It's not the best P Inn, but beds as always super, food, freezer to fryer, expensive for what it is

I've been staying here for work last couple of weeks, very convenient location and quick to rejoin the A14. I've been staying in a Premier plus room, a very nice layout. The staff here are very personable. They remember your name and are very accommodating and easy to have a conversation with. I'd definitely stay again.

Staff are amazing and friendly as always! Loving the new rooms and the fact the bath has gone and it's a nice walk in shower. My 6th stay and I will be back very soon.

Had been put here not by choice due to not being able to get in at holiday inn, the rooms are basic and the food menu is shocking, premier inn has really gone down hill. The staff all seem like they cannot be bothered. Hopefully will not be back in the future

Stayed here for 1 night in a family room. Very modern, clean room, with mood lighting. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast offer with children was well worth it. Would definitely go back

From the second we arrived we had a lovely experience here. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was amazing, exceeded our expectations. Very clean and modern, bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower was powerful. Went down to the restaurant for an evening meal, lovely choice of food which tasted great. Drinks were spot on. Breakfast in the morning was really good. Overall was a great experience and would 100% return. Thanks guys.

As a family we would say this was one of the best premier inns we have been to. For many reasons mostly the room we couldn't fault the room at all. Spacious, luxury (never paid extra), the rooms are super cream (extra clean) smells refreshing, the beds were spotless, the carpets spotless super clean and you felt clean. I would highly recommend this hotel, yes the area is not nothing special however your getting good facilities and a great night's sleep. As you come off A14 because the premier inn sigh is very small and if you blink you'll miss it. Loved the extra light in the bathroom you could have warm white, bright white or night light being a lovely purple colour. Staff seem lovely we only had communication with one lady, and she was friendly and kind, offered help if needed. If we visit the area again and needed a place to stay, we wouldn't think twice about returning back! 💜

Big thank you to the staff at Premier inn Ipswich North who made me feel very welcomed when I broke down nearby and had to wait for a recovery vehicle. They were lovely and even gave me a free cup of tea. As a lone female at night it was very much appreciated. Thank you. 😊

The hotel seems quite old, though I was pleased to see my room had a recent re-fit and everything was clean and modern. Unfortunately I can't rate the rooms that high as the building still has noise issues as with any older Premier Inn's. It is pure luck whether you get someone doing Captain Tom laps in the room above, or testing the volume in the next door room. A real shame. Location is otherwise good. Free parking. On site restaurant but I didn't use.

We, my partner and I have just stayed at the hotel and we were the first to use the room we were staying in. The room ticked the vast number of our requirements, those that fell slightly short were our own personal preferences. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and to a high standard. Room is now just a a shower, which is much much easier to use.

I'm used to better from the Premier Inn, but everywhere it's reasonable but very limited, no outside seating areas to eat and drink, small in design as far as food and drinks are concerned, but I had a reasonable stay

Used this hotel many times over the years so know it well. It is an older hotel and doesn't have air conditioning which we desperately needed on our stay. On a hot humid night the supplied fan just wasn't up to the task. We had a ground floor room and tried to have the window open but unfortunately there were other guests sitting in their car right outside having a loud animated conversation! Being ground floor meant guests above us and yet again not for the first time we had an elephant above us who for some reason kept walking back and forwards across the room. I mean how much walking can you do in a premier room? Having said all that the hotel is well placed for Ipswich and being next to the A14 has good connections. We always find it is frequented by lots of trades people. The staff are friendly and always are, and there is a built in Thyme restaurant for guests. Much prefer this to the adjacent well known other establishments that draw in everyone of the street and their unruly offspring. Oh and by the way its air conditioned, YES. The hotel suits us well so will continue to use in the future. It just needs an upgrade and refresh.

Extremely disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never visit here !!!!!! Neither sim network is working not wifi. I’m here on business trip for 3 nights. The receptionist has no idea how to help or compensate customers. I’m sitting in my car to use wiffi for important stuffs. They’re not ready to transfer me to another room (First floor) hoping to have some signals there. They’re not ready to transfer me to another hotel where wifi is working.

Really good premier inn, location was lovely and quiet, nice to be enough out of a city or town to enjoy the peace but only 12 mins car journey into the centre of Ipswich. Incredibly bargain rate of just £51 for a Sunday night. Car park spaces and a bit tight, but it's free and plentiful so no complaints here. Thank you

I stayed in this hotel in February, the rooms were great and the location was okay, the reason I knocked the location down was due to the WiFi and signal, obviously poor because of the location. However the service was outstanding, we had Lauren as our waitress for the dinner service, she thoroughly explained all the deals and how each one works, she then only had 5 hours sleep and attended us amazingly for the breakfast service, without her the hotel would not work, she was at reception, taking orders and serving everybody. The manager was also very helpful the night before.

Really nice breakfast. Lauren the waitress was very welcoming and knowable about the food, which for us is important as we're Gluten-free and have a peanut allergy. The food was cooked to perfection by Bee the chef. We will definitely eat here again and highly recommend it to others.

We spent a weekend at Retreat East in one of the huts which are quite new. Inside is so nice and everything is quite good quality, the wood burner was dreamy. However, as it is a small area, it was a bit cramped with your bags and belongings. There is nowhere to put your stuff- a couple of shelves would solve this issue for example. There wasn't herbal tea in the room, which is quite common in every hotel now. In the bathroom they could arrange a shelf or something to put the toiletries. Everything is on the shower floor, which is not something you expect from somewhere this price point. You have spa and/or hot tub included but only for half an hour with very limited availability. For hot tub it is ok but what can you do in a spa for only half an hour? Breakfast which is included in the price is only continental breakfast, cooked breakfast is for additional cost also coffee is extra except filter coffee with an extra 12.5 % service charge! This is again something you wouldn't expect from somewhere like this. Service is generally good though. I should say the food is amazing, we had a lovely dinner, thanks to the amazing chef.
