I have been staying at the premier inn at oldbury for 4 nights a week for over 3 years and I couldn't fault the place, the staff or the restaurant/pub👌 but since the owners of premier inn decided they were not getting enough profit and decided to close the pub/restaurant and open it themselves the hotel amenities don't even deserve one star they sacked all the staff except I or 2 and now they can't even open every day/night for food and drink. I get an allowance from work for food but when the restaurant is closed I have to use a takeaway and pay out of my own pocket, we also book weeks in advance but you don't get notice of when it will be shut. The staff are as helpful and as pleasant as always but would I recommend the hotel the answer is NO NOT IN ITS PRESENT STATE!!

Rooms are super spacious. One problem we face was a speed bump on the way in and it’s not painted so when we arrived we couldn’t see it and had no idea it was there till we was on it. A big problem we faced inside was the lack of signal paid £5 for wifi that only worked in 10 minute intervals.

It's very reasonably priced at this location. Rooms are clean and well maintained. I am slightly surprised, as we arrived 30 mins before there check-in time, and they didn't checked us in without charging us additional £10. If it would have been a busy or booked out Inn, then I would have understood, but it was all vacant when we came. Although, the staff is lovely, and very efficient. It was a very hot day, when we went there and on request they made fan available. Note: They don't have A/C in the rooms.

Location was great for a business trip. Was able to get out and about fairly easily. Traffic very heavy at rush hour. The Premier Inn it's self. Is typical of the brand. Comfortable bed. Good shower. All you want. Shout out to the female receptionist who booked me in. Sorry I didn't catch your name. Very helpful. Thank you.

This is a love or hate kinda pub. Get to know a few friendly regulars and it's a decent night out. Cheap beer, zany landlady, and animals on the bar. Lol.

Baguette was dry, the other half I ate had nothing hardly in as the filling I chose was chicken. Not much salad added or cheese. Very disappointed. It was short stop as I was hungry after a hard worki
