Pizza Nova - Wheatley Hill in County Durham

Pizza Nova is my local takeaway and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I've even got friends who come from Bramdon and Hesldon just for there food!!! The food is beautiful everytime and the service is second to none wether it's the lasses behind the till to the delivery driver! All are spot on!!! 👌

I just asked for a hotshot parmo and some kebab meat for my dog. They started shouting at me about my order, wasn’t here for it. I ended up finishing the call because they were so rude. Awful service. Truly not a good experience Advice: Go elsewhere, they’re not good people

Ordered a 16" pizza and it was 12" with a 2" wide crust, paid for extra cheese which didn't happen. Never again!

Hands down one of the best things about wheatley hill tbh, food has always been spot on! we have never had any issues with delivery always way quicker than its supposed to be! the price is so good too, literally our favourite takeaway. Not to be dramatic but if i ever move out of wheatley hill ill miss this place

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Food arrived after 2 and a half hours. Had been told TWICE that the food was on the way, the second time they admitted that it had only been sent out 5 minutes before. So had clearly lied previously. Refused to issue a refund as "the order is already out". Then when the food did arrive, the pizza was cool and the portion of meat and chips was tiny (half a box).

Well first time I’ve been disappointed with anything from here ordered a special chicken kebab with a portion of chips it was a pick up. got it home kebab meat was cut with a razor blade chicken wasn’t to bad chips were hard as bell metal usually we share even portion size has shrunk we put a big order in once a month with family think I’ll try somewhere else for a change

Our new go to takeaway. Finally found one thats consistent in being good quality food at reasonable prices. Only problem i have found and its more preference, the cheese wasnt melted on cheezy chips. I like it melted and stringy but thats my preference. Breaded mushrooms didnt ladt long, gorgeus. Mixed kebab would have fed 2.

absolutely shocking. Its a Tuesday night so not a busy one, we ordered one kebab at 8:55pm and at 22:50 still havent recieved it. Its one item, if it was a big order i would be more understanding. Pleasant lady apologised on phone and says its with driver but far too late we have had to eat something already so food will be wasted. Never ever had this problem with any other takeaways.

I found a daddy-long legs in my food

Daddy long legs was found on top of my nan bread baked into it and melted.

Absolutely perfect Chicken Wraps, Nothing compared to anywhere else.

Been to pizza nova lots of times. Never a problem. Recently had the chicken tikka wrap which was a complete mess. Thought we'd give it another go. Got a chicken and sweet corn pizza. The next day my partner and me were very ill. Diarrhoea, heart palpations, hot and cold flushes, fainting, headaches. All symptoms of salmonella poisoning Horrible experience. Will be reporting to the council.

Absolute shambles!! Won't be ordering again. Not first time this has happened they forget things from order, call you a liar then won't replace after saying they would. Done a charge back on them at the bank anyway so no loss to me now. Stay clear!!!

Orded a chicken amd kebab wrap got hpne on ly chicken in ot was soggy and disgusting never will use again

Have always ordered from here but tonight I was shocked with the amount of kebab meat we received tonight we ordered kebab meat and chips three times they must have shared one portion of kebab meat between the three of us

tried to bill me double delivery charge to put a mistake on my order correct

Very good, I will recommend this takeaway for anyone who likes quick food, good service but make sure before collection, check meet was cooked properly once we had raw cebab.

I’ve been here few times before and its normally good but I ordered a few days ago to get a pizza and onion rings, I waited over an hour which I didn’t mind and I ended up with food poisoning don’t even know how this happened but I ended up going from fine to cold sweats and being sick I don’t mean to make the business look bad but something needs to be done

I'll never order from here again after waiting 2hours for food it never waste of time if i could give less than 1 star I would

I am not from this area, but on my way back from newcastle i bumped into this take away shop, and the staff were the loveliest bunch of lads, Food Was Unreal.

Ordered Parmos from here loads of times the parmos are huge unfortunately last time they didn’t put jalapeños on my hot shot and this time they forgot the garlic sauce very disappointing although they resolved the problem within 30 mins of the order arriving it ruins the meal when you missing items

Ordered from here several times . They can be later than the agreed time, however food is well worth the wait. Kebab pizza is delicious .

I have really enjoyed the food,

Staff that answer the phone are rude, asked to be taken off their SMS offers after trying to unsubscribe twice and that failing. They put the phone down on me! Had ordered food from here twice before and found it to be greasy and luke warm, delivery took over 90 minutes and collection wasn't much better.

Ordered food 2 hours ago still waiting now. When I ordered food it said 1 hour.

Ordered from here nearly 3 hours ago still no food arrived and phones switched off so can't even ask where our food is. Definitely wont be ordering from here again and most certainly will not recommend.

99% of the time i order from pizza nova the food is at an acceptable quality, lovely taste and good portion sizes.

Had food poisoning a few times from here. Half of it is usually burned, the rest undercooked. 90% grease.

Never rare on time mostly 2 hours late and cold would not recommend

1st time we have used them after local advice .Will be number one on the speed dial from now on. Great food,lovely staff.

This is the 3rd time i have orded food from this fast fod restaurant and it has by no means been fast 3. Hours ive been waiting. And all they can say is the are busy and only have one driver. I am sorry but if thts the case hire more, why should it be the costumes that suffer because of the lack of business skill this shop is providing. Since the it has been tking over by new mangement it has gone down hill. An this hurts becasue it was a really lovely and quick place to order from i carnt sy the same now

I have waited over 2 and a half hour for my tea and it is still not here. I have to say I am very disappointed and this is not the first time it's been later don't think I will be ordering from here anytime soon.

Placed a large order for 5 last week 4 meals were fine however received the chicken kebab with the pitta bread missing and a hair in the garlic, tried again today ordered a chicken wrap instead of the kebab which was missed off the order altogether, a lovely lady agreed to deliver it for me and when it came it was wrong. Was a regular but wont be using again.

Best takeaway pizza I've ever had

I love your food very tasty but must drop you points on the salad loads of cabbage one peice of tomato one peice of cucumber dosnt make a salad other wise rest of food is good . Good delivery

Missing parts of my order, when rang up to ask where it is for the second time, I was verbally abused and an angry forgien man threatened to come to my house, police had to be informed, I also have still not recived a refund or the food , avoid this place the treatment is discracefull regular customers mite I add

After 1 and half hours i phoned and could tell they had forgot my order. At 10.30pm I just cancelled the order. Very disappointing

Cannot believe if you order a thin10in garlic bread you have to pay extra pound even though its actually an 8in stretched so the less dough you get the dearer it is disgusting

Raw chips burnt parmo waste of money AGAIN

Last night we ordered a takeaway we were told an hour delivery, we rang and they said they would send the order. It still hadnt came after another hour of waiting, we rang again and waited another 10 minutes. We ordered again tonight as we were late in and the estimated delivery time was 11.25pm. It is now 00.13 and still havent received our food. However it says it was delivered at 11.50pm. Thank goodness i only selected pay with cash on just eat and didnt pay upfront by card. Avoid this place!

Food is spot on and yhe kebab wraps are huge.
