Me and my friends had really amazing time at Playa last Friday . Tasted some delicious cocktails and snacks . The staff was really funny and entertaining making you feel welcome!! Definitely we coming back soon !

We went with my colleagues to have some drinks ! The atmosphere was amazing,the music , the lights everything to make you feel like you are in such exotic play!! Yannis took care of us making our cocktails!! We found our place to go after work ,thank you!!

I have been looking for a bar that has these qualities so I can make it my usual spot: 1) Friendly barmen and waiters, that make you feel at home and taken care of 2) Nice drinks 3) Nice design - the more summery and away from urban concrete the better 4) and most important! good music = house music or quality latin american. I have finally found it. With all these pubs that play Rihanna on Saturday evenings, I could not have been happier to have discovered this spot. Instant favourite.

Small place but with perfect atmosphere and ambiance. The Barmen were professional and funny and they served the best cocktails ...! I liked this place

I been in this place only once but for sure i will come back.. good music and amazing cocktails , if you want to have a different evening with your friends you must to go in Playa. Something different and good in Baker street.. high reccomended

We had a table full of people and I was on my way out of the place to see some friends just outside when the manager came and grab my hand and started shouting that I haven't paid my bill! I said that I was coming back and there were obviously still people on our table so nothing to really worry about that much. I then proceeded to exit and he instructed the bouncer to block me on my way out shouting "Catch this man, he hasn't paid!" If it didn't actually made me feel utterly offended I would've taken it as hilarious and comic. At the end we did end up paying the sacred bill and while waiting outside for a taxi the hostess stormed out of Playa and started screaming to some random people on the street who were in complete oblivion as of what the heck was going on. The bouncer then pointed her to us (obviously she was again looking for us but didn't really know who we were) and said that we can't leave without paying (like we come from the jungle, I get it, we don't go to bars there and don't know what the social norms an expectations are). We explained that we had already paid and that the whole situation was getting really ridiculous and annoying and then one of the waitresses came out as well to finally confirm all dues were paid. The bouncer then cheekily smiled at our frowning faces and said that mistakes happen! Haha! At least he looked like he had a bit of sanity and any level of conscientiousness. On the plus side food and drinks were really good and to my opinion well priced and the music was adequately selected, but the staff's habit of automatically assuming criminal intentions at the slightest dislocation from one's table really ruins the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

I have already been 5 times to Playa and I highly recommend the açai martini, the best cocktail I have ever had. They have a very nice environment with live DJ, excellent music and the staff are very friendly. The foo is delicious and the good thing is that they serve it up until midnight.

its really a hidden gem - secluded and super shockingly suprising i got lucky to get in as its super duper exclusive and i was pampered the whole night and they had an amazing dj and amazing cocktails

From the Doorman to the bar staff, everyone welcomed us. The vibe is chilled and the drinks are excellent. Great spot, I’ll be a regular here
