Very good service - To be expected in chelsea. However the food was lacking perhaps they have got a tad lazy on their quality, especially for those prices.

This is a truly wonderful place to eat. We had come for lunch & the place was buzzing. The staff really know how to make dinning here a joy. We had the salmon salad & the shepherds pie & both were delicious. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, very friendly & this is wonderful to find. The manager Guiseppe runs this place extremely well & the atmosphere amongst the staff is great & they seem to really enjoy what they do. This restaurant is stylish, welcoming & the food is fantastic. Possibly the best restaurant in Chelsea. We really hope to visit again soon. Paul & Sue Gillett Great Eccleston

Great place for brunch! I had the English breakfast (I know not very adventurous but I had a hangover) which was excellent! The service was friendly and professional if a little slow. Overall certainly worth a visit!!!

Having had a decent time before went with family and friends to celebrate a birthday...From the moment we arrived and were put in the furthest corner of the upstairs area to the moment we left things did not go well. Got totally ignored by the waiter , sat with no menus or drinks for at least 15 minutes - found him more interested in putting candles on deserted tables. Eventually got our starters which were all excellent. Then waited a long time for our mains - the majority of which were incredibly overdone - there clearly was no-one checking the standard of the food leaving the kitchen! Pretty much all the steaks and duck were returned - all well done..we then waited an amazing time to get the replacements by which time the rest of the party had finished. We were offered desserts hoping that they might look after us - after 3 reminders and an incredible wait the desserts (all simple ones) arrived. The whole meal took us over 3 hours. The other comment I would make was that the restaurant was pretty much deserted so there was no atmosphere and also no excuse for the shocking service at the beginning and food. The evening was only saved by a lovely waitress who tried her hardest but the standard of the mains and the time it took to get served along with the fact that we felt that we had been hidden in the furthest reaches of the restaurant meant for a pretty awful evening which had been meant to be a special one.

We called in during a day out to London. It was New Year's Day, cold and pouring with rain. The restaurant was warm and cosy, we were made to feel very welcome and the gentleman who served us couldn't have been more helpful or professional. Our food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced for the area. This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. We will definitely return on our next trip to London. Thank you 😊

Abbiamo ordinato prima l'antipasto e abbiamo chiesto tempo per scegliere cosa mangiare poi. Finita la zuppa di cipolle, che sembrava più acqua alle cipolle con pane e formaggio, abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti prima che il cameriere si ripresentasse per togliere il piatto e prendere la seconda ordinazione (nonostante sia passato davanti a noi numerose volte). Sul menù vedo che negli ingredienti del risotto con frutti di mare c'è segnato "chilli". Chiedo quindi al cameriere se il piatto è piccante e la sua risposta è stata "No, davvero pochissimo"... probabilmente mangiare la lava avrebbe bruciato meno. Il sapore del risotto era completamente coperto dal peperoncino! Finiamo di mangiare e aspettiamo altri 20 minuti prima che qualcuno si degni di dirci qualcosa, tant'è che abbiamo deciso di alzarci direttamente noi a chiedere il conto. E qua la sorpresa! Un antipasto, due primi, una bottiglia d'acqua e due bicchieri di prosecco per la modica cifra di £98.18! Sul cibo ok ci eravamo fatti un'idea... ma £12 per il servizio è davvero un furto. Sconsigliato! Piccola chicca finale: tutti i camerieri erano italiani ma sia mai che potessero parlarlo con noi. Forse sanno che è una truffa e non vogliono fare brutta figura?

I have visited PJ’s many years ago but this time it was not a good experience due to the quality of the food. My son ordered steak, which was not cheap, and it was cold when it arrived. We sent it back but the second one was dry and overcooked. We didn’t complain as he was fine eating it. I ordered the chicken Paillard - the chicken was dry and hard. My other son ordered a burger again that was below average. All in all very disappointing. Definitely would not recommend. Don’t waste your money

I’ve been coming to PJ’s for years. Great place, super food and good, attentive service. We had a mixture of food, all of it delicious and will be back soon.

