Had a fantastic time with my girlfriend for her birthday meal. I would recommend the chicken Pad See Ew. Robin was a great server!

This dining experience was absolutely appalling they kicked my whole family out on my mothers birthday including my 7 year old sister the service was terrible apperantelly they have ran out of half the stock can’t believe it is still running as we walked into the restaurant it felt like we were walking through the GATES OF HELL !!??!!!!

Had a great meal here on a very busy rugby night which could have been a challenge for the team, but we were very well looked after by Lana, who made the evening that bit more special with her friendly and efficient service. Thanks Lana, and all the team at Rosa’s.

Saw this place when I was visiting the city and I'm super happy I went inside. Great vibe and the girl serving me (I think her name was Lana) was very friendly. Their red curry was great and I reccomend if you're visiting nearby.

The place is quiet and well-decorated. Unfortunately, the menu is confusing. We ordered a dish that said "Pork Belly" when it actually had "Seabass" (?). The salads all have meat (!). I've eaten at other Thai restaurants around the world and didn't like it very much. The rice was thick-grained, not even long-grained. Sorry, but I don't recommend it.

Came here with colleagues for a business do. Love the interior décor of the restaurant, food and service was brilliant. Special mention to Lana who served us and catered to all our needs, would definitely come again and recommend to friends and wider colleagues in Cardiff.

The food is very tasty, but the service is very poor. It was very difficult to get staff attention, and we stood there waiting for 5 minutes. They saw us but, for whatever reason, didn’t even come to ask anything.

Went at about 7pm on a weekday, moderately busy, greeted promptly and shown to table. Service was quick and very friendly, absolutely nothing to fault. The food was ok, we had a panang and a Pad Thai, both served on flat plates, I think bowls more appropriate. The food was just about hot though could have been hotter. The panang had 2 chillies to represent its heat, now I’m no fan of super hot dishes but this barely had any heat at all, akin to a korma. overall for a chain as expected , reasonable value and I would return although perhaps not as a first choice.

The food is lovely and you get more than enough on your plate! Andrea was an accommodating and fabulous server. She may or may not have had elbows, can’t confirm.

The food is always tasty and fresh! It’s the best Thai we’ve had in Cardiff! They have many options, both with meat and vegetarian. We always order from there when in town.

First time trying here, and it was the best curry I’ve ever had! Service was brilliant as staff were very polite and quick too! Spring rolls were also incredible! Definitely recommend :))

Very flavourful, the beef broke up with a spoon it was so soft. The coconut rice was a little disappointing as it didn't seem to taste anything like coconut. The green stringy vegetable was hard to eat as you can't break it up when chewing. Overall it was good and would definitely order again to try something else.

We had panang curry and pad kra prow ,the panang curry was the best. the best curry everrr. the beef is very softtt. so delicious. can’t say enough . but sadly the pad kra prow is too salty for me and even my husband said the same. its like u put a bunch of salt in there.

Very disappointed with our trip to Rosa's. To call this authentic is an insult to Thai cuisine. Rice was mush. The kra pow had standard basil not holy basil, even those pieces that were present were hard to find. Underseasoned and bland. Also, sliced pork instead of minced, very odd... even the website shows it minced (the proper way). Green pappaya was not thai, it was standard pappaya, and again lacking quantity in the salad dish. The nam sai is hands down the worst nam sai I've ever tasted, bland, over stewed, and a hint of something foul in the chicken, like it was on the turn. And yes, I did raise the issues with the server, Lana. I'm not sure if she's appropriately trained, or just incapable of receiving feedback and escalating but in response to my feedback, the (optional by the way...) service charge was removed from the bill. If you are looking for an authentic Thai experience, do not go here. It's simply an insult to Thai cuisine, culture, and people. They should be ashamed.

This Thai food was truly a hidden gem. The fried rice and satay were great, and you should definitely try the chicken rice cause it’s really tasty.

I was looking forward to eating at Rosa’s Thai, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectation. We had the sharing platter, which was ok. The calamari and spring rolls were very good, but the pork skewers were chewy and not a good flavour. The Khao Mun Gai' Chicken Rice, was really not very nice. The chicken did not seem fresh. It was not a good combination of food. The broth had no flavour. The Khao Pad' Rosa's Fried Rice, had 2 halves of tomato and cold pre cooked chicken. The staff weren’t very engaging. I know a lot of restaurants do this now, but I do not like having a service charge of 8.86 slapped on the bill for 2 people eating lunch. It really puts me off. I would like to have the choice. The cocktails were very nice.

Lovely food, nice atmosphere. Had the very attentive service from the lovely Hoi. Sharing platter was plenty for two, calamari was tender and not chewy. Decent portions and delicious iced coffee/iced tea.

Massaman beef curry cooked the way it should be using slow cooked chunks of beef that just pull apart with a fork! It’s the first time I’ve found one like this in the UK having become addicted to them overseas and not been able to find a good one in the UK until now….. the chicken fried rice was also spot on, as was everything else!

I went to Cardiff's Rosa's Thai today with my partner and had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. There was only 1 waiter there and even though he was serving everyone by himself, he was incredibly kind and helpful. We were in a rush and forgot to ask for his name, but he was amazing!

We had a table by window and watched the world go by drinking a delicious Singha beer. Our main meals were delicious - chicken and bean stir fry and chicken curry with kafir lime The sauces and rice were yummy. Highly recommend.

Such a gorgeous Thai restaurant! The food has SO much flavour. Thai is my favourite cuisine so I came here for the first time last year all the way from Worcester as I was attending a concert in Cardiff, popped in and despite how busy it was they fit us in no booking needed it was very appreciated! Have always remembered how amazing the food was so have wanted to come back ever since and did today! The food again was perfect and full of flavour, the staff are very friendly and attentive, service was so quick I think the food was at our table within ten minutes of ordering! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place with a lovely atmosphere and delicious food! The best Thai food I have experienced in many years. Amazing place and Sammie was lovely!

This is my first time to have dinner with my family at Rosa’s Thai Cardiff. The foods here are great! Especially the staff from Malaysia are very nice and helpful! We are having amazing time here.

I hate leaving this type of review. Our first night in Cardiff, a Tuesday. There wasnt much crowd in town, so we didnt make a reservation. We walked to Rosa's because we both love Thai food. There was one table occupied. The hostess asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. She looked down her nose at us and said I can seat you, but it will be at least an hour. I looked over her shoulder at the mostly empty restaurant and the staff twiddling their thumbs and said seriously? We left. Apparently my American money wasnt good enough for them.

Rosa's Thai is a wonderfully authentic Thai restaurant located in the City centre in Church Street which is a busy and cosmopolitan area packed with bars and restaurants Ideally located with a street level entrance and dining area , there is also a spacious dining area downstairs Meals are delicious, authentic Thai all freshly prepared and servings are plentiful Delicious Thai curries and Pad Thai are excellent Staff are very friendly and helpful with a particular mention here for Hoi who is so friendly and helpful as was s Sami on another recent visit providing a great service Rosa's is great place if you want an excellent Thai meal in a friendly atmosphere We cannot recommend it highly enough !
