Pound Bakery in Stockport

Food was cold must of been sat there a while the eggs needed to be binned especially we samonela staff making sandwiches no gloves and then serving and not washing hands disgusting avoid this place dirty it willake you I'll reported to environment needs looking at .

There is always a queue in here because the produce is such good value with prices really reasonable. The bread, cakes and biscuits and drinks are good quality and the staff are very friendly. There is a bus stop just along the road which is also handy. Everything is nicely packaged and fresh.

Well what can I say. Proably the worst food ive ever eaten, and I've been all over the world ( so that's some record just in itself ). I am not local to the area and I just wanted a quick sandwich and brew. I've NEVER been in one of these shops, but to be fair it was the only place open that I could see. I ordered Two Bacon and Sausage Rolls and a cup of tea. The tea was disgusting it was like warm water and the tea bags must have been The Cheapest you could possibly find. The Rolls .... WOW the hardest bacon and stiffeist sausages I've ever been given. In addition to the rubbish food the muffins were dry with no butter or margarine ( can you even imagine ). On returning to my van I had a look on what was on the rolls . Unfourtnnely NOT A LOT. I went back to the shop to complain only to be told if I wanted more it was 60p an item. I said there's no bacon on my roll and showed the assiant . As I said it's 60p an item. Totaly OUTRAGEOUS !!!!. To be honest I threw the lot in the nearest BIN. In my opinion they are PRAYING on the poor serving Sub Standard Food. As previously stated OUTRAGEOUS !!!.

The Pound Bakery Krispy cakes are the best. Made from corn flakes with just the right amount of chocolate covering them and there is the added bonus of a chocolate egg on top. Highly recommended.

Usually fast service. Food isn't bad considering the price. How they manage to make a profit I will never know unless the meat pies are made from the local rats (Joking). Pizza slices well worth a try.

Does what it says on the tin... but better! Had a chicken and stuffing baguette and a chocolate cream cup cake. It was gorgeous!!! Nicest cake I've had in a long time! Staff really lovely too. Thank you!

I have used this shop on a couple of occasions but not been happy with their products. The pasties and pies seem devoid of taste, yes I know that they are cheap and will fill you but what happened to the flavour? However I have not tried the cakes, which may be wonderful.
