Me encontré en Cardiff por negocios la misma noche que Pink tocaba en la ciudad... ¡carnicería absoluta! Sin embargo, tenía hambre y era difícil encontrar un lugar para comer. Encontré Praya Thai y pensé en probarlo. ¡Qué resultado, comida de cajón absolutamente superior! Tuve que esperar un poco, pero pronto estaba probando el entrante mixto seguido de almohadilla de pollo tailandés. Fue todo fantástico, la comida más reconfortante que he tenido en siglos y fue cocinado a la perfección! 10 / 10 - excelente cena con un servicio increíble también. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar y sin duda volveré.

¡Por dónde empiezo! Visité aquí el fin de semana con mi pareja. Qué experiencia increíble. La comida era de primera calidad y el servicio era genial. El restaurante era tranquilo, lo que fue una pena, ya que la gente se está perdiendo este lugar. Dip de cacahuete para morir y todo lo demás fue completamente increíble. El arroz de piña es como una infusión de muchos sabores que se disparan a la vez. Tanto que probar y todo por un buen precio justo. Ya se los recomiendo a muchos otros.

The dom yam gung spicey prawn soup was delicious, packed with flavour. Lamb massamam curry was also tasty, although the lamb a little dried out. There is no cutting back on the Thai style ingredients at this restaurant.

232 City RoadWhenever I crave for Thai food, I'll always think of Chili Basil at City road in Cardiff. The Thai food is so delicious paired with very reasonable price, great service and friendly staff. What else can a satisfied customer ask for ?

45 Crwys RoadWe visited Mr. Pim on a Saturday afternoon. There was no one else there and it had such a cosy musicians sitting room feeling. We had a table booked for three and didn’t leave until just after half five. The music and chatter definitely made the food worth the wait. Mr. Pim was welcoming and incredibly hospitable. We had a four and five year old with us and he was very accommodating of them. The girls got to play some piano and sing with Mr. Pim and a film was popped on during lunch. If you like a chat about life over food then this is the place for you. Mr. Pim has done so much, one would think you could not fit that into a lifetime. Wisdom beyond his years in that man. Ask him about his time as a Buddhist monk. And the food. I’ve saved it to last because it was incredible. We had Chicken Satay, which I honestly would say is the best Chicken Satay I’ve had in some time. For our mains we had egg fried rice, chicken fried rice and coconut rice with a chicken Red Thai curry and a chicken Masaman. The portions were plentiful and it was all cooked fresh. The girls even had a little home made coconut ice cream too. We weren’t rushed out. It was just good food, good chatter and good vibes over music. I would definitely recommend.
