Pizza Nareno in Darlington

Great food, we always look forward to having a pizza from here! Please bring back the big pots of garlic sauce!

I have travelled globally and the pizza I got from the shop matched some of my favourite slices from New York City. I’m not even exaggerating the pie was not greasy. The cheese pull exceptionally well without falling from the base. There were multiple cheeses and it was loaded with toppings in an American style all while managing to be piping hot. Improve the sauce recipe and you will really have a special product. Well done lads.

Ordered 2 portions of Donner meat and chips, with garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was watery and tasteless, Donner meat was soaked in grease and as such drowned the chips below. No taste to anything. Definitely won't be ordering from here again, shocked at the current rating!

Food come 10 minutes early hot and delicious. first time ordering from here as not from the area and just dog sitting. It can be scary ordering somewhere new but I’ll be using again in next week while I’m here

Over an hour late. Cold food. No apology when delivered. Won’t be ordering again.

Food was an hour late. Was told it was on the way when we rang and ended up waiting 20 minutes when we live a 5 minute drive away. Pizza was stone cold and burger and bun was burnt.

Saturday night takeaway. Always spot on and the staff are great.

Ordered loads of times through just eat so thought I'd order through the takeaway. Only wanted a donner wrap meal with some chilli sauce. Refused to deliver even though I'm less than 5 minutes away as it wasn't over £10. Won't bother again through just eat you've lost business very silly.

Milkshakes were terrible and paid £5 each. Rang up to complain and they were not prepared to do anything about it.do not order the milkshakes!

Had family around so ordered a few extra things we don’t normally have . It was all very good and everyone commented on the quality.

Why do we get fooled everytime?! Order for delivery is always wrong or cold but when you ring to complain it is your fault and not theirs, shame really, when you get a good pizza it is awesome!! We just got an extra burger with our latest order!! Never ordered a burger, was told just throw it away!!!How are they still in business if that is their attitude to food waste???

Food orders always wrong. Staff aren't bothered, shops gone majorly downhill

Amazing! Was mouth watering pizza. Can tell it was freshly made. No grease on it at all. Cooked to perfect. The perfect amount of cheese and toppings and the chips were cooked perfectly.

Superb customer service and the food is always fantastic.

Have ordered from here since we moved to the area but I was disgusted tonight … the Parmo was extremely salty, the pizza was old dough & the whole order was freezing !

The only problem is I ordered a portion of chips and asked for NO SAUCE and they turned up covered in garlic mayo. This is the third time that it has happened. Maybe an option for just a portion of chips would be better. This is the third time my child has not been able to have any chips with his dinner from them.

Food tased good, but needed to be warmed up. It arrived 35 minutes late. Which appears to be a feature of this restaurant, every time I order from them it’s always over 30 mins later than stated.

2 hours from order to "delivery" , I say delivery as despite clear instructions to quite possibly the easiest house to find in town I got a call 2 hours after order from the driver saying he was lost, went to the end of the drive and he was 20 yards away! Handed it me upside down through the car window ! Pizza it's self was quite nice after 10 mins in the air fryer to resurrect it

Wouldn’t answer the phone so never got an update despite numerous calls. Requested money off but just ignored the request through just eat

Left it at front desk house and time I finally found out without them telling me what they done was freezing useless won’t order again

Normally like the food but tonight was awful. Pretty sure the doner was the frozen type and the parmo tasted like it was off. Portion size great as usual Pizza was still decent too

Food great but delivery price on just eat is ridiculous £4 compared to foodhub £1.50 for deliveries in village.

I ordered my food at 5.30pm and it didn’t arrive until 7.30pm!! I had to call the 3 times. I was working through the evening so couldn’t leave where I was - it’s literally only 3 mins drive from the pizza shop! Sadly the food was stone cold when it arrived.

Part of the order was late as this was missed off when first delivered Extremely disappointed that a Large chicken Kebab is 6 small pieces of chicken with a pitta bread. Never known a take away not serve chips with a kebab and if a large kebab is 6 small bits of chicken at £7 how small is a regular kebab?? I purchased for 3 people and all 3 the same- would not have satisfied a small child. I buy regular meals from this take away and it should state that you will pay an extortionate amount of money if you get chicken kebabs so please don't bother. The other meals with this order were lovely and no complaints with good value. definitely will not be buying the kebabs again any time soon. Called to speak to the manager who really couldn't help, only advised me not to buy from there in the future if I was not happy.

Food was piping hot delivered early. Large parmo hotshot was perfect not over the top just really good quality chicken and ingredients. Will be ordering for our treat again this evening. Thank you guys awesome service!!

Food was ok; quite greasy and not particularly flavourful. Felt unwell after the chicken kebab so would not have again.

Pizza was nice but barely warm even though I collected early. Slightly frustrating but still decent enough.

The food we ordered tonight was awful, the cheese chips & garlic was stuck to the packaging and chips tasted barely cooked, the calzone was undercooked, soggy and greasy, this is our local pizza takeaway and unfortunately tonights order was not up to standard at all, I can’t say I won’t order from here again, however it will be a long time before I consider doing so, such a shame.

