Premier Inn Aldershot hotel in Rushmoor

When we got to our room there were strands of hair in the sink, on the toilet and on the clean towel hanging up in the bathroom. The coffee machine was broken in the restaurant so the only coffee available was instant. The staff are the saving grace of this hotel. Everyone was so nice, particularly the woman at breakfast, the young guy who serves the food in the evening and the night receptionist who asked some other guests to stop slamming doors in the middle of the night. Location is really good, next to a supermarket and there is ample parking. 3 star hotel that I’d probably give 3 and a half stars to.

Five stars because I got what I payed and is consistent with the premier inn offering. Reception staff were pleasant. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. I slept on a portable bed and found it comfortable. The premier inn brand is all about a good night's sleep and I got that. Our room was on the ground floor, odd numbers which backs onto the main road. If I was going back again I'd request an even number (note that they back into the premier inn car park and close to a Tesco supermarket delivery area) and the 1st floor because there was some noise from the road and squeaky floor boards above me. Not enough to loose a star though. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful with the kids. Breakfast was sufficient.

Only staying 1 night as attending event at Airfield, so the hotel was ideally situated. Rooms were clean and warm and the welcome was friendly. Ate in restaurant which is no longer a Brewers fayre and table has to be booked when checking in. Food was fine and the staff attentive.

The staff make the difference! I stayed here for work, just as I have at thousands of hotels across the globe. I rarely write a review…. Why would I? But this place was a bit special. A cut above the rest. At first glance this place is what you expect. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. This is generic. It is faceless and functional. But.. Paula, the lady running breakfast was just lovely, not too friendly, and not too attentive,just brilliant. I didn’t want to be awake at 7:00 on a Sunday morning when it was ice cold and I had to go to work, but honestly Paula made it better! She was welcoming, informative and just the right side of friendly. Breakfast was a buffet (all you could eat) well cooked and covered all bases, but it was Paula’s smile that made it stand out. When I got back to the hotel after work, I found the hotel restaurant/bar next door to be lacking in stock. I was told this was due to waiting on deliveries. The staff were apologetic and gave me directions to one of the nearest alternatives. Due to the temperature outside, I couldn’t be bothered to walk, so got myself ready for a very average evening. I was mistaken. The staff made this place great. Lucy Annalise Sophie Just Great. These ladies made this place glow, with their chat, their attitude and their general demeanour. Premiere Inn are lucky to have them. I would (and will) stay again, because as I stated at the start of this… THE STAFF MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Good location, tesco across the road. Make sure your window closes tight. Otherwise, you will be listening to the road traffic outside. Rooms in anex are better, but they could do with redecoration.

I stayed twice at the Premier inn in Aldershot for business with a colleagues on 7 and 23 Jan. On the 7th we were told unfortunately steak was off the menu. It happens sometimes. On our return we again booked meals at the restaurant. And the receptionist was very helpful. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed. She arranged for us to eat in the restaurant in Farnham 5 miles away. Although this was a nuisance we can understand that the Chef was taken ill. At Farnham again no steak! Very disappointing. I ordered a starter and fish and chips. asked that everything be brought together my colleague ordered a burger. My starter was brought early. My fish and chips when arrived was overcooked. My colleagues meal did not arrive until I had pretty much finished my meal. I cannot rate the reception at Aldershot on 23 January highly enough. Unfortunately the reception staff were let down by not having the full menu on two occasions (to my mind a management fault) and the restaurant service in Farnham. Again this seems to have been a shortage of staff which is a management fault. I hope my next stay will be much better.

Despite the stock levels running low in the bar, which wasn't the staffs fault, the entirety of my stay was fantastic. The staff in the hotel are extremely friendly, polite and helpful and always smiling. The bar staff are polite, friendly and always happy to chat. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. All in all nothing to complain about, except there was no Guinness!

Good size room, no toilet paper but was given a toilet roll at reception. Double room but only one hand and bath towel. Small niggles but shouldn’t have happened!

Lyrically it's good, shout out to everyone who works in budget hotels. You the real soldiers on the frontlines of battling snoozing

We stayed as we were visiting Aldershot tennis centre nearby. All was exactly as you'd expect a Premier Inn! We love Premier inn as the family rooms are great and the breakfasts are tasty!

Lots of noise all night and the evening meal service was atrocious.

Next to tesco it’s nice for the breakfast

Stayed for 2 nights whilst my daughters took part in a dance competition. Large family room which was immaculate and super friendly staff both at the hotel and the Brewers fayre. My only negative comment is the hotel isn’t very well soundproofed and the internal noise travels, which kept us up at night.

Location was good for exhibition. But apart from that, i can not recommend at all

I had battered fish, chips & mushy peas, nice & hot. Batter was not cooked right through & chips were not crisp
