Wow! Always wanted to have a Persian meal and weren’t we lucky to have been recommended here! Amazing decor from originally a butchers shop in the 19th century! Jug of water on the table as you get the menus. Lovely, calm, polite service throughout the meal, with great help and suggestions. We had a cold mixed meze to start with lovely fresh bread. Stunning main meals. Persian ice cream and the best fresh mint I have ever had. All of this set in a lovely atmosphere…..can’t praise here enough!

Went to Polow with my brother Majid. Had a fabulous dinner; tried three of the Persian stews. All were delicious and tasted home made The Persian ice cream and Faloodeh was very tasty too The service and hospitality was exceptional. The owners are delightful people; extremely caring and welcoming

We absolutely loved the food, and the hospitality was truly delightful. It was one of the best experiences with Persian cuisine, lovely friendly staff and owner. Although they were fully booked due to an event, they kindly made space for us and even treated us to complimentary Persian sweets. It's a shame we live far away, but we will certainly visit again if we're passing by.

Fantastic restaurant, great atmosphere wonderful food and staff with a real passion for the food they are serving. The icecream was recommended and was homemade I would go back for that alone, but it was all top class.

Awesome Persian restaurant, exceeding my expectations which were pretty high considering all reviews. We’ve been here tonight for the first time to celebrate my wife’s birthday with 10 people, 4 of whom born in Iran and all of whom used to eat Persian food, and everyone loved the food, the service and the place. It’s definitely our favourite Persian restaurant in the UK so far, and we’re looking forward to getting back here for our next Persian dinner.

This truly authentic persian restaurant is absolute jewel. Tucked away in the leafy suburb of Egham, the service, food and setting is about as perfect as it gets. We were greeted by a very helpful hostess who talked us through the menu and the food was sublime. Make this a restaurant you have to visit - you will noe be dissapointed! Five Stars all round

Booked a table for 6 of us here as we were staying nearby. None of us had ever tried Persian food before and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed warmly and were made to feel welcomed and valued which is always important. Food was excellent, the cold starters so tasty, fresh and fragrant. Our favourite was a superb fresh chopped salad, which was absolutely fantastic. Main courses were equally good, we choose a variety of stews and kebabs(kebabs are enormous!) all served with beautiful fluffy rice. Baklava and Persian saffron ice cream followed. A great meal, great service and I have to say, superb value for money, coming in at around £45 a head which included quite a few bottles of good house red and white, Persian teas and a couple of brandies to follow. Wish we had this place closer to home!

A hidden gem. Amazing food, friendly and efficinet service. Cleanliness at another level. I will definetely be visiting very soon. We actually visited twice in 3 days. Would definetely recomment trying.

Baffled as to why this is 5 stars. Very poorly kept (outdated and unclean decor), limited menu choice, polite service but incredibly slow. Food way below average and arrived cold. Would not recommend.

I like going to Polow as their dishes are so tasty, be it the starters or main courses. . My late Partner and I went there several times and now unfortunately I have to go on my own but I am always met with a warm welcome. However, this was totally surpassed on Tuesday when it was the Chef’s and MDs birthday. Her family were gathering in the back and Ali, the Chef’s brother in law invited me to join the birthday celebrations which was really touching. I was so moved how Tahmineh and all her family made me feel so welcome which I greatly appreciated. Not only do you get great, tasty and value for money food but alsa a warm welcome whether you are solo, wich friends or family.

Really enjoyed a tasty double kebab meal here with a friend. Our portions were more than ample and the meats were cooked just right. Top and tail to this included humous, naan, and mint tea, all of which were pleasingly simple and refreshing. With parking round the back via Malthouse Lane, I'm looking forward to a re-visit.

A lovely dinner every time here. Hospitable and the food is just so good! Lamb and chicken kebabs melt in your mouth. I still say their decor could be more authentic and not such bright lighting but that’s only an observation.

Found this gem of a restaurant when looking for somewhere to eat before cinema. Excellent Persian food that you would normally have to go into London to find. Had the Kebab Momtaz with saffron rice which was delicious. Really high quality food and excellent service from family run restaurant.

This is indeed the best Persian cuisine restaurant in England. We drove 30 miles to get to it, and it was truly a delightful experience! If you think all kebabs are the same, just order the Barg and you will understand why Persian kebabs are in a league of their own. Do try the Persian ice cream, Bastani, made with saffron and double cream - it is the best ice cream in the world bar none. And they have their own car park at the back. Try it.

The food is consistently good, very tasty and reasonably priced. I had one of their stews with rice today which was very enjoyable. I usually order one of their lamb kebabs or salads and especially love the Salad Olvieh It was a bit quiet but I tend to go for a late lunch around 3pm. It does get very busy in the evening and booking is advisable. There is a vey private small patio garden at the back with lots of sunshine but the wind was a bit too chilly today but I look forward to sitting outside very soon.