For the 2nd time my order came very late and cold. I had to phone to chase my order. I complained to the driver who basically said if you are unhappy don't order from us again. So I won't be. The food is middle of the road quality so won't be missed to much anyway.. just a shame when trying to support a small local take away.

For the 2nd time my order was late and cold. With no communication from them. When I complained to the driver, I was told not to order again if I was unable. Poor customer service. Will not use again.

The delivery driver said they were busy, I think the restaurant should call and let you you if your food is going to be late. Also there should be a reduction in price depending on how late it is. .. ie. £2 deduction for every 10/15 mins they are late.

Seems to have gone down hill as not first time I’ve had issues with food. This time around it looked liked food had been dropped as had came out of bag. Tried ringing but had no luck

Food was okay, nothing special. It’s the only takeaway in the village so we use it, but it wouldn’t take much competition to beat it. I put a note on the just eat delivery order but it wasn’t read or actioned. That’s why I put poor for service.

Have always gone to Narenos but recently the quality has been poor. Unfortunately tonight will be the last time I will be ordering as the food was so bad we didn’t eat. It looks and tastes like they ran out of cheese and just covered it in cheddar! Greasy and awful

Missing chips and ordered XL kebab had 3 bits of chicken in 🤷🏼 don’t get me wrong was tasty but value for money not so great and missing items off a small order after paying for them is not great. Shame because we live in the village and would of been handy to have a go to place.

Absolute awful customer service pre booked a collection arrived on time and food was freezing due to them not reading time on the app customer service was nothing we can do surely something could be done ? Won’t use again and use regular

Food’s always reliably ok, but the service was appalling. I arrived at the collection time, told them my order, and then sat and waited for a further 25 minutes while they all pretended not to notice me! Not impressed.

Ordered the food at 20:20, estimated delivery time was 21:05 - 21:25. Food didn’t arrive so asked for an update and was then told it wouldn’t arrive until 21:55 because they were busy with only one driver. Asked to cancel the order and we were told it was leaving there and then. When it did eventually arrive the parmo chips were very bland, no flavour at all. Parmo was ok but again the chips that came with that were very bland.

The food was vile. Chips were cold and soggy. Chicken parmo was the worse parmo I have ever eaten.

I ordered an extra pitta bread and salad but there wasn’t any extra salad. I am not coming back to the takeaway for just the extra salad. Please take care next time!

Mixed kebab was beautiful as always pizza was lovely too not greasy delivered on time too. Highly recommend

Sent the wrong order and put cheese in the wrap when asked for non and couldn’t eat it as I can’t eat dairy

My order was well over a hour late after ringing to find out where It was I was told it had just left the restaurant when it arrived it was all cold 😡 so I rang the restaurant to tell then it had finally arrived but was cold to be told ‘ PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE ‘. 😡😡😡 furious doesn’t come close

Food may have been nice but was cold when it finally arrived. It took 2 phone calls to get it fonally delivered. In total it was 1 hrs 30 mins late as drivers could not find address even though it's only 1 mile away.

Food was barely warm & had to reheat in microwave . Not good considering we only live 3mins from shop . Never had an issue before .

Really enjoyed the pizza, the topping was excellent and the stuff crust was really soft and not over cooked. Big improvement and will keep going back

Food absolutely gorgeous. Mixed wrap flavours were amazing, piping hot and so tasty. Not greasy like normal takeaways. Chips were cooked to perfection. Bbq parmo again, delicious 🤤. Couldn’t fault anything other than having to go collect after paying for delivery.

Decided to give them a second chance after reading good reviews. We stopped using them as they were always very late. Ordered at 18.15 Told it would be 45 minutes. Food arrived, finally, at 20.19. 4 very hungry and grumpy children and 2 annoyed adults. Will not be using again. Being honest about how long the food will take to arrive means people can make a choice to wait or go elsewhere. Lying about how long it will take is disappointing.

Not ordered from here for a long time but got good reviews from other people so tried them again. Never again is all I can say totally wrong order rang up and blamed the driver when we had collected then couldn't find my order and had to tell them 5 times what was wrong with it abosolutely terrible.

We pre ordered food, they turned up 40 minutes early. Told them to come back with fresh food at the right time as we were putting our baby to bed. Eventually came back with what turned out to be the same food. Cold. Wooden. And late haha. You have to laugh. New pizza shop for us.

Food from here is always spot on, nearly always earlier than specified and tastes great. Staff are always really warm and friendly aswell. Would highly recommend

The sheek kebab was quite rubbery and the parmo chips weren’t too normal standard.

The delivery time was fabulous but the pizza was incorrect (no tomato base) and the curly fries were over cooked and cold

So unhappy - pizza nareno is our go to takeaway and since being taken over has just gone downhill so much so I will not be ordering from here - the pizza is rubbish, chilli sauce terrible and just wish we could have the old management back ☹️☹️☹️

Great double pepperoni and salami pizza, snickers milkshake was good too. Don’t know if it’s normally slightly thicker though due the the heat tonight. Delivered well before time by a pleasant driver.
