I came in for lunch and had the jerk chicken and rice. Really nicely seasoned meal, very decent portion size and cooked really well, in my opinion. The owner is dead friendly and happy to recommend dishes. Can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu. My new favourite lunch option in town.

Located in Bradford's Oastler Market, Portland Royal cooks up some seriously good Caribbean cuisine from a kitchen which feels like home. You can sit inside or take away. I had the curried chicken with steamed veg and rice and peas. Plentiful and great value.

We were looking fur somewhere for a coffee whist charging our EV. We are on holiday from South Shields. This was a great find with a fabulous friendly couple who made us so welcome. The plum cake was homemade as was the brownie! Both absolutely gorgeous. Coffees were nice too. Brilliant table service and visited the immaculate toilet. All Covid friendly. Wishing you both every success in the future. You deserve it . Thank you
