Quiet for a Saturday night. The waiter was extremely attentive and friendly. Garlic prawn starters and halloumi was delicious. Prawn pizza and leggera pizza was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately our friends Americano pizzas were burnt to a crisp. The waiter however quickly rectified the situation by offering a free drink and replacing the pizzas. Enjoyed the experience. I would recommend.

Even though the food arrived early, the pizza was stone cold. Customer service refute your help as they don’t believe what I’m saying due to the early delivery time. Very disappointing.

The biggest issue was the incredibly slow service. It took 2 hours 20 minutes for olives/doughballs, 4 mains and 2 desserts. Ridiculous! It would have been even longer without our inviting staff to our table each time to get served. All the staff were pleasant but there should be more of them and they should be more attentive to the customers. The food was OK, but the portion sizes have noticeably shrunk. There's no shortage of Italian restaurants around. I think Pizza Express has had its day. Go elsewhere.

Very very slow. It took an hour to get our pizzas after having to ask twice about the wait, despite the restaurant being fairly quiet. We weren't told about any long waits when being seated. The kitchen seemed to be much more focused on take out orders than serving sitting customers. The food then came out missing our side dish. The pizzas were fine when they finally came but the 'salad filled hole' was just a bunch of spinach thrown in the centre of the plate and by that point we had to rush to eat. The waitresses were doing their best, but this kitchen needs to sort out their priorities.

There was no garlic butter with my dough balls. I paid extra to have a half n half pizza instead of a cheaper meal deal. Only to receive a full pizza of one of the halves I ordered which would have qualified in the for mentioned much cheaper deal. It was also late and cold. So all in all not great.

As always the food was great. While taking our order the waitress noticed my partner’s shirt tag was out. She mentioned it but before we could react she pushed the tag back under shirt herself. We were both super taken aback as that’s wildly inappropriate? My partner felt a bit uncomfortable and it made the atmosphere a bit strange. Will definitely come back but maybe address to your staff not to touch guests without asking. Don’t want anyone to get in trouble it was just super weird.

Spot on delivery and amazing food very happy

This pizza express was the best one I've been to. Not only were the starters delicious, the portions were great. The main meal was full of flavor and great price. Staff were super friendly and kept the place tidy.

We arrived at 7pm, our drinks and food order was not taken until 7.30pm. Food came to the table at 8.15pm, a table that was seated at the same time as us had eaten and left at this point. Extremely short staffed and no compensation was offered for the hour and a quarter long wait for the food. I would’ve been a little more understanding if we had been informed on the food wait times, but we weren’t. I could see the staff were working hard but unfortunately there were just not enough people on shift.

Pizza tasted good, but it arrived stone cold and wasn't cut.

Good food but definitely over did the dressing on the salad! They made a mistake with the drinks but offered them to us free as compensation. Very much appreciated how they handled the situation

ordered at 17.15pm and booked a delivery slot for 18.30pm. However the delivery was actually 19.35pm. I would have expected a message or an offer to cancel the order if my delivery time could not be met.... But when I telephoned the restaurant it just went straight to answerphone and having left a message and phone number for a call back still received no contact . The service I have had is abysmal. if anyone wants a delivery on time move on because the customer care is non existant.

Half of the pizza was cold so my son refused to eat it.

Decided to have a take out of two pizzas so popped in and arranged collection. Staff was very helpful with regarded to my vegan pizza , advised I could have alternative toppings as I did not want certain toppings plus advised it would be 20 mins. No problem for us just went for a quick walk and the pizzas were ready in the 20 mins so excellent service. Now the pizzas we asked for were thin base now I’m not a lover of pizzas but this was exceptional love love love ❤️ them. I ate all of it in one go which never ever happens. The service and quality of the pizzas at High Street in Lincoln is outstanding. Highly highly recommended. I will be getting my pizzas from Pizza Express from now on or if in town will be sitting in.

Squashed in next to the service area . Noisy and not pleasant to be next to the coffee machine when you trying to hold a conversation. Food ok. Not great value for money but staff friendly but not attentive to customer care.

