Had fish and chips and sausage, chips just pile of mushy chips, fish was a square in soggy disgusting batter. Never ever go again

This chippy/Chinese is reasonably priced and I definitely recommend the egg fried rice it had amazing flavour and was just overall lovely I 100% recommend.

Great food, great service and reasonable price, Cash only though.

About what you can expect from a local chippy, staff are friendly and give good estimations on wait time. Go there at least once a week.

Had take away order from her and must say chips was hard and tasteless like they been sat and re warmed your best putting chips on wen customers order so there done fresh yes there maybe a wait but it be worth it to have nice chips the sausages and rissoles looked like they been in warm cabinet for ages all dry up come on shape up guys or pass the shop onto some one else that will cook fresh chips

Ordered meal but not ready when we arrived 15 min wait again , but food was lovely and plenty of chips .

Delicious food, fresh hand cut chips, curry was flavourful and service was The place was a little busy…. Which is to be expected when it’s highly recommended!

Food tastes good and the portions are very generous. Only thing wrong is that there is no points ordering ahead because you end up queuing for your food anyway while they make everyone else's 1st anyway

Chips are undercooked and soggy. The prices are way too high i.e Fish cake £1.70 A packet of 12 do not cost that amount. Would not recommend.

Very nice chips. Communication lacking asked for cone of chips(3 times!) and fish bite but given tray of chips with peice of fish squeezed in by time we got home (less than 5 mins) tray had melted to fish. Limited choice from the chippy part. Their Chinese section was much better very tasty.

I get my chips once a week Friday,love the chips,fish is fab,also the fish bits.I get a pie for my dog.curry sauce and normal cause is great. Friendly staff.boss and wife are always smiling, And I always get a cardboard box for my food. See you Friday.

I don't usually go here as its a little out the way however, fast service, fish and chips are tasty and I love their chicken balls and rice n chip's.. Reasonably priced too. Cash only that's the only thing

My favourite type of chips done here. Very nice fish too. Batter reminds me of sweet and sour chicken balls which makes sense as they serve Chinese food as well.

It was the best chippy around but standards have slipped

The chips are never cooked properly. They are basically just blanched instead of leaving them in the fryer just a bit longer for them to crisp up and be golden. Need to learn how to cook chips. They are ALWAYS under cooked and soggy. Would not go there again unless greatly improved . The previous owners were far more experienced and should have shown the new owners how to cook. Having had some chips from there this evening bought by a friend things have not changed. Chips still not cooked as they should be. Complete waste of money. Will never go there again. Absolute rubbish.

Best chippy in wales. Recently changed hands but, the quality is just as good as previously.

Very hit and miss. Food can be fantastic. But if they're not busy then beware as the don't seem to care what they dish out. Large chips and two jumbo sausages bought on a Sunday evening, and the chips were inedible. So greasy that they actually looked wet and most were raw or had large chunks that were raw inside. The Jumbo's were the only things that we could stomach. The food seems to be better the longer you have to wait. We only had to wait a few minutes and the food clearly showed it. They should pay the same amount of attention to the food regardless of the day and how busy they are as we have been returning customers for years and periods like this can really put you off going back. Not want you want after a long busy day and fancy something quick, easy and tasty. Update. Decided to take the chips back to show the shop how bad they were. lovely young lady behind counter gave me a refund immediately. Updated the score from 2stars to 3. If we decide to go back and food has improved. Score will change according.

A dark place. Not at all bright and difficult to know if it open at first glance. It was our first time here and we were not impressed. The chicken chowmein was not at all nice and the chicken was very rubbery. The chips were undercooked. Quite a few hard ones. The sweet and sour chicken was just as bad. Again the chicken tasted like cardboard! How that is achieved in itself is amazing. The rice was very watery and lacked any flavour. Overall we would not recommend this place to anyone.

Just returned from here, after waiting almost 1 hour for a basic plain chow mein, egg fried rice and 8 sns ckn balls, absolute joke chinese woman completly unwilling to do anything her attitude stinks did not apologize for the wait, was hoping the food would make up for the hour wait but it really didn't what a totak waste of time and money!!!!!!

Love This Chippy, by far my favorite! Service is lovely and the food is amazing!
