Pizza Hut in Waveney

Couldn't belive the most excellent customer service we received from Laura and her colleague. Nothing was to much trouble and they even got my favourite pizza done for the lunchtime buffet. Thank you again for making our trip a very pleasant experience.

Was shocked when i walked in to see such a limited menu. Food was horrible, pizza was greasy and the salad bar had loads of fruit flies! disgusting! Very over priced.

Gone down hill. Overpriced. Manger was like a sour lemon. Asked if we wanted boxes... hell, we were still eating!!!!. At least wait till we have all finished eating before asking if we basically were leaving. Unfortunately, this was the only pizza hit we used to go to but now it will be our last time here Food basic Extremely overpriced. No one in here, not busy 4 tables including ours Manger acts like she has got a full restaurant, but 4 tables is not busy. 2 members of outfront staff, When 1 of them could have done that shift themselves.

Ordered a delivery, food didn't arrive, phoned to complain and get a refund, they refused point blank to help blaming Just Eat.......I Ordered from Pizza Hut so I expect food or refund from Pizza Hut

We had a half & half pizza, which had far too much tomato base and not enough BBQ sauce for a BBQ americano. The base was like carboard and no real taste. The child's meal, well the corn on the cob, had no taste and was watery and the pizza again had far too much tomato sauce. The best bit I think was the salad and endless drink. Totally over priced for what you get. No wonder it's not busy on a peak day and time.

First they came to the table with wrong order. When order arrived with right pizza which was pepperoni feast with extra cheese. Pizza was too hard to cut with knife. Ended up picking the small amount of topping and eating that. It was a good job came with salad or would have left very hungry. Had to pay when ordering and no one bothered to ask if it was OK even though whole pizza left. Will not return.

We ate as a large party during the Easter holidays. An area of the restaurant was set aside for us and staff were pleasant on arrival. Ordering on the app is easy for the tech savvy but some members of the party did have to be helped to get it to work, or had to be ordered for by others. The gluten free pizza base is actually pretty good, it’s very similar to the Pizza Express GF bases. My partner was pretty happy with his normal dough pizza. The salad bar wasn’t as sad as I remembered from previous visits, overall the food was better than I expected. The children were kept entertained by mixing different flavours of fizzy drink together. I was pleasantly surprised by the food and from the 2yo birthday child to grandparents everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Got it delivered, the cookie dough desserts use to be so good, was so small and was like slop, and got some nachos which were tiny, 2x tiny cookie dough and a small box of nachos for £20 including delivery was an absolute rip off for what we got

Great value buffet lunch 12-3. All you can eat pizza, salad and hot pasta dishes. Really like it here. Fresh pizzas, refillable drinks. Recommend highly

Ivisited today 9th February on a Thursday evening. The food was good two pizza ordered came within 5 minutes or so. The service was quick and helpful friendly and nice and polite service from staff especially from stephani waitress and finally the manager she was helpful to us and friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and Return in the future. Thanks again for a great meal!

Gone down hill. We had a buffet and it's was tasteless, dry, sitting there for hours. No new fresh pizzas coming out. Plenty of staff on, we were the only ones in there. Everything done on app. No service was really involved. Extremely poor Won't be rushing back in a hurry

Thinking a visit to this restaurant would raise our spirits on a wet day was a mistake. Met at the door and told “card only” and “we have no carbonated drinks till Tuesday” was a dispiriting experience alone. We should have left then but foolishly proceeded on to the buffet which was very expensive when you consider the food being so unappetising 🤢 you cannot eat your fill. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO ANY RESTAURANT TGAT DECLINES CASH. Anyway it was home to finish up with a bag of crisps.

We had the buffet , the pizza which was out was just warm , there was plenty of salad to choose from once we sat down more pizza came out so we left the cold pizza and went got some more but that also was not very hot . I'm afraid we won't be going there again very over priced , not like it used to be I can understand why it's so empty .

Didn't book but our table was ready quicker than expected. Very busy, but nice friendly staff. Salad bar needed replenishing when I went, but had enough as it was complimentary with main course. Very tasty food.

We went back for a second time and yes, the food was still very good. Nice pizza, although side dishes were overpriced considering portion size. Service was excellent on the first visit, but to be honest we didn't feel as welcome on the second visit. They were busier and to be honest, the manageress was so miserable. A smile would have been nice! This review is very much based on our first visit and the fact that the pizzas were really nice.

Do not visit Pizza Hut as usually prefer one of their rivals, but was pleasantly surprised by this branch. Service was good and food was very nice, decent value for money, especially with the unlimited refill drinks.

A family visit and plenty to choose from the menu. Really enjoyed the Pizza's to share, good value for money. The salad was very tasty and you are allowed more. The service was faultless but expect noise from other families.

