Ponderosa in Swansea

Had one of the best nights ever here - the landlord & lady were such incredible hosts should be on everyone's list of places ot go in the Mumbles! Don't forget to order a baby Guinness!!

Wow! El propietario era tan amable y acogedor, fue un jueves por la noche y buena música estaba sonando! Precioso bar con una amplia selección de bebidas y un gran interior Fuimos parte de la milla de los mumbles y terminó siendo nuestro pub favorito de 15 bares que fuimos!

Great bar with lovely staff. Enjoyed super cocktails and loved the ambience of the bar. Good music and fun. The owners are lovely and great company. We’ll def return. Good place to enjoy the World Cup rugby which they’re showing.

We were looking for somewhere to have a drink after a disappointing meal at The Oyster House, the staff here were so friendly and welcoming, a lovely cozy little bar with a good selection of drinks and delicious cocktails. Will definitely visit again!

Great bar, good choice of music of a more, very small menu, as it is predominantly a bar, but take a cushion, as the seats are wooden and not at all comfortable, and are set around barrels. Hubby and I each had the chicken and chorizo pizza, and it was delicious, we ate the lot, and there’s usually at least one slice left over. More of a beer bar than wine bar, not much choice in wines, but the rose was good enough, and the beers and ciders also look well kept and not too dear. Only small, but across the road, on a lovely grassed area there were tables with parasols for patrons of the Ponderosa, and as the weather was great whilst we were in Mumbles, there was quite a few people sat outside, with plastic glasses of ale, for the sake of safety. Good experience, we popped in a couple of times for a last drink on our way back to the Fisherman’s Cottage which was just up the steep street by the side of the bar.

Lovely friendly quaint pub, with lovely staff & really lovely food. A definite must to visit. Across the road are the gardens with tables, you can order your food & drinks from there & it will be brought out for you. Brilliant!!

Last night we went to the Pondarosa for a private party and it was a fantastic night! The place is small but welcoming and our group of 20/30 people filled it nicely. The buffet was amazing, staff were friendly and welcoming and the karaoke made the night! Everyone had a great time, thank you so much, Pondarosa! (And my fab friend, Laura, for organising such a brilliant night) We will definitely be back! X

Amazing vegan pizzas! Had sports team do (postponed christmas do) here, and there was so much yummy food! Staff were really lovely. Inside area is quite small, but there's outside seating in the park under the tents, that's really nice. Lovely vibes

Nice food, good choice of drinks and lovely atmosphere

The Ponderosa hasn't been open too long. In the summer they had a superb service over in the park opposite, we caught it on the first weekend in September and I don't know how long that part of the service will be maintained. the bar itself is relatively small but fully stocked with a great selection of on tap beers and lagers as well as a vast array of spirits. Their pizzas are superb. We took away twice and both occasions were totally superb. The shining light has to be the staff who epitomised everything good about our trip to Wales...nothing too much trouble. Overall just superb

Lovely little bar with some outside seating available. Great menu with some quick bite favourites on and a wide selection of drinks.

Tried for the first time, had loaded fries with Chilli and a pizza 'special' which had beef, cheese, rocket, bbq base and in sure something else but can't remember. Two us of shared and there was plenty, enjoyed both but the pizza especially. Menu is small but I enjoyed my food
