Glad to know that they recognise the sunflower lanyard, which is great and a nice surprise. The rooms are nice and the service was great, even if it was to just say hello when checking in and giving the room key back at check out Only a ten minute walk from the station and close to the city centre

Stayed overnight in late July. The main things to note are the staff were very friendly and it was also a cheap stay, only £50 for a room per night in the mid week. The hotel seemed quiet overall, there was cheap reduced parking in the multistory opposite and is in a good location for the city centre and docklands attractions. Negatives. Not much. The WIFI was very weak to the point of being useless and I wouldn't say the room was dirty but it did look like it could do with some new fixtures and fittings. Food was fine - again attentive staff on that front.

Lobby smelly strongly of mildew / mould. The young man who checked me in said 3 words to me, I did not feel welcomed. Room was clean enough but the table had a bunch of dried glue over it. Shower ventilation very loud. Bed comfortable.

I had a really bad experience at this hotel as as I arrived, my room was not ready and the big guy in reception made me feel very threatened as he came across very aggressive and had a frightening look on his face. When I arrived to my room. One bed was not made The manager was very helpful, but the big guy was honestly scary to even look at. He should be sacked from this job as has know hospitality I don’t really leave Reviews or like to put a place down, but I had to put this up as the experience was that bad. I never experienced this experience in any other Premier in your as I am a truck driver and I stay in Premier Inn a lot, but this was the worst so far.

My son & I stayed here for one night recently and found it perfectly OK. We arrived late morning but were told that our room would only be available from 15:00. No real problem. We stored our luggage in a room behind reception and came back later. Then, we checked in using the automatic check in system rather than join the queue of people who had obviously waited until 3 o'clock to get their rooms. Ours was on the 2nd floor and had been made up with one double bed and one single. The decor and furnishings are more or less identical to other hotels in this chain. I missed a fridge and decided to drink the tap water. I'm still alive. There was coffee and tea and a kettle and you can get more sachets down in the entrance area. The bathroom was small but adequate. The shower was in the bath tub. The Wifi worked on the day we arrived but not the next day. We were warned that they were doing some upgrade with it... Sound proofing wasn't ideal. I was woken up on a number of occasions in the night by elephants trampling about just above us. The location is great for visiting the town centre and the nearby Albert Docks. All good for a short visit.

Having stayed in numerous Premier Inns. This by far was not the cleanest, especially corridor carpets, our room itself and bathroom tired and just unclean looking.. Could do with better cleaners as our room carpet wasn't even hoovered for arrival. Very run down Premier Inn. Wouldn't waste your money! Location good that's it.

It's 10 min walk from lime Street train station. However, there's another right opposite the train station for future reference. On arrival there wasn't anyone waiting in reception, staff was outside smoking and laughing leaving customers waiting. Standards have dropped dramatically because we found the room full of dust, carpet dirty and smelly, carpet ripped between the door of the toilet and the bedroom. In the morning breakfast was scattered and you had to walk from place to place as things were not close together. Not enough staff to ask for things and food was not replaced promptly once finished. Definitely Premier Inn got worse and no longer as one of my favourite as the standards have dropped too low! :-(

We would 100% come back to this hotel. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Genuinely good people who would give you or help you with anything. Bar staff even remembered my drink, they were so nice and friendly. This is now one of our favourite Premier Inns if not the best! Everything worked, was clean and tidy with a well stocked bar downstairs. One feedback I could pass on is that the entrance carpet has a damp smell that hits you as you enter. Please investigate. The rest was great. We had a fantastic night out in Mathew St nearby - live bands in EVERY pub and club, atmosphere is amazing. The vibe was buzzing. We finished our night in the Vernon Arms, what a friendly, lively pub!! We have loved the food everywhere and everything is walking distance. We covered a lot of miles but taxis are cheap (we did use a lot of Uber too). We LOVED Liverpool, would definitely come again. Premier Inns are popular, so the hall carpets do look well used, this never puts us off as the rooms, the bathrooms and the beds are very big, clean, comfortable and well appointed. They let us lock up our luggage so we could have a walk on our last morning after checkout. What's not to like!

Room needed a bit of a refurbishment, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok and a good selection. Excellent location for the Cavern and ferry. We found the place a big noises, mostly from outside our window which overlooked an alleyway.

Ryan, check in host has the one of the rudestest staff I've ever dealt with. Condescending from the outset, Not helpful at all with the simplest of questions you could tell he didn't care at all. On the other hand Charley who came in half way through the process was super attentive and helped out straight away. You can tell it's not her first time covering up for Ryan's mess.

Have stayed at this Premier Inn before and it offers the usual budget hotel comfort. It's a perfect location for visiting Liverpool. Added benefit of the carpark being directly opposite the hotel entrance and being discounted to £9 for a 24 hour stay

The location is great for exploring Liverpool. We'd travelled by train so it was a short walk to the hotel from the station. Its down a side street, which was perfect for us as it was quiet and calm inside and outside. Beds were comfortable. Great price. Staff on check-in were warm and welcoming. They gave my kids a little gift too which was sweet. Would definitely return.

A nice hotel and no complaints about the room or service. We paid for breakfast for one of the mornings we were there and I wasn't impressed. Had to wait for bacon to come out as none left and no scrambled egg, when I asked I was told just coming out but was still waiting 5 minutes later, in the end I gave up. Went and ate what I did have which included mushrooms and I can say they were awful, slimy and tasteless. So for these reasons I have given the hotel a 3 star review.

Stayed here whilst visiting Liverpool and it's perfect for it's central location, walking distance to most attractions and shopping. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from. There is a NCP and Q Park opposite, so ideal if your driving, would defo stay again.

Ideal location for exploring the city. A warm welcome and clean room. We regularly stay in Premier Inns as they are usually well located and reasonably priced. We had an issue with the sink in our room not draining. We raised this with reception on our way out for the evening, when we got back it hadn't been addressed. As a result, with the sink being full of water, we had to clean our teeth in the bath! The breakfast was up to the usual standard, but the hot food could have been hotter. Overall, it was a good stay.

Clean but basic, as you would expect at a Premier Inn. Walking distance to Liverpool Lime Street station. The breakfast is good and worth the cost. Checking in is strictly 3pm or after so don't bother coming in early unless you pay for early check in. They're card readers were broken on arrival and it took a full 30+ minutes to check in properly. That was a big negative.

Wasn’t happy with order, may sound petty but asked for garlic mayo and sweet chilli sauce on both kebabs but only got garlic mayo. We also ordered cheesy fries but came with no cheese on, it’s silly really we pay for a service and don’t get what we ordered items usually missing the delivery late or order cold. It’s not hard to read slip when packing order

Great bar, good menu, lots to do. We bought food and drinks got comfy and then a member of staff came over to tell us the entire downstairs area was reserved from half five. No signs up and no mention at the bar when we were paying our money. Moved elsewhere in what is a giant venue and decided to try the pizza and milkshakes from the bar the opened at 5.30, cos we wanted to try alcoholic milkshakes. Stood for 25 minutes without any sign of bar staff, despite asking a manger where the staff member was, and got sick and went elsewhere to spend our money. Good bar, badly ran.

Absolutely swanky, lovely staff and atmosphere. No space invaders and importantly- delicious food and mocktails as we don't drink..We got a great deal for the Shankley Hotel via Wowcher, which was used. We has a 2 course meal with a cocktail for £30-£40. The setting is beautiful and right in the heart of our great Liverpool city
