some love went into the meals. The service was spot on too, beer was good as well - the Atlantic is an obvious choice for me and was cold and clean. Breakfast was also spot on. I’m a slow burner in the morning so require deep caffeination as soon as reasonably practicable and the lovely girl behind the counter made sure I could access the coffee machine before needing to form any complex sentences. Service was, well, self, but that’s what I like but normally you find the staff having a good ol gossip and aren’t really interested. Not here, all friendly, considerate when around us eating, like not having a party with the plates and cutlery in your earhole kind of considerate and just generally nice friendly staff. Overall, gold standard premier inn experience so please, area managers, get your hotel staff to stay here so they know how it’s done. Shoutout to Nancy and Yvonne, with Dillon (with his perfect eggs) as well nett and Eva on reception for getting us checked in the old school way, despite the system faults stopping them from booking two rooms. Normally, most premier inns would have just taken it verbatim and done “computer says no” but they knew their occupancy, and knew that they had rooms available so pressed forward and got us in. Nett especially (who we actually dealt with) really excelled - it’s sometimes the little things and after a 4 hour drive it’s nice to have a friendly face. Thanks team!

Food here is usually great and we eat here regularly. Most of our group had a good meal. Sadly mine was awful. I wanted the prawn kebab but they had sold out. instead I ordered the veg kebab which had about 50P worth of soggy cold veg on it with a £4.99 side order of 'garlic prawns' ...this consisted of 2 cold rubbery prawns which hadnt seen any garlic butter in a long time !! Not one to make a fuss so i ate it, but suggest they do better in future ! Also the toilets desperately need a refurb. The smell of stale urine hits you as you as you enter the toilet block. It has been like this for at least 18months and i have mentioned it to waiting staff previously ! It seems to be engrained in the carpets and tiles which need replacing !

The Beefeater next door does good drink and food, nice breakfast. The taste of the sausages and black pudding were perfect for my liking. The rooms are a little dark, but plenty of little lights to turn on. Good shower!

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel as part of a recent visit to the U.K and were very impressed. The staff at reception were genuinely friendly and only too happy to be of assistance whenever possible. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with an excellent shower and a supremely comfortable bed which we slept beautifully in. The staff at the Beefeater restaurant next door were lovely and made us really welcome each morning for breakfast. The buffet breakfast was delicious and you could go back for more as many times as you like. There was ample free parking on site. Our only minor criticism would be that people drinking at the restaurant bar tended to congregate outside for a cigarette and could get a bit noisy, which generally didn’t abate till around 11 pm. It might be a good idea to book one of the rooms situated furthest from reception if this has the potential to disrupt your sleep.

This hotel is very tired. The decor in the rooms needs updating. The dust and muck in the corners needs attention.

Staff always friendly great location rooms always clean, room can get a little warm but room is supped with a fan which is great, always stay here when visiting family in Wolverhampton. Would not hesitate to recommend

Good food for good prices, though I have had a couple of times the food hasn't been up to its standards, along with one unfortunate insident where something I am severely allergic to was on pizza. So I would advise making them say the order back to you to confirm and of course checking your food before you eat.

Me and my friend ordered from this Nandos yesterday and they didn’t have enough pastels de nata for us, so they gave us a free slice of cheesecake instead with a note explaining it, which was so kind and thoughtful. Thank you!!

Not used the Swan in years but popped in today as passing by. Got a really friendly welcome from the bar staff and was served the best pint of Guinness that I've tasted in a while . The whole pub was comfortable and welcoming with table laid out for pub games, Dominoes/cards etc. 2 screens showing live football and a good selection of drinks. I will definitely be going back as after only an hour in there I felt like a regular. Can't wait to get back down there

Took over an hour and a half to deliver less than 2 miles away. Time kept changing. wouldn't have ordered if I'd known it would take this long. Rang the restaurant 15 minutes after just eats claimed it was delivered. claimed it was two minutes away. That was 10 minutes ago. Have given up and made toast. If you must eat here, don't bother with delivery.
