Pizza Luciano in Gateshead

Ordered 2 chicken kebabs, ordered from here before and was delighted with the amount of chicken I had recieved (very big portions) however when I ordered tonight I was unpleasantly supprised by a measly amount of chicken I recieved. Would not reccomend to others as the chicken was chargrill burnt and also dry. Not up to standard they used to be, very dissapointed. Not worth the £18 I paid for 2 chicken kebabs

Chicken shawarma pencil sized no salad no sauce also it was tika not just chicken definitely not worth an hour wait for £14

Food is always hot, fresh and delivery always on time

Ordered a take away at 8pm had to ring up 3 times for different excuses it finally turned up at 22.30, not good. The chips we're awful, 2 cans of coke miasing. Burger and kebab was ok but won't be going back at all.

Not sure why anyone would want to go anywhere else other than here. It's the best pizza takeaway ever. All the staff are great and the only thing better than them are the pizza's. Been coming here for more than 15 years and currently living down south but every time I visit family up north I just have to have pizza night thanks to Luciano's. No where else even comes close to being as good. John Brennan

I'm really shocked by the service I've just received from here. I've ordered regularly over the last couple of years and have always had good service and food from here. I ordered at 19:50 tonight and the app said it would be delivered at 20:40. I then got an email saying it had been delayed and would be 20:50. 21:00 and we're still waiting so I rang up and they said it would be a further 15-20 minute wait. I understand that it will be busy but don't take the order if you can't accommodate or at least ring and tell me it's going to be late. The communication I received over the phone from whom I'm guessing was the manager was appalling. Tonight very poor customer service and won't return again.

Asked for shish meat well cooked and that's what they did. Very nice food, chilli and garlic sauces are nice too but not the biggest for 90p a dip, will defo order from here again 👏

The driver in the silver golf will never forget where we live now after all the trouble he had finding us tonight - our order was early by 30 minutes which my hungry teenager greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Garlic sauce was lovely but that's where it stops.. kebab was rock solid, chips don't even deserve explanation! Used to use these years ago and loved it but unfortunately it's just gone down hill! Avoid it if you don't want to bin half your food

Been going here for years and can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. If you like pizza, burgers and kebabs then this is the place to go as they are all lovely. Owner always friendly too.

We're regulars at Pizza Luciano, both collection and delivery. The food is brilliant and the staff are great. Never had any problems with the service. Would recommend giving them a try.

Food was lovely & have had it from here in the past that's why I chose it but it was 10mins after the time said it would arrive & the food was not very hot at all. Never had a problem in the past alway hot & on time so hopefully just a one off.

The food was nice as usual but my pizza was stuck to the underside of the box lid so half the toppings came off.

Terrible experience. Absolutely awful food... cold, congealed, had to wait 2 hours for this order to be delivered and tasted and looked like it had been hanging around in the shop for most of that time. Grey looking meat, doughy undercooked pizza with hardly any topping. Called to complain and received abuse from owner. Cannot express how bad this place is, do not go!!!!

Chicken kebab was lush just don't think you get enough

Generous toppings, have used several times and will use again.

Food was cold and pretty much flavourless. Pizza had basically no tomato sauce and no taste. Mozzarella sticks had no flavour at all and the garlic sauce was bland with no taste of garlic, was like some sort of watery yoghurt. We binned the majority of food.

Ordered a all meat pizza. It was outstanding. Very nice. Will order again.

The food was good but i ordered cans of pop and they were not delivered so I rang the takeaway and they said they would be delivered but 2 days later I've still not recieved my cans of pop and I've not recieved a refund I'm not happy about this

The cheesy chips was just a dollop of cheese on top, Once you had the first layer there was nothing else. I asked for both chilli and garlic sauce within the wrap there was next to nothing on it, totally dry. Won't order from here again. The quality of the food is just the cheap stuff.

The staff are very friendly & welcoming; they always try to make conversation with us when we go in. Me & my partner usually go in late after work as we can't be bothered to cook, which although it might be close to closing time, they are more than happy to serve us. Also my step-dad has said some pretty good things about this place. Nice to have a lovely welcome after a hard day at work.

Have use Pizza Luciano for years, for both collection and delivery, and the food is always really good quality. The pizzas are particularly good and the staff are always great. Would happily recommend them.

We only ordered 1 x pizza and 1 x portion of chips. The food was nearly 30 minutes late and freezing cold once it eventually arrived. Unfortunately we won't be ordering from Lucianos again.

Really very good pizza... fresh flavoursome... tasty appearing pizza!! The delivery time is nearly always over an hour but we only live approx 2 miles away. Does t stop us ordering as the pizza is worth coming back for!!

Delivery was late, I had to call and ask why. Lady said she had forgot to call me to let me know the driver had had a problem. Food was great once it arrived.

I've never been able to find a fault with the service. I'm always told my order will take two weeks to deliver and it's usually here within 45 minutes. Excellent service and lovely staff!! Thanks again for my delicious tea

Waited about 1 and half hours for food to arrive. Most of the chips were undercooked (some were nearly raw), The garlic sauce was watery and really salty. The pizza was ok, nothing special. ( it was at least hot and fully cooked). The only really I gave the takeaway service 2 stars is because the driver was friendly. First time I have had food from here so not sure if it was a one off
