Potters Bar Kebab in Hertsmere

Village Mangal used to be amazing food and amazing value for money. Went on line to order last week and all prices seem 35% more than before Christmas. Such a shame to open under new management and whack prices up on day one. So I ordered from another local kebab place and it was amazing. I will try the new restaurant and hopefully food worth the extra money. I just like to get value for money. I understand stay up costs high but get customers first then gradually increase prices and not increase on day one.

Excellent food. Had the £29 meal for two. Large portion of various meats. Doner served separately. Large salad. 3 large complimentary dips. 5 pitta breads. Very pleased. Definitely going back soon for the same.

This has Got to be one of the better fish & chip shop that I am happy to frequent, never had a bad piece of fish from them & the staff are very friendly, they also sell Doner Kebabs that are equally tastu but beware there Chili Sauce is devilishly Hot but what ever you order you won't be disappointed, trust me I'm a foodie. Go, Eat & Enjoy.

I have always really enjoyed the fish and chips from potters Bar Kebab, but tonight they were only fit for the bin!! As soon as we unravelled the paper it appeared to me as if these chips were yesterday’s. They were brown in colour and just looked unappetising. They weren’t crispy and certainly not freshly cooked. They were so awful we threw them away and went back out again to buy our dinner again from a rival chip shop: And that’s where We will be going to buy are chips in future, as their chips were delicious. Sorry Potters Bar Kebab, it is the last time you’ll be seeing me... you won’t be ripping me off for a second time!

We always use this take away kebab restaurant. Great chicken kebab and shish. The chips are really good also. I would prefer a Variety of salad though. Overall a reliable place.