Sadly, our review is the same as the previous customers. We were visiting Lowestoft last night and after Googling somewhere for a pizza, Pizza Hut came up.

Our visit was okay but nothing set this restaurant apart from the others. We visited on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime and had the buffet; we were seated quickly. The hot food was hot, the cold food was cold and there was plenty of it. I was pleased that the buffet was free for my under 2 and this did improve how I felt about our trip. I thought that the food itself was decidedly average and I didn't find myself going up for seconds. All in all a good lunch out but I have been to better Pizza Huts.

Average food - has been for quite some time now; whichever restaurant you visit in the UK it's nothing amazing that makes you want to shout out about it. Sorry Pizza Hut you need to reinvent yourself or you'll be following BHS and Woolworths - disappearing forever.

Lovely, happy, a bit noisy, family eatery. Really great for families, exceptional value, great for anyone really. We are a middle aged couple, they always find a twosome table for us, off the beaten track, where we can relax and enjoy our meals. Onion rings and garlic bread with cheese come highly recommended, as does the lasagne, which is always super hot. The food is really tasty and portions always generous. Clean, sticky free tables and cutlery, the staff ask if everything is ok... and they really do stop to listen at a fair point durning your meal. (Massive pet hate when restaurants get these basics wrong, as you may know from other postings I have made)

We was on holiday here so wanted a different type of meal. We was looked after by a very nice young lady who served us a bottle of argentnian malbec. The cheesy crust pizza was delicious , along with our salad and sauces from the well stocked salad bar,, We was all too full to try a sweet but the waitress was able to take time and stop and chat with us as she knew we was on holiday. She even gave us a tip of somewhere to visit.A lovely pizza meal but made so much better by professional, friendly service. I am only sorry that I cannot remember her name but Well Done.

We were staying at nearby Pontins, Pakefield and the food there was absolutely terrible.Hence here we are at Pizza Hut, which is just up the road.Nicely cooked Pizza's, friendly staff, great service and the never ending salad bar.Enjoyed our meal - so much more appetizing then the lukewarm meat & 2 veg on offer at Pontin's.Thank you Pizza Hut Lowestoft - you saved us from starving to death!

Quick dinner before heading back to holiday park. Restaurant clean and tidy, service quick and efficient as ever. Free refills good for children and food ok. Plenty of choice at the salad bar and reasonably priced.

As always the lunchtime buffet is great value, pizza, pasta and salads all included for £6.99, the lady who served with the dreadlocks was very kind and friendly and a credit to you. It was very busy being half term but still managed to get a table.

Food and drink here was fine. Waitress got a couple of things mixed up which is always annoying. She gave one of us a large pizza instead of a small one. When we told her about it she was going to take it away, presumably throw it in the bin and ask them to make a small one. Clueless. Manager dealt with it like a manager should and just gave us the large one for the price of a small one.

Today me any wifey fancied pizza hut and as were from Great Yarmouth didn't fancy the pizza hut there as it poor so we decided to go to the Lowestoft one but i tell you what better service clean and tidy pizza always topped up no waiting, the only negative was that the ice machine wasn't working but that didn't bother me as it cold outside anyway. We decided to have bbq ribs i didn't rate them at all see picture, i wouldn't be having them again. But overall i would defo go back. Thank you and see you all soon :)

Me and my wife visited on the Thursday the 17th I must have made one of the strangest requests. By asking for a pizza with no cheese as I'm allergic I ordered a meat feast and it was gorgeous also the staff were excellent. Thank you for making my first ever visit to a Pizza Hut memorable one

My daughter and i and the 2 grandchildren had the lunchtime buffet ,it was ok some of it was hot but some of the other Pitza we had was cold so we waited for some more Pizzas to be put out , there was plenty of salad to choose from and unlimited drinks but for nearly £40 We did not think very good value for money .

conveinient situation near supermarket and DIY and cheap B & M Store so can combine doing your shopping good service if there isn't too many people in there sometimes the wait can be quite some time.

Visited here as a party of 5. 3 children 2 adults.It has been some years since I last visited a pizza Hut. Actually it was in the 80's. It wouldn't be my normal first choice but we left it late and it was the only family friendly option nearby. Great location for nearby Pakefield Caravan Park. Not a bad choice for the kids and us on a set menu. As I've said in the title It is what it is - Pizza. Average quality and it filled a hole. I found the salad bar a little limited and was put off by some little urchins grabbing things with their hands and not the tongs.Cleanliness wise this restaurant DOES score LOW. Discarded food and menus all under our table - appeared as if it hadn't been swept since the 1st punters of the day! The ice cream was lovely and thick though. I won't be dining here again or indeed a Pizza Hut again. Not for me.

