We found this place at the end of the promenade, it did not look appealing from the outside but the food was great and the lady super friendly. Highly recommended if you want a simple but tasty breakfast

Thought we give this cafe a try for a change. Don’t judge a book by its cover, a real little gem 💎 of a place. Friendly service great food and a nice cup of coffee! Four large breakfast s ordered and four clean plates. Would recommend the pop in cafe to any visiting the area. Big thumbs up 👍.

Me encanta el pop en café situado en el extremo de la playa un acogedor rincón con un gran servicio, la comida es genial y un menú sencillo de estómago con hambre cualquier suministros contenido. Tienes que probar el curry de pollo casero con patatas chaqueta =)

Pop in cafe, great place for a nice breakfast, breakfast comes in all sizes with tasty bacon and sausages, all at a very reasonable prices. Lunches are good as well. A real friendly welcome awaits you.

Have often eat breakfast at the Pop in, so felt compelled to write a review. Rebecca is a marvellous hostess friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is served promptly and delicious as always, even accommodating my little one with a piece of toast. Best café in the Sandfields Port Talbot area to eat and close to the beach to have a nice stroll afterwards.

The food was well cooked and very tasty. It was also very good value for money. the Proprietor, Rebecca, was the perfect host adding to the very pleasant atmosphere of a cosy little diner near the sea-front. I would recommend to any one.

An old school chum and myself travel South Wales for breakfast most weeks. The Pop In was our 243rd! They provide a selection of breakfasts we both had the Regular with egg, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, black pudding, beans, toast and a large mug of milky coffee £4.55. The staff were very obliging and friendly. We stayed for 2 hours chatting and there was no pressure to buy more. We did however have another coffee as the price, one milky one black coffee only came to £1.85! Recommended

Welsh food at its best nothing not to like about it homely, very good food, pleasant company no hurry to get rid of you. Staff very informative about the area. Nice place to leave husband or partner while we shopped until you drop.

Traditional English breakfast for a great price. The owner is very helpful and will do most things for you. Appearance is a bit lacking but it's a traditional working cafe and none the worse for that . The food is good and freshly prepared. Portions are large to keep the workers going ! Handy for the beach especially if your walking the dog . You can find the cafe just behind the naval club . Beware it's open only until about 2 pm and not generally open on Sunday's

I often walk the dogs down the dune end of the beach but have only recently discovered this hidden gem it's only a small cafe but the best things come in small packages and this is the best. The staff are very friendly and couldn't be more helpful as I like to change some items on the full English double toms no beans all the way for me what a beautiful breakfast everything is cooked and presented wonderfully I've tried the cottage pie too yummy and the toasties plenty of choice and really reasonably priced definitely one to try so drive or walk past the rest and find l like did pop-in's the BEST!!!!!!

I visited the pop in cafe whilst walking along Aberavon beach. The food was excellent value. Being a vegetarian and fussy the staff were very helpful in accommodating my dietary needs. Would definitely recommend.

Sadly I don't live in Port Talbot but I was there with my family visiting relatives who told us that we had to try the food at the pop in cafe, they were not wrong, the food was great and the potions were huge, what impressed me the most though was the staff, 2 out of my 3 children are extremely fussy but nothing was too much trouble, and when my youngest spilt his drink they were happy to fill his glass back up free of charge. They also deliver food which is great for my Grandad as he has trouble getting around now so he has a breakfast delivered a few times a week, if I lived in Port Talbot I'd have a breakfast delivered a few times a week like too.

The pop in cafe is by far the best cafe, friendly welcoming staff and a breakfast to die for, and it's a stone throw from Aberavon beach. What more could you want?

There were 15 people in my group who went there for lunch, we received an excellent friendly service and all enjoyed the freshly made food. All will return time and time again.

A must have breakfast the food is outstanding & so are the staff. Plenty of choice on the menu of good home cooked food & very close to the beautiful aberavon beach. Pop in & try it for yourself you wont be disappointed.

I called there with 9 other mates...the service and food was absolutely fantastic.The 10 of us left there very satisfied indeed.I highly recommend this cafe!!!

Stopped off at the Pop-in Cafe after a long walk on the beach. Had a beautiful full english breakfast, big portions and good price. Will definitely be coming back again.

Visited cafe while walking the dog on Aberavon beach. Had a mega breakfast. Service was good. Large potion and cheap to. They even put a bowl of water outside for my dog with a free sausage. Definitely will return.
