Pizza Palace in Sunderland

I used to order alot from here, always a mixed kebab wrap.. was always just decent but tonight its was well over an hour late at 1:40am, cold not even a wrap it was thrown together and open... never again.

The base was just dough, inedible

First time here. Great prices and a good selection of food to pick from. I ordered a kebab wrap and my colleague ordered a chicken donner kebab. We ordered via online orders. The process was easy to follow. Food came on time ni problems.

The staff have a disgusting attitude... Keep away!!!!

Ordered from here today & never again. Delivery came 40 minutes late. Worst food ever. Everything was cold. The quality of the food was very bad. Wings were very soggy, tasteless & definitely not fresh. Chicken fillets in the burgers were half the size of the bun which they didn’t be bothered to even toast. All you could taste in the chicken wrap was pickled cabbage & kebab wrap was so dry & full of pickled cabbage as well. Where do I start with the Parmesan?? A total waste of time, money & food! I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered back in October and food was lovely but just spent my last 20£ tonight and the food was absolutely mingin. Horrible as I had a long day and just wanted a hot meal. Cannot believe how inconsistent this place seems to be based off of other reviews as well. Jekyll and Hyde of restaurants.

Always my first choice for pizza/kebab takeaway. Delivery is always quick (delivery is cheaper or free depending on delivery location if you order directly from pizza palace website instead of Justeat. Usualy works out on average a saving of approx £5 compared to ordering via justeat by the time you take delivery charges & service/bag charges etc that Justeat charge ). Pizzas & kebab wraps always tasty & the kebab wraps are massive and quite cheap. My only gripe would be the sizes of the garlic dip , the small is tiny so i always order a large but they arent large pots they are just the size that they usually come in when ordering from anywhere, i,d rather they increased dip prices but actually offered a large instead of very small and small as the large they sell is only adequate for 1 person so i always need to order 2 large for myself and partner to have 1 each as like i say they are just the normal size thats classed as small everywhere else..(very nice garlic fip however😋 )

Oreder cake they didn't have it in store so they rang to inform me I said cancel my order but still took money out me account and called but never bothered to refund me still waiting. Really disappointed in them.

Chips were cold and food was uncooked no point of this shop

Ordered for delivery. Was very quick so was concerned but was absolutely beautiful!! Everything piping hot and amazing quality, really good prices too. Will never order from anywhere else now

Can’t believe I’m writing this, never the one to complain about my food but this is absolutely outrageous, after spending 26 pound on food I get a mixed kebab wrap that looks like me dogs dinner with 4 chips in, I also paid 3 pound for a 1.5 litre bottle of coke and received a 2 litre one from Aldi I was absolutely blown right out.

So after seeing the mixed reviews I thought I'd give this place the benefit of the doubt and give it a try and only have myself to blame for the money I've just wasted. As alot of people have stated, food is burnt, not much taste other than the taste of burnt food which is absolutely right! They've managed to burn and also undercook the very same pizza. Burnt all around the sides but then undercooked in the middle as though they've put the oven on full temp and frizbied the pizza through. Bit of a shame

Saw the review on the Blot Outdoor Show ( YouTube ) and decided to give it a try, was not disappointed, food tremendous, we got the Kebab Box for £16.50 , everything was spot on, no complaints, brilliant value. You have 2 new customers.

Food was so fresh got the kebab box chicken was loverly had a loverly taste to it kebab was nice how I like it thin , chilli sauce is to die for , u get a lot off food for your money well worth it

Nice food but since the price increases this is probably the only pizza shop that I know that has rocketed there prices up. Maybe look at the prices again but impart from that never had a bad meal off them

Ordered through deliveroo and at 22:40. It said it would be here at 23:40. The food never came, no call or anything. Now I have no food and it's too late to order anywhere else. What a shambles.

The garlic gave me and my family diorreaa. Bad dont order garlic.

Ordered from here for first time and will be the last. Very poor quality taste of food. Kebab meat had very queer taste. Pizza was adequate.

Would never order from here ever again! Ordered a 16inch kebab wrap with chips, it come cold with hardly any kebab or chips inside, and to top it off the food was minging, would strongly advise not to order from this shop

Very bad service. Never mind the customer I'm having fun with my mate. That's an attitude of the guy which has been serving me. Wrong order. Like 50% cheaper. And when i rang about it he was: I'll sort u for that tomorrow ore next time u will come... First he wouldn't remember me, i never been there before. Second i wouldn't ever go there again. Ps. Been asking for some salt on it as well. And there's none of it on. Chips with no salt tasteless...

Well i 'll write about food as soon as ive had it but before then i must complement the girl on the phone, she was lovely to deal with , explained everything so well, she is a great member of staff, if the food is as good as her attitude ill be having a lovely meal. THANK YOU ☆☆☆☆☆

Food is great. Always had prompt service and great staff. Pizzas are lovely.

I ordered from work through Uber eat and the estimated delivery time was 10-25 minute I didn’t get my takeaway until after 1hr 30mins

Finished a 12 hour shift, very hungry, and asked for kebab meat and chips tonight . Drive 4 miles back to my place only to find it’s a container full of kebab meat 😡😡😡. No chips!!

I got my food late and my milkshake has some rice, and my cake was so dry like its been there for 6 months, so tough. And my fries are so dry. I wasted my money. I was so disgusted, I felt like sick.

16 inch wrap , absolute disgrace barely warm , try ifry hylton rd and compare it

I ordered the mega box meal it came and was vile the chicken wings were rock hard could barely bite them the burger was soggy and half the batter was gone not spicy at all and there was about 6 chips also the salsa dip was missing! I also ordered a chocolate pizza which was an absolute disgrace definitely not worth the money you pay. Would not recommend!!

Never again!! Ordered pizza and cheesy garlic bread. Garlic bread was an absolute disgrace. They must of forgot to put the cheese on before cooking it so they slapped abit cheese on the top and melted it. Also pizza wasnt as nice. They sent a proper garlic bread out after i eventually got in touch but i will not be using them anymore!! Ashame as it was the only pizza shop i used!!

My usual take away . I've tried quite a few but this one tops it . It's clean .the staff are very polite. You can see food being cooked . And the food is fantastic. Pizzas are brilliant and covered with fresh toppings ...ok I've talked myself into a chicken kebab gonna sign off and order. :)_ you got to give these people a try

Yummy food served up by our one and only local legend Mansall... Keep up the top pizza cheffing dude.... Plus if manta knows you personally his portions are huge
