Pizza Max in Doncaster

Do NOT buy ANYTHING from this place. We were overcharged by £3 for crappy sub standard cheeseburgers, but it was the reaction we got, when we pointed it out. Needless to say, they refused to rectify THEIR mistake, and just ranted on, and even tried to say it was a charge for paying by card…. Which is ILLEGAL

We ordered and 18inch pizza witch come to £17 it took them above an hour to come and when it come it was the wrong size pizza it was a 14 inc and they still wanted us to pay £17 for it so I said no and turned the driver away and rang the shop then the manager come on the phone and tryed to persuade me to take the 14inch pizza and pay the £17 said no I’m not paying £17 for that size pizza and how is a 14inch going to feed 4 people he then keep saying no take the pizza and pay £17 and next time you ring up and order I will do you what ever you won’t for free said no thanks all we want is the right pizza what we ordered and all they went on about was taking the other pizza just because they was very busy so I said no and the hung up on me and the smaller pizza was stone cold to start with when I checked it please do not order off these

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS… absolutely disgusting and appalling behaviour. THEY TOOK MY MONEY… I brought a large single spaghetti Bolognese with pasta… and a separate bag of chips for me my boys! What came to our door was a small portion of chips covered in cheese with bag paper in the cheese! When I explain this is NOT my order…over the phone, they told me over the phone ITS WHAT I ORDERER. they were rude and didn’t help or listen to me… and EVEN they refuse to give me my money back!!! Absolute disgusting!!! STAY AWAY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

One of the best kebabs I've ever had

Been coming to these guys for years now and every time they make amazing kebabs, wraps, burgers and pizzas. Best local takeaway in mexborough 💯

Ordered when it first opened that day got fried chicken from the day before very greasy like eating boot leather never again. When It came it was dark brown no wonder it took 15 minutes for delivery. NEVER AGAIN

The food is perfect I called in at the shop and ordered it customer service was brilliant I ordered a 18" pizza and a pizza max mixed kebab on a 12" garlic bread there was loads to be fair and it only cost £28 we definitely going back again I know kids said next time they want mixed kebab on a garlic bread there's loads to look at on menu

Quality of food not nice atoll.

2 hours late called shop said was leaving then 20 mins later still no order called shop driver went back as apparently couldn't find the house so ordered from yummys delivered within 20 mins asked for a refund got some of it back will not recommend this place

First time and defoe the last time all could taste was grease ordered meat feast pizza and a garlic bread with cheese ....

Just received our very first order, and WOW! The size of the pizza surprised us - biggest pizza we have ever had! Thin base, lots of flavour, just how we like it! Wow! Definitely found our fave place! xx

Ordered 2 nights in a row. Food is lovely and specific instructions are followed. Tonight we received a courtesy call to let us know the order would be with us in 15 minutes. A bottle of pop was forgotten, as we were the last order we agreed to call the takeaway in the morning but within 10 minutes (presumably) the owner delivered the forgotten bottle with sincere apologies. Above and beyond service and amazing food.

£9.7O FOR A MIXED KABAB ON NAN WITH 1 EXTRA SAUCE AND BUTTERD VERY LIGHT ON FILLING. I WUD RATHER GO HUNGRY THAN USE THIS PLACE AGAIN. PATHETIC AND DISAPPOINTING. . IF THAT'S THE BEST U CAN DO I'D STICK TO THE DAY JOB N SHUT SHOP.

Do not order from this place got delivered burnt chicken and told that is how it is meant to be

Love it hear every time we order it is absolutely spot on the 20" King sized wrap feeds 5 of us and is our all time fave from hear. I cannot fault this place and for the price as well barging.

Order from here regularly but that won't be happening again. My chicken was under cooked and raw! No refund offered not helpful at all!

Over an hour and half and no food, called to ask where order was and told it would be sent out next. 30 mins later and still no food and no answer

I have this food most nights and it is beautiful with an amazing rage to choose from as to never get board, on top of this the costumer service is amazing with a friendly greeting as you walk in and the food it always ready quickly, nice and warm and tastes amazing

Rubbish, order didn't come with what I ordered, and charged me £2 more than what they said over the phone, came back with the rest of the order and had the audacity to charge me extra for what I ordered, the delivery driver was a rude obnoxious arrogant man, fare to say our company won't be ordering from them again

Won't be ordering again food turned up clap cold refused to send out fresh food or refund . Guy on the phone was totally unhelpful and full of attitide told us we should collect it of we want it hot eventually he hung up. Never had a problem until tonight lost a weekly customer

Worst customer service ever forgot half my order while I waited my food went cold they took the cold order back but gave no fresh order or refund then when the shop closed the young lad on the phone rang my 12yr old daughters phone back 20times giving her abuse threatening her obviously on private number absolutely disgusting ill be contacting the police too!

Excellent pizza every time. Very tasty, quality ingredients, really nicely cooked and delivered hot. Best pizza in Mexborough by a country mile. Can highly recommend after 6 times ordered.

Ordered the bbq special pizza, that was the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten, I feel sick. I don't know which meat the gristle was from, or why apparently dairy cheese doesn't melt, but I couldn't finish it.