Bonne experience dans ce restaurant. J'ai réservé pour etre sur d'avoir une table. La nourriture etait trés bonne en quantité généreuse. J'ai pris le burger et je n'ai pas été décue. Ils ont aussi une carte de cocktail super avec de nombreux cocktails avec des ingredients qui sortent de l'ordinaire (lavande, violette, thym, etc), il y en a pour tous les gouts. Le service etait efficace. Je recommande

I really didn’t like the vibe in here from the start. Half full but given a terrible table crammed in to a corner by larger loud groups. Asked to move and the waitress rolled her eyes. One of the waiters is hoping to be discovered for Britain’s got talent as a whistler and walks around whistling elaborate harmonies to the music. Eggs benny is good though!

Came here for my birthday lunch today. My friends and I had an amazing time. The food was great and my extra chicken leg was a nice touch thanks to our brilliant Italian waiter. He was very helpful and nothing was too much. Lovely Margaritas and I will be coming back!!!

We were going nearby and we stopped thinking it was a coffee place. When we arrived we thought we were entering in a pub. As they were dog friendly it was perfect for us. It looks at first a bit an old pub, but the menu is a brasserie/bistrô style. We went dor a drink and got some pancakes. They were really nhami. Not super thick, so perfect to eat for breakfast. We went out for our event in Kings road, and when we finished we decided to come back here for lunch. The waitress saw us and welcome us back. When I mentioned if she could do the dame cocktail I had prior, I didn’t need to Mentioned anything else. This is amazing customer service. The food was lovely. Onion soup, truffle mac and cheese, eggs royal, curry. But the best for me was the scrambled eggs with chorizo. When we were leaving the girl even joke asking if we were coming back late. Definitely I recommended. And I plan to come when I am around. By the way the ceiling fan it is amazing

Smoothies and juices are not fresh at all. So don’t order them, they are water and sugar. Waiter wouldn’t let me order egg whites, or any kind of omelettes. Not sure how a chef can’t remove the yolk from the egg before frying it. It’s absolutely simple!

We visited on Sunday morning and had a wonderful experience! Not only was the food super delicious and great quality but the service was 5 stars! I will definitely be visiting again if the future thank you for a memorable experience :)

While visiting my relative at Royal Marsden Hospital, I went across the street for a bite to eat at this place. I ordered pancakes with crispy bacon, cappuccino and orange juice. First, I was served cold cappuccino, followed by the orange juice. Forty five minutes, later, a cold plate of Eggs Benedict with parma ham was slung in front of me, with the server telling me it was pancakes. As I was already running late, I ate some of this, but five or 10 minutes later, the pancakes also arrived. The server offered to box them up for me as a take away. What? I ate what I could of the cold Benedict, but left shortly thereafter. No apologies were ever offered. No thank yous, either. What a shocking excuse for a meal.

We were seated at 9:30. Order taken after a bit of a wait. Drinks eventually delivered at 10:15. Food after 11 for the starter. The server was friendly and professional but completely overwhelmed by the shear volume of tables she had to deal with. The kitchen obviously had the same problem. Whilst the food was good to wait for 45 plus minutes for a drink and more than 90 minutes for something to eat is not great, especially on NYE. The restaurant had a wonderful vibe and we were given a glass of champagne at midnight. I would not recommend it if you are not prepared to wait and wait and wait some more

My family and I have visited for dinner twice recently, both visits were late and last minute after trips to the nearby hospital and although they were very busy, the lovely Adriano looked after us with a warm and friendly service on each occasion. The food was fantastic...Arnold's Irish Coffees are deliciously done! I don't live close by, but I would definitely go regularly if I did. Highly recommend 👌

Visited twice. The food for dinner was very tasty and the service pleasant. We also stopped-by late in the afternoon for a pint. That was super-disappointing. Despite that fact that there were only a handful of patrons, the bartender ignored us and, instead, left to bar to talk to a friend. We finally got served. Completely ignored by 2 bartenders standing directly in front of us. When my glass was empty, we continued to be ignored. Decided to leave. Flagged down a bartender to pay, and he forgot to get my signature. Had to return to the pub from the street to sign. Lots of friendly pubs in Chelsea/South Kensington. This is not one of them.