Good food. Good service. First pizza they brought out was wrong, but was quickly rectified. The Strawberry Pepsi ran out too so was a bit disappointed. But overall, was a good meal :)

Recently booked this pizza hut for a family meal but upon arrival decided that takeaway menu was much better value for money. So after some deliberation we agreed to order takeaway and wait. When ordering I requested BBq sauce bases on the 2 large pizzas, a short wait and food arrived. Took back to campsite and opened to find both pizzas on a BBq base as well as BBq sauce heavily splattered everywhere across the tops. Made the pizzas more like a dessert rather than main meal as it was so sweet. Pizza was very tasty where it wasn't covered!

We've been here a few times when we come up to Suffolk and have to say this is a decent Pizza Hut. Not posh, nothing special, usual menu etc. etc. but nice service from good people and always friendly. If you like Pizza Hut, this is a decent one

Worst restaurant ever, I have never liked the restaurant in Lowestoft as its expensive, food is awful and staff are to say the least untrained. However after the recent refit I decided to give it a go, waited half an hour for a table which is understandable when busy. After being seated we decided to help ourselves to the refill drinks as after waiting for 25 minutes for some service the kids were starting to get thirsty. Food finally ordered but had no cutlery, asked for some cutlery for our table of 4 and some young lad arrived and gave us 7 knives and 3 forks. My self and the wife revived our meals and we were waiting in the children's. They then went on to deliver the food to the table adjacent to us and still no meals for the kids, the wife noticed that the meals had been sat on the counter all that time and I had to go collect them myself. I opted for the rack of ribs, what a mistake should of just stuck to the salad bar. Very very annoyed with the service we received and the very large waitress with the see through leggings on which put you of your food even more. Will never return and would never recommend. Terrible

A baby on next table had exploding nappy and mother proceeded to change on table then left dirty nappy on table wide open while she carried backed child covered in sh..t to toilet. As you can expect did not stay for desert . Told the waiter and he laughed !!

Went for tea pizza was great salad bar was not pasta had loads of Doritos in sweet corn had loads of pasta droped in some dishers were empty food spiller all over and was not put right the whole time we were there so would not return had to wait 45 mins for table would have sat out but tables had pots every were and were dirty

Visited this place May half term and should have learnt my lesson, however, so as not to disappoint the grandchildren, in we went again. I ordered the gluten free ham and pineapple pizza. The base was very hard to cut, there was hardly any tomato cheese or ham on it and what was on it was tasteless. Thank goodness the salad was good. The waitress was quite attentive when the spaghetti bolognese was served very late on during the meal. All in all, disappointed once again.

The pizza is so over priced and for £18.50 I'd expect more. The sharing size is not very big and I was not at all pleased. My daughters pizza was burnt. Overall a pretty shoddy experience.

Do good takeaway deals and good vouchers but expensive for what it is if you eat in. Worth looking for vouchers/coupons before visiting.

Just ordered the spinach and salmon pasta dish it came out in a dish i can only describe as a school ruler i could barely see it. The dessert is called "death by chocolate" i can only assume this is because i will die from lack of sustainance afterwards

We visit this particular restaurant fairly often, because it is close to home, the service is always good and we find the staff very helpful and professional.Recently, this restaurant has been refurbished and it looks a lot better; the restaurant was beginning to look dated. It now looks very fresh and modern.This is the first time we have held a birthday party at Pizza Hut, but the whole experience was excellent. The staff explained all the different options the children could have, are orders were all correct, the meals arrived in good time. The staff could not have been anymore helpful and all the kids really enjoyed the experience.The only downside is that they no longer serve adult small pizzas. However, the staff did allow my wife to order a children's sized pizza instead.

This Pizza Hut is our favorite.The staff are always welcoming and very accomadating as I have limited mobility so they always seat us nearer the salad bar n toilets so I don't need to walk far x The food is always loverly n the salad bar continuely stocked up.

We just spent a very nice lunch in the Lowestoft Pizza Hut and was welcomed by the very friendly waiter by the name of Liam. The first thing we'd noticed was just how clean the place was. We had the buffet menu meal and proceeded to help ourselves to the salad bar. The presentation was very nice and all salad choices were fresh and plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed various choices of pizza which was provided and the pasta aswell. We have been to many Pizza Huts around the area but this one without a doubt, is one of the nicest we've been to and we will definitely come back again. Keep up the good work.

30min wait for a table so we ordered a take out. My 5yr old was upset as we only really went so she could use the ice cream factory.... And that isn't a take out option. However, a lovely lady there gave us 2 takeaway cups and told us we could have a bit....my little girl was over the moon!!! The food was what you would expect (nice!) hence the average score I gave but the service from that lady was second to none. Thankyou!

