Portrush Atlantic Hotel in Coleraine

A really great location,being able to see the Atlantic from our room. Fairly basic & clean, spacious accommodation. Hot drink facilities within the room are well received. Shout-out to the lady in reception that enabled us to leave a day early with a refund on one night as we needed to be at the airport sooner than originally planned. Would have loved a smart TV and perhaps bathroom could have done with modernising. Buffet breakfast makes for a perfect start to the day. All things considered great value with a spectacular location.

An amazing Hotel and very competitively priced. The hotel is based in the town center and is within walking distance of everything you need including the beaches. There is beautiful views of the coastline from the hotel rooms. The staff are all an amazing bunch and the rooms are very beautiful and clean. Would definitely revisit. The Hotel also organised and prebooked our taxi for us for the next day. The company SML TAXI is based near Belfast International and came for us on time and again very competitively priced with 💯 customer service. Compared to the airport terminal taxis that we used, to get us to the hotel, there was a massive £35 difference with SML TAXIS. We will definitely use them again also

Mens downstairs toilets had to hand driers neither of them worked

Pros: Exceptionally friendly staff that anticipated our needs and met them. The breakfast was great! And they were willing to let us leave luggage for a few hours after checkout! The town is beautiful, and we enjoyed exploring it in the quiet off-season! Con: We had some issues with one key card, but management sorted them out speedily. The view out our window was the parking lot, because we didn't pay extra for an ocean view. Loved Portrush and this hotel and definitely recommend!

The staff were lovely, rooms and breakfast very nice

Great value for a decent hotel. Some problems with the room keys, so I had to go back to the reception couple of times to have them reprogrammed. Somewhat outdated room decor, but very clean and comfortable. I was told that the rooms would be refurbished soon. Good breakfast, free car park (tiny, so I was lucky to find a spot) and charming staff.

Had a 4 day stay in December could not fault this hotel room was clear comfortable and always warm we had a lovely sea view staff very helpful and friendly breakfast good parking right outside

Close to coast with no blockage on view.

Nice hotel, maybe a little tired, but great staff and the rooms were comfortable enough. Very central, close to restaurants, sea promenade and the train station.

A bit dated and needing some love and attention

Rooms old fashioned but very big!! Quiet and great located hotel. Would recommend it.

Pleasant hotel good rooms with most amenities although no fridge. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Restaurant was closed during our visit with no explanation given. Breakfast fine. Some new staff being trained in bar all pleasant although without knowledge of how to pour a proper pint of Guinness. Our room had a lovely sea view.

Location lovely but that's where it stops. Hotel is lacking...

It must have once been a good hotel, but not currently. Old, dirty, moldy rooms with walls so thin that you can hear everything that happens in the next room. One of the weakest and most uninteresting breakfasts I've ever encountered in my life. If you can avoid it, don't stay at this hotel

Nice hotel, friendly staff and easy to get to many places. Would stay again. Ladies bring a hairdryer as the one in the room has a sensor and will shut off. Rooms are clean but not up to date. So have conversion plugs if you need usb to charge your phone/s.

Great location, clean and friendly staff

The world traveler here. Most of the service businesses are based on employees. How they can be good or not. Even the room isn’t clean perfectly, if employees sincerely help, I feel I’d like to use the same place. Humans decide our stay. ROOM was clean!! The receptionist was amazing. Knowledgeable, willing help/ accommodate guests’ needs, positive. Parking, it’s street parking, in Aug, Monday stay, around 6pm, we still saw few or more empty spots right in front of the hotel. Very good rated restaurants, pubs in walking distance. Highly recommended.

Right on the water two blocks from town. Great view of the sea, close to restaurants and entertainment. Definitely recommend!

Definitely a 3-star hotel in need of some TLC. The property is tired, as are the staff I suspect. Parking of vehicles is pot-luck.

Portrush is an ideal location from which to explore the north Antrim coast. The hotel is perfectly located in the city center. The room has a slightly older charm, but is spotlessly clean and tidy. The breakfast is rich and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a great time!

Chloe was a huge help to us for a last minute, late booking. She also advised us on where we could find food at that hour. Room was nice and comfortable

After booking a night away via the website I had to cancel due my mother being admitted to hospital I contacted hotel and asked if it could be cancelled and refund made Now over a week later, I'm still being ignored regarding refund, offered holding payment for 6 months, but with my mother's health I don't know what's happening one day to the next And as a returning customer I thought this would have been sorted But very poor customer service from booking staff and manager I will not be booking any further stays

Very tired and run-down. Loose fittings, threadbare carpet and furnishings. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful place, many walking trails

Just back from the hotel and will absolutely go back 😬 it's a bit tired but absolutely spotless and the staff were brilliant especially Ross 😁 and the breakfast was great 😃 the views were stunning ☺️ I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back 😀

Nice hotel friendly staff, only downside could not get lunch or dinner. However, plenty of places to eat around the hotel
