Pleasant staff clean shop…let down by the mini fish and chips for £4.99 I ask if it’s cod get told yes and it was haddock got a refry and it was haddock again

Food is undeniably delicious, and chips with cheese are simply exceptional.

Warm welcome, very clean, not overpriced with a lovely menu & fantastic fish & chips. Would highly recommend to anyone to visit this little gem. 🤗 🐟🍟

Absolutely hands down the best fish and chips I have tasted! Lovely and warm thick gravy and super service and fantastic value for money. we had mini fish and chips and a kids meal and it was just lovely.

The chips are amazing and free from, if you have milk allergies! that proves how clean Poppins are as not many places can say this! the fish is very nice, although family had this not me, due to allergens. I was so happy when I found out about the chips. Sorry guys I promised to leave feedback months ago. Better late than never. Keep this up for next year and we will be back everyday!

Great place, with excellent fish and chips. The lady cleaning the tables was lovely and worked really hard to make sure the customers were happy. Excellent value for money . Same price to eat either inside or take away.

chips were divine , the mushy peas were to die for !! loving this chip shop since 2021 , absolutely amazing when in skegness / ingoldmells

Went twice in one week whilst at butlins..Lovely and fresh and not too greasy. Definitely recommend 👌

Excellent no other words describe it better a good size fish with an excellent crispy batter both the mushy peas and the curry sauce are great, the chips are fantastic, staff are brilliant the restaurant very clean, its a 10 out of 10 from me, thank you for a great meal at a great price, all the best simon

Food was alright but fish was so crispy and since given wooden cutlery, made it very hard to eat. Snapped 2 forks trying to eat it! Decent prices though

I thought I had eaten the worst fish and chips until I went to this fish shop, the chips were white and dry, the fish was so thin it was transparent and the mushy peas were tinned

Clean tidy, spacious outdoor and indoor seating. The greeting is lovely, keen to help and listen. Food was fresh and almost as quick as opening a can !! The food was warm and optional salt and vinegar, gives you a chance to lather salt or vinegar or both!! Friendly atmosphere! One of the good places of Fantasy Island

As a caravan owner I have tried many chippies in Ingoldmells and, In my opinion, this is the best I've tried. Tasty, hot food, served by friendly staff. Proper chips, (not bits of cardboard), and fish and chips for £3.99 - beat that!

Great chippy , highly recommend. Everything was cooked perfectly and all staff very nice and polite. Definitely going back. We'll done to all team, keep up with the good work.

Came here because the other chippy had run out of fish. This place is much better. Light and crispy batter on perfectly cooked fish. Would be very happy to go back next time we're in the area

What a lovely clean place to eat , staff all super helpful and did me a great small meal as I can't eat a lot. Food was great too and very good value for money.

My 10y old said best fish fingers and chips around lol he always makes us come here every time we are in the area and orders a large number of fish fingers which they not only are happy to accommodate since its more the the standard amount one gets with a kids meal but the price is very reasonable
