The least premier of the Premier inns we've stayed in. The rooms are a good size but they need refitting

Great hotel with good value for money. Near Earls Court Station (approx. 7 minutes walk). Travel time by train to Westminster is approx. 20 minutes. Kensington Garden approx. 18 minutes walk. Room was large for 3 people, clean with very comfortable beds. Cloakroom and small clothes rack available. Breakfast for us could have been a little more international, with more choice, but enough to take place. If desired, room cleaning can be ordered daily from reception. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. We would come again.

The staff is helpful and attentive. The hotel is very well located and very quiet. Breakfast is also very good. However, our room, although clean, overlooked the work and waste was left under our window. No furniture to store your belongings. No possibility of having separate beds.

Warned of ongoing external works but that didn’t bother us. Regardless of the scaffolding, it’s probably the worst Premier Inn room we have ever stayed in. Tiny, dark and cold basement room which had an awful sewage smell through our entire stay. Heating didn’t work so struggled to sleep as I was so cold. Room was tired and the facilities in desperate need of updating. Room was for a family of three of us but only two of everything was left out. Not enough towels, cups etc… We usually stay in Premier Inns as they provide excellent value for money but this room was awful and the sewage smell meant we couldn’t wait to check out. Chose for proximity to Albert Hall but would never come back. Shame to have to write a negative review. Gave it a few stars as staff seemed nice and we received a friendly welcome.

Let's start with the positive, because there is some: the staff are all lovely and helpful. But that's it. The hotel needs a refurb and is filthy. The food is just not good. The breakfast? Well, it's a joke, and not a very funny one. The WiFi? A comedian’s dream—it's laughably bad. And don't waste your money on their "super fast" WiFi; it’s slower than the free one. Overall, it's not a good hotel. Only go there if you have no other options.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting! Do not believe what you see in photos! The room was absolutely filthy! Full of mold and damp. Stank of urine! The bathroom was disgusting, dirty toilet, hairs all over. The drain was exposed in the bathroom. Broken furniture Room tiny, cramped and boiling hot with noisy building work. I don't know how they've stayed open!

A former comfort hotel that has been converted into a premier inn. This franchise is certainly quirky but not in a bad way. Like many hotels and guest houses in the area, the hotel is made of several houses that have been refitted together over time creating one large hotel. The hotel itself is situated on Cromwell road directly opposite the most expensive advertising billboard in the UK (allegedly). Cromwell road is extremely busy but from inside the hotel you do hear any of the road noise unless a blue light vehicle passes. The reception is typical premier inn no frills but efficient and does what it needs to do. Once inside there are few things that make this hotel inappropriate for some travelers. Firstly, the hotel (as mentioned) is the product of an adaptation. This, the corridors and access to the rooms is very narrow and somewhat confusing at first despite being well signed. Some rooms require you to climb small staircases in order to access rooms on the same level and those with restricted mobility may find this difficult. Secondly, there is a lift, however it's small and depending where your room is on the level (there are 3) once out of the lift you do still need to walk up and down corridors to access rooms. This did not bother us one bit as we are young and in good health but if this is not you, you might find this hotel a struggle. Once inside our room, we were amazed by its size. London hotels are typically very small but this family room was one of the largest I've stayed at having a decent amount of floor space, two single beds, and a double. Perfect for a family. The premier inn breakfast was great. Very much as expected and similar to all other premier inns. Good value and ample selection. Checking out was easy too - just place your card in the box. The one big issue the hotel has is WiFi. No matter where we're in hotel WiFi was none existent and these days that's going to be an issue for most people especially travellers with work and family links. If this was sorted out the hotel would be incredible. So if you need WiFi as a must.... You won't get this I'm afraid. Even if you pay for the premier inn ultimate WiFi. It won't happen. In summary, a decent stay with a few draw backs but for the price you won't find anywhere much better.