Sorry. I had to put 4 start for the atmosphere as I dined out near closing time. Not to detract from a lovely meal with really friendly and professional service. Not often, the food in reality looks better than the pictures. Excellent value. I had a bruschetta and American Hot Romana. All excellent. Thank you.

For £18 (incl. fees,and delivery) I actually received £2,50 Aldi pizza, but even smaller in size, cold and burned. Will never order again.

I had the Grand Caesar Salad and it was the best salad I have ever eaten - so tasty every mouthful was a delight!

For someone who doesn’t like pizzas, I love Pizza Express! Authentic thin crust, fresh ingredients, friendly service. Lincoln one did not disappoint, even on a quiet Sunday night. Wish the drinks were not so expensive, that’s my only gripe. Recommended.

Went here tonight. Our waitress Shannon was brilliant, friendly and knew about Gluten free! Food was super delicious.

The person who delivered my food was very rude. He called me on my mobile that he is in car park and he is unable to find my flat. Usually they deliver food to the door, and alert by pressing the door bell. However I went out, he was sitting in the car, got out and gave me my food. I very politely wanted to tell him where to deliver per address, he looked at me and said you got the food, sat in the car and drove away with screeching noise of tyres. This experience took my appetite away and didn’t

Ordered takeaway after a great day celebrating our daughters Graduation... her choice was to order pizzas from yourselves.. what a mistake! 15 mins late, my youngest daughter had to go and find the delivery driver. He had not delivered a Ceasar salad and only one dough balls... spoke to Jamie what a waste of time.. he sounded very drunk!! Then after trying to speak to JustEat that was impossible!! I am now waiting 2-5 days for a refund. The pizzas were not worth the money we paid, a very expensive mistake to the end of a lovely day....

Disappointed. Had written in the notes asking for an item to be removed from a pizza but it arrived with the item still on. Was also missing an item from the order and it only arrived warm, considering delivery was really fast.

Pizza Express was fantastic as always! It may be a little more expensive than other leading pizza restaurants, however, it is worth paying a little extra for. It feels like you are actually in Italy. Even the side salad was amazing! My only complaint is my dad decided to help me eat it!

This was a magnificent meal 🍕 very enjoyable. The staff were efficient and humorous and I can highly recommend the lime and basil sorbet. My daughter had bruschetta and I had chilli prawns to start them the mushroom salad and egg and ham pizza respectively and my friend finished with the Tiramisu. All in all a great relaxing and fun meal with a brilliant atmosphere

Pros: Very good food at this restaurant. Very attentive staff, quick service. Cons: a little busy at our visiting time, tables quite crowded together.

God forbid you dare to be lactose intolerant or vegan. I had to order a pizza with dairy cheese on it as I couldn't order a vegan pizza deal through the Web sight. my neigbors had to check in on me after the noises that came from my bathroom and I was sure that I was about to die. While lying there on deaths door the vigin Mary appeared to me but had to leave promptly due to the smell. Never meet your hero's. She was clearly not a vigin.

First time I've eaten here as I don't normally do commercial pizza chain restaurants. Wasn't disappointed to fair. Fairly busy being a bank holiday, quiet when we entered, started getting busier later as we left. Food was great, well presented, staff polite and courteous. Everything clean and spotless. Will be visiting again and can highly recommend. Kids menu along with colouring activities provided. As you can see from the pics all plates were left without a crumb on them. Well done and thank you for a lovely meal out.

Terrific food and service. I prefer thin crust pizza, and my favourite is pollo ad astra which is cajun chicken, onions and peppers. Even better with a side order of salad.

Personally there wasn’t enough tomato purée on my pizza base it was very dry, also calamari could have done with being a little crispier. A lot of money for not great quality.

Very poor food .. soggy pizzas, unpleasant tasting pasta (which wasn't even what was ordered!) and several items on the menu not available! We weren't even made aware of this until after we'd selected them! Disappointing! Won't be returning.

We love pizza express and it was absolutely lovely as always. Although we had drove a long way and stopped at another pizza express that had no stock, this branch made up for this!

This place is always a winner. Have to say, we come here fairly often and the pizzas on our most recent visit were exceptional, so so fresh! The service can be a little slow, even when they aren't busy, having said that, everyone is incredibly friendly and I wouldn't let this put you off. Love that new items get added to the menu.