Just had my first Pizza Max despite passing it by since it opened I thought I would give it a go. Boy I was not disappointed it came earlier than stated and I opted for a Kofti kebab wow I've had a few in my time but this one best the lot. I am so annoyed I left it so long to try the place out. I can assure you I will be ordering again and again. We'll done

Made an order at 5.30pm to arrive at 6.45pm. Not 10 minutes after my order was accepted, someone called me to ask what time I wanted my order (even though I specified a time.) I told him 6.45pm. He then just grunted and rudely hung up on me. As if that wasn't enough, the food turned up 20 minutes late. I paid in cash Around £43. I then received an e-mail stating there was a problem with my order and it wasn't delivered. I was then unable to leave a review for the late food and rude telephone call, as technically, on the Just Eat app, it showed that I never actually received anything (quite convenient for them that I was unable to leave a review for the bad service.) So they either cancelled the order so I couldn't leave a review, or the delivery driver said he didn't deliver it and just kept the money.

Our next door neighbours ordered a delivery from here tonight (20/07/21). I'm 5 months pregnant and was just returning from the hospital after having an accident at work and having to get checked out- the delivery driver was parked blocking our driveway (which not only has a dropped curb but also a sign on the fence which very boldly and clearly states "NO PARKING"). My husband beeped our car horn, thinking that the driver in the car hadn't noticed us. The driver's response was to get out of his vehicle and come over to our car and start shouting at my husband. I was absolutely shocked and mortified at how rude the driver was. I have CCTV of the incident with a very clear shot of the driver (as well as clear audio of him shouting at my husband), the car and the car registration. I am absolutely appalled by this driver's attitude and it reflects badly on Pizza Max as a business.

I like it that when I ask for a donner wrap but can I have the salad separately ( so it doesn’t go soggy with the heat from the meat ) they happily oblige .. lovely meat and never greasy .

Ordered 2 chicken wraps a cheesey chip wrap and a burger tonight for the family. Took and age to deliver. When it arrived the was freezing. Will not be ordering again 😢

It's a shame, because, once I got my pizza it was very tasty, though soggy (no doubt due to rushing it after realising they'd forgot about mine as they handed my mate his!). While waiting, we spoke to another customer returning food he'd collected that wasn't what he'd ordered. This was my first, and last, time there 😢

i would never go here again the lamb was burnt to a crisp the kebab was cold and the nan was burnt.... also and the woman at the other end of the phone wants sacking her attitude is terrible

Ordered from pizza max left a note to say not to put chilli sauce on kebab wanted it in separate tub then rang them and requested same over phone they said it wasn't a problem order came with chilli sauce all over kebab and separate tub of chilli sauce which I was charged 70p extra for. Also spent over £25 on full order and did not receive free garlic bread or pop. Would not recommend to anybody to order from these. They have offered a free kebab on next order but was having a family evening and I was left with no food to eat or have it an hour after everybody else had eaten. Not acceptable will not order from these again.

Food was nice but the 2 star is because I ordered a kebab which u get free sauce with and because I asked for it in a tub rather than all over the food they asked me for 80p at the door which dosnt state on there site that if I ask for it in a tub I will b asked to pay extra at the door

Ordered for collection so it would be fresh, said it would be ready in 15 minutes, got there early was already waiting on side. Got it home (which is a 2min drive away) most of it was cold, got a free garlic bread which was freezing cold. Pieces of chicken were EXTREMELY dry, chicken wings were basically just a bone, no chicken on them, couldn't eat any of it to be honest. Definitely wasted £15 wouldn't recommend

Always order from here as I do like the food but past few times iv ordered, one occasion didn't receive my free garlic bread and bottle of pop like it says you get when your order is over 20 pound phoned them and said will send it next time never received it, just ordered again and got the king wrap its says you get a pot of coleslaw didn't get that phoned up again and guy on phone was rude and mouthy will not order from here again if that's how they want to talk to a long time customer.

Best pizza I've had in a long time

After waiting 2hours and few phone calls to the arrogant women other end of the phone we cancelled the order. Need to work on their customer service skills!

Placed order on just eat at 17:30 and it said it would be here by 18:15 yet we wait till 18:30 and it doesn’t show. They cancelled our order at 18:30. We call and get a cocky, disrespectful attitude saying they showed up at the door yet we was waiting and never showed and the driver refused to come back. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all and never gonna order again.

Ordered from here it took 1hr 40mins arrived cold. 1 nan kebab and 1 chicken and chips. The chicken i would not have feed to my cat. Phoned for my money back. The manager refused. And offered me another meal. The next meal arrived within 10mins . And it was no better than the first one. When it first opened food was spot on. I WILL NOT BE USING IT AGAIN. AND I WONT RECOMMENED IT TO OTHERS

Very expensive food not enough small portions

Best place in mexborough go there few times a week try new stuff daily everything fantastic. Some great ideas. And lovely staff. Can't fault it 1 bit 😁

came cold got a £7 chicken max and they was barley anything on it wasnt worth money had a large chips to share between 2 was only enough for 1 person in end cost me 18 30 and wasnt worth a fiver never again

I been there a few times and was very disappointed I don't.like.it at . The pitzas are too dry . The chips cheese and spegatti Bolognese . Not much taste to bolagnase. The cheese is tasteless . The kabab meat n garlic mayo . Way way way to much garlic . And the chicken s starters are discusting . I dint like it at all witch is a shame as it's our nearest takeaway big let down I would not go there again at all unless there was a new cook what cooked alot better .

Wish I could rate 0 stars. Tried it twice, cold both times, naan's burnt, part of order missing. When we phoned to explain, staff were rude, arrogant and very unpleasant. Despite paying for our full order, they never sent the missing items.

Wouldn’t recommend ordering from here. Pizza came within 20minutes and tasted as if this wasn’t even cooked. Pizza was absolutely horrible and chips were burnt through. Only gave us half of money back very expensive aswell
