If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be served a dish that resembles a toddler’s weaning menu rather than a Thai delicacy, look no further than the Premier Inn in Warwick. I ordered what was described as a “Green Thai Curry” – which apparently translates to a scoop of plain rice, a couple of weary carrot slices, and the crushing disappointment of false hope. The curry sauce? Nonexistent. The spice? Missing in action. The flavour? Still being searched for by a crack team of culinary archaeologists. But the entertainment didn’t stop at the food. The restaurant itself resembled a live episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Diners were left waiting, waitstaff looked genuinely startled by the concept of serving food, and the atmosphere could only be described as “chaotic optimism” – the kind where everyone’s hoping for the best while watching everything fall apart. A nearby father tried to raise a complaint, only to be met with a level of indifference that should be studied by sociologists. The staff were clearly overwhelmed and appeared to be operating on vibes alone. In summary: if you’re craving Green Thai Curry, this place will deliver… but only if your benchmark is “baby food with ambition.” Bring snacks, patience, and a good sense of humour.

Avoid this place unless you want food poisoning I ordered the mixed grill on my first night and paid extra to upgrade to the 8oz steak. What I got didn’t resemble any steak I’ve ever seen—it looked more like the gammon that was already on the plate (and no, it wasn’t an extra piece). It looked like it had been boiled in hot water. Like a fool, I ate it even though it didn’t taste quite right. Lesson learned. To make matters worse, the chips that came with the meal were stone cold. I even got the impression that some of the staff knew how bad it all was—they looked mildly embarrassed when they served it. Sure enough, the following morning that steak made a return. The service didn’t help the experience either. The guy in charge told us they had no lemons, yet moments later he was offering lemon slices to other guests. When I asked, I was given a piece of lime that looked like it had been run over in the flooded road right outside. To top it all off, I had to change rooms because the HDMI port in the wall and all three on the TV didn’t work. I will not be staying here again.

I have stayed at several premier inns before so have an idea of what to expect. Unfortunately this hotel fell short of the usual premier inns standards and I hope that this was due to it being busy (Easter) rather than premier inn standards falling in general. We stayed in a family room but it was only stocked with items for 2 so had to repeatedly go down to ask for things eg: another towel; another cup and more toilet paper. Breakfast was extremely busy and there was not enough food - we were seated at 9am (the sofa didn’t have a cushion to sit on - we were sat on the base!) and there were no pastries left- when we asked we were told they had run out. There were more people arriving so I feel sorry for anyone who was going to come down at 10….the cooked breakfast did get refilled but they were struggling to keep up with demand so people were hovering waiting for eggs etc to be brought out. Finally and probably most importantly we are used to staff being polite helpful and friendly. Whilst some of the staff were polite they all just seemed incredibly stressed . My husband had a nose bleed and we realised there was no toilet paper left - when I went down to reception to ask for more the staff member said - you will have to ask someone in the restaurant I am too busy, it’s just me here. Very disappointing overall compared to previous experience.

We love Premier Inn anyway but this one was really really good. Everything from rooms to service. Only thing I would say and it was a bit of a problem was, we are vegetarian and the choice on the menu for our evening meal was extremely limited. Other than that though, it was a lovely stay. The hotel was brilliant, we had no other issues at all.

We arrived Saturday 22 Feb for just one night. They were short staffed so nobody available to run the bar. We along with other families had to wait 1/2 hour to get served a drink. The restaurant was open for a few customers only and the food was mediocre. The breakfast in the morning was a shambles, no eggs or sausages ready. The bacon had a horrible taste to it like it had been put into a tray that was still tainted with cleaner. However despite this there are two staff who worked their socks off to try to cover all bases. Callum and Erin are a credit to the Hotel and should be recognised for outstanding customer service.

Warwick Premier Inn rooms are wonderful! The restaurant next door is so busy you will wait a LONG time between food and drinks for no fault of the staff but Premier Inn not employing enough staff. They are ALL super friendly, helpful. Magde was the best. Patient, calm and understanding. PREMIER INN YOU NEED MINIMUM 6 X STAFF HERE!!!