Went to Pizza Hut with family to celebrate my grand childrens second birthday.Really pleased that they now have a "Lite" option as I have never seen that in there before, I have always been wary of Pizza with it being notoriously calorie laden. I have a lite chicken pizza that came in at under 500 calories served on a nice thin crispy base just how I like it.Everyone else ordered the usual stuffed crust, deep pan bases and some did Half and Half to share. The pizzas looked and smelt delicious.The salad bar was good, however I didn't see any lettuce available, not the end of the world but I do like lettuce with my salad. The unlimited drinks were brilliant and I never know that there were so many different flavours of Pepsi/Tango/7 Up.Service was brilliant and our server came back a few times to ask if everything was OK. We went Sunday lunchtime at 1:30 and I was pleased to say that it was not either over crowded or overly noisy which can sometimes be the case in places like this.

Arrived mid afternoon, we were seated straight away. No one came go serve our table for nearly 15 minutes!! My children and I went for the buffet, my wife chose a pizza from the main menu. We also ordered a couple of sides. We went and got out buffet and drinks so no service needed there. My wife's pizza came promptly but no sides. Nearly 20 minutes later they arrived! They were sat on the side next to the buffet getting cold! The place wasn't that busy but to be fair the serving team seemed to have better things to discuss rather than look after the customers. We would normally order desserts but we didn't want to wait any more!!

Today's service was terrible even the children asked if we were invisible. Had to get the attention of the staff to order drinks and then food and then deserts. We arrived at 1.30 and the restaurant wasn't busy so staff were not rushed. Most of the staff then appeared to have a meeting at one of the tables leaving one chap serving who seemed to be only paying attention to 2 tables leaving others unattended. Usually good service but today was definitely a different story.

We visited here for my daughters 8th birthday, we had a party of 14. The service was friendly, efficient and very helpful. She was attentive and we were well looked after. The food came swiftly and was hit a very good. We enjoyed the salad bar and the ice cream factory. Our waitress brought out the birthday cake for us. We had an absolutely wonderful time and thought the service was excellent!

Went there at 3.45pm on Good Friday, so we weren't expecting it to be too busy as it was outside the main lunchtime and evening rushes. We arrived at the front desk, and a glance into the restaurant showed a couple of birthday parties and at least one third of the tables unoccupied. "A table for three please" I said to the person on the front desk, confidently expecting her to grab some menus and show us to one of the several empty tables. Oh no, we were told that we'd have to wait for a specific table to become free (she even pointed to it with the current diners noticing her doing so, which i wouldn't be very happy with if I was dining there and paying decent money for the privilege) and were told they were on their dessert course so shouldn't be more than five to ten minutes. Stupidly we started to wait on the seats outside when another family of four walked in and were told exactly the same thing. Like us, they looked into the restaurant at the rows of empty tables, said they weren't prepared to wait and left. We immediately followed them out, with the mother of the other party telling us she couldn't believe they were asked to wait. So well done, Pizza Hut, you probably lost around £100 of takings in two minutes! Still, at least the staff didn't have to put themselves out by having to serve people. Oh, and as we were rather hungry as we hadn't eaten since breakfast, we popped over the road to the restaurant in Morrisons. Three really nice meals and less than half the price we'd have spent in Pizza Hut.

went on the 19th and the 22nd before and after a weekend at pointins, Guy who served us recognised us from the year before, shows he cares about customers, I said we were all vegetarians and he made sure the buffet had the right pizzas to cater for our needs, this don't happen in other pizza huts where veggies get a raw deal. will be back next year again for sure, highly recommend this one.

The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They were all so accommodating and attentive - we were very impressed. The pizza was delicious, hot and tasty and there was plenty. The kids meals were great too. They ate everything on their plate. Very reasonable price. Wish all Pizza Huts were as good as this one!

Love coming here the staff are always so welcoming and are friendly! Pizzas are a tad expensive here but they are amazing and so filling! Everything is so nice and I would recommend the cookie dough it's amazing can't wait to come back!

Pizza Hut is pizza hut, you know what you're getting. Nice pizza. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only downside is the decoration, it looks like it was done by a blind person who was having a seizure at the time. My 3 year old brings home tidier paintings from preschool. Surely pizza hut didn't pay someone to do this?!?!?!?!

I had to leave a quick review just to say that every time I visit this restaurant the staff are so friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad meal here and also you can use your half price vouchers which makes a real difference. Recommended

We had pizza and a pasta dish, all enjoyed. Service very good and staff friendly. Ice cream factory a real treat for our 2 young boys. Enjoyable lunch. We had the new seafood pizza with king prawns. Nice change not to have a pizza smothered with cheese but could have done with a few more king prawns!!

You can eat in or take away. The staff are friendly. At the end of the day it is pizza hut. Ample parking out side with a supermarket just across the road