Great place that's stood the test of time. the signature ceiling propellor fan is the standout of the decor. the food is a bit hit or miss but the cocktails are fantastic and great value. can never go wrong with a visit to PJs.

Beautiful steak tartare, perfect french fries and melba toast. Can't be beat and you don't need to go to Paris. Really fast, helpful, attentive service from all the staff from the minute I walked in the door.

Nice welcome at the bar , we had booked over the road for Malaysian restaurant, went back later for more cocktails and welcomed back which was very nice . My husband and I were going to eat at Bibendum last week and made the effort to return here which was again very enjoyable, we will definitely return and hope to have a meal here soon .

El bar y parrilla de PJ ha estado aquí durante décadas y recuerdo que en mi juventud me reuní aquí para tomar un cóctel o un brunch. Confortantemente, nada ha cambiado mucho. Tuvimos un almuerzo decente - burratina y calamares seguido de una excelente hamburguesa y lubina. Lo que realmente se destacó (o debería decir quién) fue nuestro camarero Fabio, que fue eficiente, atento y divertido. ¡Bien hecho Fabio, fuiste fabuloso!

They say not but I was very ill that evening and the suffering continued for the rest for the week. They investigated but said it was extremely unlikely they caused my illness that came on three hours after I ate oysters. I completely understand that oysters are high risk but their refusal to accept a problem is fundamental. They assured me that they have strict procedures for food safety but that's little comfort after the event. I'd give this restaurant a wide berth just for their customer service in dealing with a problem.

More for the locals than tourists this long established bar and diner manages to keep its menu up to date and its service great.

I have been here on several occasions with my fiance and the service has always been brilliant, the atmosphere is very warm, and although the restaurant is spacious it has a very intimate feel to it. They serve some real classics, which never disappoint and the selection of wines (especially by the glass) is very nice. I really highly suggest this restaurant to anyone who values service, as the waiters are so professional and polite.

Popped in here to eat on my own after work. Busy, but service was efficient & pleasant. Nothing fancy about the food, very nicely done with good portions & beautifully cooked. Felt very comfortable as a lone female eating and would return.

Tres generaciones de estadounidenses no pudieron encontrar el restaurante donde teníamos reservaciones y nos encontramos con PJ's. Tuve la mejor lubina que he comido. Mi esposa y mi hija comieron stroganoff, cuya esposa admitió que era mejor que la suya (y la suya es fantástica). El yerno tenía una gran porción de pato que compartía y era tierno y sabroso. Los tres nietos disfrutaron de su pescado y papas fritas y una ensalada. Buen ambiente. Servicio excelente y personal amable. Muy recomendable.

I was not quite sure about PJ’s - we decided to give it a try for a light lunch on the way to the V&A.; We really enjoyed it - the service was very good and they offer a very nice brunch menu on the weekend. Also, the wine list is good and there is bar seating if you’re in a hurry. Had the mini burgers with skinny fries. Nicely done PJ’s!

Pase por este lugar la mayoría de los días y nunca pensó en entrar. Tiene un ambiente de bar, pero un menú fijo para 25 parece casi demasiado barato para ser bueno en Chelsea. Era un día caluroso, así que comencé con una cerveza que se servía en un vaso frío y simplemente llegaba al lugar. Recientemente, organicé un gran evento de trabajo para nuestro día de creación de equipos con mi empresa y elegí PJ's Bar & Grill porque estaba cerca de nuestro lugar. Antonio, el Gerente General, fue excelente y la comunicación con respecto a la reserva de un grupo tan grande (más de 40 personas) fue extremadamente eficiente. Al llegar, nos llevaron directamente al piso de arriba, donde nos habían dado la totalidad del segundo piso; Era luminoso y aireado y muy espacioso. Helen, una de las empleadas de servicio, se presentó y estuvo presente durante toda la noche. El servicio fue eficiente y discreto y siempre aparecía alguien cuando los necesitabas, pero nunca estorbaban. Los cursos fueron muy oportunos y la comida perfecta; Fueron extremadamente complacientes con nuestra dirección a cada persona y los cursos salieron casi todos a la vez, ¡lo cual es muy raro para un grupo tan grande! También fue increíble la relación calidad-precio con tres platos de comida de buena calidad para 28. Me impresionó mucho y no dudaría en volver para cualquier evento, ya sea personal o corporativo.

