Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre (St. Enoch Square) hotel in Glasgow City

This premier inn is exactly what you are expecting. Location is terrific, just a stones throw from the subway. Parking across the road, get your ticket endorsed before leaving. Jay greeted us on the front desk reception. Nothing too much trouble. Happy, easy nature sorted everything quickly with no hassle.

Decent and reasonably well priced. Great location. Comfortable bed, quiet room.

Great central location, friendly staff, clean-ish rooms. Avoid room 210, it's right above the restaurant toilets and the sound of the hand dryer will drive you insane.

Staff were unhelpful and rude. Rooms are dirty and old.

Great hotel right in the city centre. Best hotel for any Celtic fans staying over

Having to adjust your thermostat by asking reception is useless. 'turn it up' but not enough, next time too hot, had to ask to turn it down, bad enough when on the top floor and some lifts were also out of use. I stay in plenty premier inns when travelling, but this one was not the greatest, and not down to the staff who were excellent, just the way we had to deal with things on this visit

Good hotel for a great location. I would have scored higher except I had issues with the Aircon not working. Friend stayed on the sofa which he didn't find comfortable to sleep on.

I recently had a fantastic three-night stay here! This is easily the best Scottish Premier Inn I've visited. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the 12 noon checkout time is great. Check-in is at 3pm, and it can be made earlier on request*. My room was clean, comfortable, and had an outstanding view* of Glasgow city centre. I would definitely revisit! Very clean, tidy rooms. Super comfy bed. Room was very quiet also. Breakfast (£11) worth every penny. Staff were very friendly and professional. 5☆☆☆☆☆

Big shout out to Sol on the front desk for being so friendly, kind and helpful during the red weather warning where our flight got cancelled. During a stressful time his prioritisation of, and commitment to customer service was exemplary. The staff member taking payment and showing us to our table (blonde lady) at breakfast too was super smiley and welcoming. Big tick for service at this hotel. Thanks PI Glasgow CC. Will return again.

Brilliantly located for shopping drinking and for a walk down the river. Staff are wonderful nothing is too much trouble! Breakfast is really good and well organised with loads of options. Room was clean and the bed was so cosy. There is a vending machine for when the bar is closed which is helpful. Our third trip now and each time has been just as good. 👍

Our recent stay at this Premier Inn was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, it fell far below the standard we expected. Firstly, our room had no toilet paper upon arrival. This is a basic necessity and reflects a serious lack of attention to detail in housekeeping. To make matters worse, our room was located directly above a hand dryer that went off every 30 seconds, making it nearly impossible to relax. The breakfast experience was equally poor. We arrived at 8:10 AM, only to find the restaurant completely empty and no staff in sight. After locating a staff member, we were told breakfast wouldn’t be served until 8:30 AM. When we politely asked for a cup of tea while we waited, the response was an unnecessarily abrupt, “No, actually it won’t be okay.” This level of rudeness is unacceptable in any hospitality setting. To add to the confusion, small, inconspicuous signs in the restaurant reception area indicated breakfast wouldn’t begin until 9:00 AM. These poorly placed signs were easy to miss, and the inconsistent messaging caused unnecessary frustration. As if to emphasize a lack of trust, after we left the restaurant to wait elsewhere, the staff locked the door behind us, treating us more like untrustworthy schoolchildren than paying guests. When raising these issues with the reception staff, we were met with dismissiveness and defensiveness. Instead of engaging in a conversation or offering an apology, the receptionist merely pointed to another poorly placed sign to justify the confusion. This experience was riddled with preventable failures in communication, customer service, and hospitality. We expected far better from Premier Inn and will think twice before booking again.

Worst service and stay I’ve had in years. Room and no towels and no toilet paper. Bathrooms paint and wood work was falling apart. Rooms are tiny, windows do not open. Noise from some hand drier coming up from below. Non helpful staff and a breakfast that doesn’t start until 0900.. Wasn’t even allowed to sit in the bar for a cup of tea before breakfast started. Staff giving away free drinks to gents stinking of weed. Tried to get Fanta out of vending machine and coke comes out. Who is running this place?

A wee, budget hotel in a great location. Unfortunately another place going for automatic kiosk service instead of normal human like check in

More staff needs for the 15:00 check-in times, as big line of people.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. The location was ideal for my requirements. I would stay again. The disabled facilities were a pleasant surprise.

Great rooms. Unfortunately our stay coincided with a lot of families staying at the hotel for a football tournament. It was very noisy and we couldn't get a table in the bar. The staff at the bar were very inflexible and wouldn't let us sit in the restaurant.

We have really enjoyed our stay here. Staff are wonderful and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. We found our rooms very quiet, comfortable and clean. We had our breakfasts in the attached restaurant which were great. Thanks Premier Inn!!

I could rate my experience higher for the staff friendliness and the good location but health and safety will always be my top priority. The shower is hazardous and not safe. I fell on my back in the shower the first time I tried to take a shower. The bathtub is extremely slippery without any soap or other products. No firm handles on the wall to help prevent falling. The bathtub is also very high which also increases the risk of falling after getting out of the shower. I dont have any balance issues and I definitely was not sleepy when I got in the shower, so please if you have high risk of falls, do not come here if you will need to shower during your stay

Clean tidy room, comfy bed, good service & right in the city centre. Ticks all boxes.