We stayed a few nights at the Kensington South Hotel for 3 days, the hotel has a great location near Earls Court tube station (handy for travelling to the main attractions) and the Earls Court high street that has loads of handy shops like Boots, M&S Food store, COOP, Macdonald's, KFC, Burger King to name a few, plus a couple of decent pubs. So location fantastic, the hotel is generally clean, great staff, one of the 2 lifts is not working so not the best! Food at the restaurant is really good to be fair, out only gripe is these little flys that kept jumping on our food. Bit yuk to be honest! Surely the hotel knows about this issue, they need to do something about it, another gripe is you cannot open the windows.. keep the air con on for airflow otherwise it gets very stuffy, apart from that, very good, probably not staying there again, it's the little fly's in the restaurant that did our head in!

We spent 3 nights here as part of our 20th wedding anniversary celebrations. Stayed in a Premier Plus room, which was on the 3rd floor and lovely and quiet. The hotel is easy to find and only 10 minute walk from Earls Court Tube station. The hotel is looking tired on the outside, but the rooms were lovely. We were treated to prosecco and chocolates, which was so nice. Remember to ask at reception every morning if you want to get your room serviced, as it's not automatic. The first couple of days there was only one lift working, and it had a mind of its own; stopping at every floor, going down instead of up and being a bit of a pain!

Great hotel for a city trip. Spacious family rooms with good beds. We had a room at the back of the hotel, which was very quiet. Close to the metro station. Breakfast buffet was fine, children eat free. Cleaning and change of towels on request and possible daily. We only missed a small refrigerator.

Had the worst experience ever at this hotel, Having stayed at many Premier inns in my time i thought this hotel would be like the others quiet comfy beds nice staff etc everything you would expect from this well known hotel. Well i completely got it wrong first of all the lift was out of order only 1 worked wifi never worked the service at the bar was a disgrace 3 people where on shift 9pm and we was the only ones at the bar waited 20 mins to get served and the guy that surved us looked anoyed that we wanted drinks but that was nothing compared to the next morning i woke up with my partner we both had bites and our skin was extremely itchy i looked at the bed sheets and was horrified at what i seen had to take pics else no one would believe me. i immediately went to reception where there was a Pakistani woman looking busy on the computer after waiting 5 mins she asked what i wanted which was rude i told her about the situation and she immediately told me to leave the hotel now i was in total shock my bags where in the room she wouldn't even allow me to get my bags after a few mins of me demanding my bags she stormed of downstairs to where my room was, 2 mins later my partner was escorted by her with our suitcases where she gave us a mouthfull this is totally unacceptable i dont no who she thinks she is and i didnt get her name the only way i could describe her when i rang there head office is she was pakistani with those fake lips woman sometimes have i hope for sure karma his this woman as i will never forget this bad experience

Stayed here for three nights for a trade show at Olympia. The rooms were clean and comfortable - you know what you get with a premier inn.

You must indicate that they clean your room, otherwise it is the fourth day when they do it.

If you get the right night this can be great value, only 5 minutes walk from Earls Court station, if you get a room at the front there is traffic noise

I went to Ukai & my drink was spiked this was a traumatic & triggering experience this review is really a last resort because on having reached out to Alex the manager relating to him how violated & anxious I felt. his reaction or lack there of really was quite shocking. A manager has a duty of care to existing & future clients safety...having felt paralyzed & frightened on the toilet floor I left without my keys/jacket managing to get a taxi. I'm not blaming the bar or manager however I believe as paying customers we all deserve to be acknowledged when in danger this could happen to anyone of us & if it does ,do not expect ANY support understanding or even a reply from UKAi's manager Alex. After four emails I have not been informed if my belongings have been found. At this point Alex you really are part of the problem. To everyone else please be careful & stay safe.

After hearing mixed reviews about this place i decided to try this afternoon tea. They have Halal and Gluten free options. Overall ambiance and decor of the place is nice and floral. Staff was attentive and kindly offered free a hot chocolate to the child. However it took then 35 mins to bring the food on the table despite the whole place being quite empty. We had one Gluten free and one regular afternoon tea. Afternoon tea itself was very presentable offering variety of teas and we tried three different teas, the nicest one was Masala Chai. Sandwiches were ok in taste albeit rather bland. Scones were fresh, tasty and light. Unfortunately the desserts were very average in taste and were very basic. They do not do refills which is unusual for an afternoon tea. There is definitively room for improvement.