Poco de una institución. La decoración no ha cambiado por treinta años o más. Ok menu, pero falla de alguna manera. Tal vez porque el chef indio no consigue este tipo de cocina internacional de Chelsea.

What a lovely, friendly, accommodating team. With my husband long term in Brompton hospital down the road an ideal place to be able to take him to when he’s allowed out . We were running a little late and even on an incredibly busy day they told us not to worry and to turn up when we were ready and our table would be there. Full marks for customer service!

Have walked past this place but never gone in so I thought I would give it a try.

Have passed this place many times, so thought I'd try it. Four of us went to dinner, and the food was very good. Two of us had two starters, as they all sounded delicious. I had the Salmon and Avocado, which was delicate, but tasty. And the Haddock Souffle was good too. My friends had first and second courses, which included Shepherds Pie, and Seabass Ceviche. The bill came to £286.31. I thought this was quite expensive as two of us had two starter courses. This also included two bottles of wine. One white, and one red. The bill was paid, and it was only when I checked it later it later I saw that we were charged for two gin and tonics which we did not have. At a cost of £33.00. And three glasses of Macon Villages, when only one was ordered. This came to £21.45. We really enjoyed the food, the service was good, and the place has a nice atmosphere. Just make sure you check your bill before you pay it!

Have not been here for a few years.... whow! It’s practically a care home. This used to be a fun and hip place. It is now a sad shadow of its former self with the prize for the smallest and most expensive martini.......As for the pitta and humous, how can you get that so wrong????

We have been coming here after my six monthly check ups for years - surprised at some of the reviews below as we've always found the service impeccable, the ambiance welcoming and warm, and on the occasions when we've eaten - no complaints. We will certainly return.

Great place. Bar buzzing on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Very efficient and charming barman. Lunch upstairs - we were a table for 10 - was absolutely brilliant. Lovely food and again very good service. We all really enjoyed it and can't wait to come back - Rowan de Aragues

We came for a glass of wine and to browse the menu as we were looking for somewhere to eat the evening after. In the event the breakfast menu looked appealing too so we were expecting to spend a lot of time here, our hotel being just across the road.

Neighborhood restaurant that looks like is getting the overflow from the now gone Brasserie a few blocks down. Happy to have found it. We'll return.

A mixed experience, from quite friendly and helpful staff to a very tasty steak, to having to chase wine orders and condements, to a so-so club sandwich. Would I go back? Sure, if I was in the area, I'd consider it.

Tengo que estar en desacuerdo con las críticas negativas anteriores: tuvimos una cena improvisada el lunes por la noche (era el cumpleaños de mi marido) y disfrutamos mucho de nuestra comida. Teníamos el filete frito de lubina y era muy sabrosa, tamaño decente de la porción y bien cocinado. Uno de nuestro grupo tenía el bacalao marinado en miso y eso también era bueno, al parecer. El servicio fue excelente y el ambiente bueno. Hay algunos artefactos interesantes y el camarero explicó amablemente su historia, ¡muy interesante! Cuando el camarero se dio cuenta de que era el cumpleaños de mi esposo, se apresuró a buscar una vela para poner en su desierto, lo que fue un buen toque.

We literally stumbled across this nice little place after a visit to the V&A;, strolling around the gorgeous streets of Chelsea. Again, no reservation, but they sat us at the bar and it was very comfortable. We both ordered the Sunday roast beef with Yorkshire pud, potatoes, parsnips, carrots and broccolini, and it was very good, beautifully rare and well seasoned.