The room was clean. While we have been here for 4 nights in February. The hotel have been short staffed. On the first morning, there was no pastries at breakfast. On second morning, no bread, no porridge, the tea/coffee machine was not working, no milk. The hot food, I had to ask them to top up the beans, because there ran out. The second night we were there, we ate at the pub at the hotel. We waited over an hour for our food, in that time they had only brought chicken gougons and drinks out. They did end up wavering the cost of the whole meal, because of the bad service. I would not recommend this hotel. We will not be staying here again. We stop at a lot of premier inns, and they are normally nice. This is the worse we have stopped at. It is a shame because Warwick is a lovely area and the location is great, near Warwick Castle.

But like now room freezing heating turned of must be an energy thing this is my 2nd week in 6 weeks staying here I’ve to do another week in 2 weeks time I’m dreading it but I’m bringing blow heaters with me next time it’s terrible.

Fast friendly check in and clean comfortable rooms in a nice location convenient for Warwick. Why only 2 stars? Because when I checked in at 6pm I wasn’t told the earliest available restaurant table was 10:15pm, meal deal abandoned and took the Just Eat gamble, shame as premier in restaurants and check in information is usually great.

Worst Premier Inn in the entire UK. Staff are are bone idle. Customer service is non existent. Room wasn’t cleaned, asking for fresh towel was if I was asking in mandarin, ordered food on night 1 which took 45 mins to arrive, second night waited over an hour then gave up and just left. Only 5 people in the restaurant so I just don’t understand how it could go all wrong.

Stayed here a few times for business. Fairly standard Premier Inn, nothing really to complain about but could do with a bit of an update. Parking used to be free, but a payment machine has now been installed. Finding a space also isn’t easy as the car park always seems over capacity, with cars often parking on the kerb near the entrance. There is a business park directly across the road where you can park overnight with no issue, but not sure if this would be acceptable during the daytime. Location is quiet, but very far from any shops or restaurants.

The hotel itself is what you expect from a premier Inn. Basic but done well. Bed was comfortable, shower hot and as expected, no one around for check in but the machines worked so no issue. Taxi into Warwick is about £8. The reviews where people complain about only having one key, you can request a second or create one yourself from the machine. Rooms are warm so it's worth setting the temperature before you go out. We didn't eat dinner but did sit and have some drinks in the bar. The personal hygiene and presentation of some staff working the bar needs attention. We opted to have breakfast but we'd left it a bit late (10:30am). No one explained what we had to do. We expected the hot food to be to order (as we had experienced at other premier inns) but it was a hot buffet. As gluten free I was given the allergen book and I ordered but then was told to help myself to the buffet. The buffet wasn't hot but I expect it had been there a while. After eating that (about 20mins after ordering) we were given GF bread and vegan bacon (didn't order that). I'd say things need to be clearer but for £10.99pp we had plenty of food.

Worst meal yet at this hotels restaurant. Mixed grill included a quarter chicken breast 10 cm of gammon most of which was fat and a chewy steak. Poor service, radio blaring out of the kitchen and staff standing around talking instead of working. I have stayed here repeatedly since the hotel was built. Initially it was a quality hotel but since the pandemic has really gone down hill.

It was an ok Premier Inn. Decent bar and restaurant inside. Great location for local sightseeing, I'd recommend one of the premier plus rooms, though, as is with most hotels. Nobody can ever BE QUIET through the night / early morning. Why, oh, why can't British people shut doors quietly? Decent size car park, although there were a lot of double space parkers and the disabled bays, 3 of the 5 were taken by non displaying badge holders.

Drove 3 hours to this hotel to check in for a work meeting the following day. When I arrived I was told the restaurant on site was closed due to a shortage of staff. So I ordered pizza for my room from a local delivery service, when they called to say they were in reception I left to meet them. To my amazement when I got to the reception area the restaurant was open and fully working and quite busy. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Poor poor customer service that needs to be looked at!

I stayed here on New Year’s Eve and lost some expensive jewellery, I’ve been trying to ring them ever since (8 weeks) to see if there is a lost property, and no one has ever answered the phone no matter which extension I try.
