Hotel was as expected for premier inn. Excellent. But the pub next door where meals are served needs alot of improvement. Waited an age for someone to serve us for breakfast and also the evening meal. In fact service was unacceptable even for drinks..the pub was cold we had to eat wearing our coats, staff said heating was off...would stay again but not sure we'd have meals again.

Stopped for the night on a long drive down the country. Rocked up late and the lady on reception (Charlotte) could not have been more friendly or helpful. Excellent value for money (£78 family room for me + 2 kids). Plus I paid for breakfast but children eat free! The building is a little tired on the outside but inside was clean and comfortable.

Stayed just for just 1 night, outside of the building looked tired but once inside building decor was OK, the room was clean and comfy, nights sleep OK not noisy. Staff friendly

So nice. All clean and easy to use. Breakfast was good apart from it's not self service. So you feel a fatty for having to re order seconds and thirds. Parking is ok. Restaurant isn't always open. Luckily there's a McDonald's nextdoor. However access by foot or wheelchair is quite difficult. Could do with a path direct. No Aircon but a fan is supplied. Tv volume only goes to 16 so no noise at night. Usual problem with no plug at bedside so have to get out of bed to turn alarm off. Surprised there was no biscuits. Overall a nice stay so near to the motorway and easy to find. Clean and comfortable

We only stopped here for a sleepover on our journey down from Scotland. It is easily accessible off the M6 and good value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful both in the hotel and the restaurant. The restaurant was regularly stocked up during breakfast and was clean and tidy.

Stayed here for work at quite short-notice. From the outside the hotel looks a little tired, but inside is exactly what I expect from a Premier Inn - friendly service and clean and comfortable rooms. The pub next door has recently closed to the public and is solely for Premier Inn guests. We were staying the same night as the England v Netherlands game so asked for a table near the TV to watch the game. The staff organised this for us. Service was quick and friendly. We had the meal deal which includes 2 courses in the evening and breakfast the following morning. Again, staff were very helpful in the morning to show us where everything was for breakfast and take our cooked breakfast order.

Regrettably, sold out the UK public to house immigrants of fighting age, no families, just able bodied men, and no longer allow the Stonecross to serve the public. Pandering to these sleeping soldiers. Something is wrong.

Stayed here for one night while in the area for business. A well located budget hotel. The room was comfortable enough and reasonably well appointed, although there was no shaver outlet in the room I was in The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. Although there is no aircon, the room was just about cool enough. The TV was a decent size and easy to view. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is available at the restaurant next door, and it was ok, but not the best. There is ample parking available, register your vehicle at reception. I would stay here again.

Probably one of the worst Premier Inns I've ever been in. Staff were great but the hotel is old and run down. You can hear people talking in the next room at 1am or people walking in the room above far more than any other hotel I've been in. The heating kept making a loud clicking noise when coming on through the night, really annoying. Worst sleep I've had in a hotel, ever. Carpets, furniture and bathroom were noticably dated. Bed was fine and seemed a recently updated mattress. Won't be using this place again.

As I would expect a premier inn to be. Good location and plenty of parking.

Clean rooms nice staff, lots of places within walking distance for an evening meal if you want something different from the same old onsite restaurant
