Me and my boyfriend waited over half an hour and they forgot about it even though it was not busy. We then waited another half an hour to get said pizza and we were disappointed as it wasn’t even tasteful. My boyfriend then asked for a bit of money back due to us waiting over an hour , 10 minutes later they responded with “give us the pizza and we’ll give you the £12” so we just left. I am appalled at the lack of service and the rudeness, I most likely won’t be coming back

One of the best pizza places anywhere in the world in my opinion. When it opened probably 35 years ago there was nothing like this quality of pizza anywhere else in N Ireland. I discovered a lifelong love of chilli sauce in the Funghi with hot chili, and I’ve been looking forward to an Alla-Re since I booked my flights home to Ireland six months ago.

Asked if the pizza bases were egg free because my other half has a severe egg intolerance. Staff member which looked and acted like the owner/manager said they were egg free. Imagine our surprise when it turns out he lied and she's now being violently sick. Now imagine if instead of a tolerance it was an allergic reaction. Avoid this place, they'd clearly let you be sick just for the sweet 12 pounds. Edit: Not sure if I should be concerned that your only just now trying to defend yourself over a year later. If your dough really is egg free, which let's be honest, it wasn't then, why would she have been sick otherwise? Only other reason would be that your food in general made her sick throughout the night. Choice is yours as to what did it, but at the end of the day, only food she had that night was yours, and she was violently ill that night.

Only after going in for 2 number 14" pizzas 1no chip and two garlic dips. Iv been getting pizza outa this place this year's 30odd. When I got served he the (owner) give me an extra chip and said £18.80 I said no you've made a mistake it's more like £40. He wouldn't take a penny more even handed me change back out of £20. What a nice gesture for my continued custom. I couldn't recommend this place any more . Food is great and the owner is a gentleman.

Best pizza and kababs in Newcastle and verry good price

Loved this place for years. Came back home due to some poor health and got a pollo pizza, had a bit of confusion with the pronunciation because I said it the Spanish way and it annoyed the server but I understand that it was a bit of confusion between us both when communicating. The staff are all very nice. Best pizza in Newcastle :) I'll be back again next time I'm home, such a great spot

Just went and ordered the new carbonara & it was beautiful! 10/10 for the amount of flavour and the amount of food was amazing! Garlic bread is a good touch! This town has needed a new pasta place! Well done lads! 👏

Very disappointed buy a pizza just a while ago and told the young lady 12’inch pizza,and got 10’inch just. Love theirs pizza but everytime we order we got a wrong one.

Got a 14” Hawaiian pizza £12, garlic dip £1 and Diet Coke bottle £1.80. Everything was delicious. Staff were friendly too!!

Cost of living crisis must have hit this place. There's more meat on a butcher's apron than on one of their pizzas. The 12 inch pizza base is about as thick as a communion wafer. Don't waste your money.

I ordered of just eat to one of the caravan park in Newcastle and the meal was amazing, hot aswell. Would definitely recommend this place.

First time trying & the pizza was lovely & the gravy chips omg unreal so dam delicious 😋 can't wait to get more will be back this week again

Ordered via the Justeat app for 6.45pm...arrived at 6pm. (Didn't want to 'shoot the messenger' though deliverer apologised). Rang Pizza Palazzo to complain (I already have food in foil in my oven), call taker spoke to someone (who didn't seem very pleasant) in background: they did ask if I wanted a re-delivery (waste of food so...), I declined offer. In retrospect, I should have asked for refund!!!! Not too pleased!!

Daylight robbery. £7 mixed kebab on chip, smallest, nastiest and driest kebab I've ever had the unfortunate to presented. The mixed kebab was 95% cold cheap doner meat, a hand full of chips and a dab kebab sauce straight out of the bottle. The girl behind the counter had a face of her that could sour milk and was clearly raging that people actually coming in to order. Hunger is preferable to eating this again.

Everytime we come down to Newcastle. We love there pizza, we bought tonight we are really disappointed it’s burnt and the base is really really thin now. 😢😢😢🙁☹️

Ordered on just eat , estimated deliver time was 30 mins but ended up waiting over an hour and a half! Had to just drive up there and was told they hadnt even starting making it so had to wait another 15 mins! Had a doner kebab that was burnt and completely flavourless, sauce tasted weird (not pleasant) and pita was stale. Actually got sick afterwards. £6.50 for a gross kebab! Will not be back. If you want a good kebab just go next door to the kebab house, £5 and tastes great have never let me down with food quality and and deliveries! Very let down by pizza palazzo ☹️

Half an hour before closing and wouldnt take an order won't be the last you'll hear from me you'll regret this mark my words

£6.50 for donor on chips we'll to be honest 5 small pieces of donor meat on chips ridiculous and to ring and be hung up on absolutely shocking only good thing pizza was nice but £21 and there staff r so ignorant 🙄👌

Stinking worst pizza iv ever ate, order a chip and tub of gravy but chips were not even cooked and the gravy was everywhere threw it all in the bin couldnt eat any of it. Never ever in my life will i eat outta here again waste money

Pizzas are powerful and the tastiest in county down i got a large pizza with bacon.salami.pineapple.onion..my favourite..and for my son and his girlfriend he got ham.bacon.and sweetcorn and a gravey chip

Excellent pizza apart from the fact it had additional meat(donar) which was not requested as we don't like it. Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The pizza is sometimes really great, but only sometimes. The suace is the best part about the pizza and I have bought food for years at this place. I would have given a 4 or even 5 if you nailed the consistency of your food, but mostly I get disappointed. Additionally on just eat there are some payment issues, but I don’t know if Pizza Palazzo or Just Eat is at fault.

Cheap pizza that's really tasty and freshly made to order

Lovely tasty pizza and really hot we had to let it cool before we could eat it. Lovely owner and friendly staff. We were visiting on our holidays and will be back again when in the area.

If you want a soggy pizza this is the place to go! I did ask if they would replace it so they re heated it and it was burnt. I waste of £23. Go elsewhere.

Not bad food. Just the ticket after a few beers. Not sure I'd take a lady there for a romantic meal. Unlikely to meet a classy lady there that isn't arseholed and desperate for a food fix. Burger and chips was nice. Pizzas seemed popular.

Always been my favourite local pizza place to order from on weekends, have yet to find a nicer place to get pizza aside from chain restaurants in my opinion :)

Ordered quite abit of food from here. We had a little big of everything really and nothing was nice. Chips were soggy and tasted like frozen supermarket chips, the garlic mushroom, what garlic?? And so soggy, the kebabs not nice at all the chicken tasted off and the salad was terrible. Left us feeling sick. Would not recommend pizza palazoo newcastle co down. Although the delivery was in good time and the delivery man was friendly and polite. If i could have gave it zero stars i would have unfortunately that was not an option.
