Food was mouldy!!! Bar owner swore at me when I complained…

No charger and only friendly with certain people… suspicious

Visited this week and it was fantastic, the staff were all friendly with great customer service and all with a smile. Danielle and Dan were amazing and very knowledgeable when I asked them some questions. Will definitely be returning soon.

Awesome pub a stones throw from the station. Every time I got off the train I stopped for a pint.

Great fun, food and banter at the P and S - shout out to Morgan, Zak and the gang....and DJ Witty of course...the Bantam of the Opera ..

Karaoke on Thursday nights is a banger - Morgan and her team are brilliant sports, always entertaining singing and and friendly service. Niko is a brilliant DJ and karaoke-king. Star of the show is Zak, absolute legend and always a friendly face in this crazy place.

The pub has a great atmosphere and the food is excellent. However, it took a while for our order to arrive, and the place could use a bit more attention to cleanliness.

The pub wasn't too busy and the service was good. Would have been nicer had the air con been on.

A very nice place to go for a beer or a cider! We went on a Thursday, which is karaoke night! There seemed to be some regulars who love to belt out their favorite songs, altogether a lovely and casual atmosphere.

Visited for the football. Clean and tidy pub, decorated well for the game. Staff are fantastic and can’t be faulted. Great selection of drinks and reasonably priced.

Reall poor customer service from A guy working behind the bar yesterday (grey hair & beard)- I asked for a dash of lemonade in my wine as we ordered to the table and couldn't request on the app. He said "ill be charging you for that" and told me I had to pay £1 never in my life have I ever been told to pay £1 for a top of lemonade his attitude was bad and he was very rude. The other bar staff where very friendly and he was miserable.

I attended as part of a group of 10, organised from work. We had tables reserved and ready for us when we arrived at 5.40pm. Bar and food service was good all night and provided with a smile. We also enjoyed the karaoke - the DJ was excellent, welcoming and supportive of all the participants. I hope we return soon!

Morgan and Maygan and Sam are amazing they always make sure you are looked after, and never without smiles. 100 recommended going to the porter just for those guys

Such an fantastic pub to be in right next to east Croydon station. The bar staffs and service were amazing. We were there on a Thursday karaoke night, had an amazing night with my lots. Definitely recommend this place

I’ve lived in Croydon for 8 years and never even popped in here before today. The vibe and ambience was fantastic and Catherine was great with the service.

Best part about it is the service! Sam has the best customer service, and is always on hand to help out. You have the girls as well without a doubt they are always doing their job and making sure you are served with a smile... Special shout out to Morgan and Megan and Dani

Came into the Porter and Sorter with my friend on a beautiful sunny day and was able to grab a table in the beer garden in the sun! Food was delicious, and we even received table service which was lovely and very quick! Can’t recommend enough! Will be back soon! Thank you Cameron & Brandon!

Great traditional pub! Comfortable bookable areas for groups,a pool table, great DJ,outside smoking beer garden and decent prices. And 2 minutes from all East Croydon great transport links. A real find!

Nice lil' pub by East Croydon station with a pool table!

One of the only proper pubs left in Croydon. They show sport, have large TV's, there is regular karaoke and the usual quiz machines - standard pub toilets, nothing fancy and the usual pub prices. Located right next to east Croydon station, if you find yourself waiting for a train pop in to the porter for a swift one. Nice for meeting up with friends and the staff are friendly too. Food isn't that great but they do offer the usual pub grub. Some outdoor seating where you can watch people go by - all in all a decent, traditional pub.

Had a large breakfast most enjoyable

Had my birthday party here recently and it was a great evening. Huge area that we had just for ourselves. Buffet food was delicious. Will defo be back!

Popped in before heading off to Crystal Palace. It does get very busy here.

We ordered some food for dinner (burger and hunters chicken). The food took over 40 minutes to arrive and once it did the order was wrong - the dish served was a dish only available on the lunch menu which they do not serve at dinner time so I'm unsure as to how this mistake happened. Adding on, the dish wasn't great with the bread coming out very burnt on top. There was a young waiter that came to apologise, which was nice of him but the food was not great at all.

The staff coped very well given the large influx of rugby fans in advance of the England Ireland game

The service is consistently excellent, and the prices are competitive.

10/10 service, popped in for lunch and the kebab was brill! would definitely recommend & coincidentally was served by a lovely member of staff morgan and she was extremely helpful and polite throughout our entire visit

Came here for drinks with work colleagues. Good price for a pint. Quite lively and sport on. Added a star following response as if I come there to watch the rugby on a big screen with decent and well priced print I would have been quite happy

Ordered the Nachos sharing platter but was was served was stale Nachos chips, which were mainly crumbs! £10 for stale crumbs... oh, and not to mention the 2 sets of table numbers which can easily get your order lost! Response - Thanks for your response on 02.02.24. I was told that the order was a bit stale as it was sitting on the counter given "I" had entered the incorrect table number! Well please ask your team to check as to why there are 2 table mumbers on most tables? Specifically the ones that are stuck to the tables in red? So basically its a managment issue and not a customer issue either ways! Please get it sorted as I still can see the stickers on the tables despite being promised they would all be taken off!

A great pub nestled behind East Croydon and fantastically run by Dan and co. I recently visited with my wife and friends as part of our groups annual 12 pubs of Christmas tradition and all of us (there was a lot) were very well welcomed. Right near the station so easy to get home, pool table for all and a great friendly positive atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks guys keep up the great work!

Ordered a large wine and Samuel was a great bar tender! Whilst waiting at the bar Zak was great and kept me engaged in conversation as it was quite busy but he was sorting drinks near me. Definitely a friendly pub to go to!!

Went out to the porter and sorter with a few of my mates to get some food and have a few drinks. Zak, the barman, was excellent! Greeted us apon arrival. Was very helpful when i asked for alternative drink options and overall made the whole experience a 10/10. Would highly recommend coming here! Such a warm and inviting environment.