I went this restaurant last week. The food was nice, atmosphere was good as well, it was perfect to enjoy our Thursday dinner with few drinks. And also service was amazing, Thank you for nice serving us for Roberta and recommendation drinks as well. It was great. We enjoyed our dinner so much.

Some Tripadvisor reviews for PJ's are not so complimentary but we found PJ's to be exceptional. We were there relatively early (600pm) on a Saturday night and could not fault the service or the food. Based on our experience PJ's is highly recommended!

We just stopped here for a quick drink, no food this time but will return very soon to “my” London and definitely have a dinner here. I lived in Chelsea, just several streets from this restaurant in Drayton Gardens in early 80’s but professionally far away abroad since then so it’s always nice to come back as I consider this area as my second home.

My sister chose PJs for her birthday lunch last Saturday; we all opted for the bottomless prosecco! I am always sceptical as to whether such deals are worth it! I was pleasantly surprised - PJs offer prosecco, mimosa’s or bloody Mary’s - I was quite surprised that they took a flexible approach and allowed us to mix our orders! While most of us started with mimosas and then moved onto prosecco my sister tried all three drinks on offer. The waitress was kind enough to let us know ten minutes before the offer came to an end so we could all order last drinks! We all enjoyed our mains and our time at PJs the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and my mum was given her main for free after the waiter accidentally spilt a drink on her! All was forgiven because we had a wonderful lunch and my sister thoroughly enjoyed celebrating her birthday at PJs. We have been visiting there for over 10 years and it’s lovely to know that it’s service and good food as always. We will be back. Thank you PJ for being consistently good!

my steak was not medium rare and was replaced immediatelly. received also a discount when I'va asked the bill

Most everyone in the dining room when we were there on a semi-busy Thursday night seemed to be enjoying one of the several steak and chips dishes. Being from the US, steak is not going to be my first choice in London (based not on my opinion, but that of the many Brits whom I dine with in he US). I had the sea bass and my wife had the gnocchi, both of which were tasty. The service was quite good until the end when we seemed to have been forgotten around bill paying time.

Tolle Atmosphäre. Leckeres Essen mit meinem Sohn. Guter Wein, nette Bedienung, große Auswahl und am Ende einen gelungen Abend erlebt. Hatten 2 x Fleisch und die Qualität war toll.

Estaba buscando algo para comer y decidimos por PJ's, ya que no había sido durante años. Hecho como un bistró francés, llegamos tarde y no estaba lleno, así que nos dieron una mesa. Muy amable y servicial que siempre ayuda a la camarera, que no nos apresurábamos estuvo bien ya que teníamos mucho que hablar. Tuvimos una comida deliciosa, pero la luz era el abadejo hola soufflé. Podría haber quedado toda la tarde pero por desgracia ha de llegar, volveremos.

I’ve passed a few times tempted each time and heard from friends that it’s great which was confirmed when I had possibly the best steak I’ve ever eaten, not to mention the waiters and manageress being extremely sweet! I’ll look forward to returning soon!

Como un paciente en el Royal Marsden he pasado pijama y nos preguntábamos que sería comer en pijamas. Hoy me aventuré en y nunca ir de nuevo. El personal era grosero y quedó allí manifiestas en espacio abierto en lugar de servir. Mi marido finalmente fuimos al bar a lugar de nuestra orden y me dijeron que el camarero sin tomar su pedido. Realmente nos hubiera gustado salimos en ese momento el camarero hosco miserables que enfrentan no es lo que quieres cuando estás tratando de animarte con anticipación una cita de cáncer. No, no lo recomiendo. No me nunca ponen un pie en el pomposo cara, pretencioso establecimiento nunca más.

На Фулхэм роад по дороге на стадион. Весьма интеллигентный бар. Здесь не пьют разливное пиво. В основном -вино. Публика соответствующая, если и болельщики, то из Челси, буквально в бабочках все, или на худой конец, в галстуках. Кухня тоже симпатичная, можно хорошо перекусить. Бар для pre или after party.
