Had a tasty pizza plenty of topping waitress very helpful,showed us how to get there app and take advantage and save money using there app.

Food was lovely, service awful. Handed the birthday cake we bought in for us without even asking for it then the bill just placed on table whilst still eating.

Another great meal. Consistently good food, good layout . Good atmosphere. Kids feel at home here, never seen them eat so much!

We went there for a birthday pizza party kids had lots of fun and the pizza was fantastic.

Two of us went for a late Sunday lunch. The service was 10/10. The food was beautiful. We had 1 X calabrese, and 1 x pollo pesto, plus 1 X side salad to share, plus a large glass of house wine each, red for hubby, white for me. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Pizza Express and would highly recommend.

Great central location. Excellent service on the day we went but has been slower before. Lovely, attentive staff. Food is good. It's Pizza Express so you know what you are getting. Parking is not always easy, but there are a few car parks within a couple of minutes walk. Don't forget your Tesco vouchers!

Our daughter really enjoyed an exciting 6th birthday having a pizza making party at Pizza Express in Christchurch. Daniel was a superb host, all of the kids loved playing with the dough and getting a chance to make their own dinner, and obviously the gelato was a big hit at the end. I would highly recommend this party option for anyone who wants a reasonably simple party to arrange that still offers a lot of fun and laughter.

We love Pizza Express in Christchurch. We always get great service there, the food is always spot on and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend their calamari, always tender and delicious.

Absolutely freezing as people stood in the door letting all the cold air in, asked numerous times for the door to be shut. Very bad design as hard to get in and out as very narrow. Good food but spoilt by feeling so cold 🥶

Food was very tasty and great vegan menu. Waitress didn't serve our drinks correctly, but didn't charge us for the error. The restaurant was quite noisy.

Not been to a Pizza Express for years, the food and service was excellent. We were in a large family group of 14 so the atmosphere was great.

We had a great meal here last night. We hadn't made a booking and they pushed 2 tables together to accommodate 6 adults and a child and a pram. Great. Louisa was a star and nothing was too much bother. Big thanks to her. The pizza choices were good and the starters were so many in number we just got lots to share so we could taste most of them. All good. An excellent perfect decaffeinated expresso to round of the evening.

We visited this Pizza Express Branch in Christchurch during our recent visit to New Forest. We did our booking online as this place is busy. We placed our order for dough balls and pizzas. The food was good, however, the service was slow. There were more than adequate staff but it appeared that the the only person on the track was the Manager, who was the only one working so hard. There is a great potential to do much better if it was managed well. Our allocated table was dirty and we just to another nearby. The rest of the staff were less bothered. Come on Manager, start delegating and get the ball rolling.

1st time eating here and prob wouldn't go again..it was ok.. gluten free options available.. my partner liked his normal pizza, I found mine a little small ( only one size option on gluten free ) and little bland, was actually still hungry when I got home..

Pizza Express is always so delicious 😋 no doubt about that. We went to Christchurch and Bruno was our waiter he was just fantastic 👌 so so so brilliant with our little Ruby, she loved him, now wants to return regularly so we did, we went back the following week and Bruno was there again, on form again, he is the exact model of who should be working in hospitality, welcoming, friendly, put us at ease about noise and mess, nothing was too much trouble for him, brilliant!!... go here, you will love him!!! Thank you Bruno, we will be back!

I visited here on holiday with my husband and 4 kids and we received fantastic service from Bruno. He was patient and kind with my children and made us feel able to relax as parents, which was needed. The food as delicious, they attended to our every need and request efficiently and the whole experience was very pleasant. A lovey restaurant and fantastic staff. The manager was also very friendly in the kitchen cooking and waved to my children and even gave my little girl some extra cucumber which she was loving. Would definitely recommend and will go back again on our holidays next year. Thanks 😊

Nice staff, OK food, place needs a good clean... We were first in for the day and the toilets were clearly not cleaned from the day before. Floors needs a mop...

The place is very loud as people raised their voices ever more just to be heard across their tables (no soft furnishings). No ones fault I guess but the place was chock full of families with very young children and babies (being nursed), either having melt downs or running around. Some parents had no regard for anyone but themselves as if not caring if they disturbed others around them. Not really a very relaxing atmosphere for an evening meal. Pizza was nice enough if basic, and the service friendly and attentive but we felt processed as if eating to a stopwatch to make sure we were out within the hour (we didn't mind at all) I suppose it is pizza express. Not how I remember pizza express being years ago - now just another fast food joint and crèche / family nosh up place with kids that should've been in bed hours ago. Avoid if you want a quiet civilised adult evening out. (£80 for 3 pizzas dough balls and drinks for 3 seemed a lot)!! Won't hurry back.

Even on a busy summer holiday night Brunao was the perfect host to our family and made sure we all had a lovely evening!

Warm Welcome on arrival - plenty of seating over 2 floors. Toilets are clean for those who are interested.!! As ever a great selection of pizza’s on the menu. We opted for Romana American Hot and Classic American with a mixed salad. Cooked to perfection and was delicious! Highly recommended - situated in the High Street. Great staff and friendly Manager!

Pretty standard Pizza Express with all your usual favourites. Service is friendly and fast. Food is well cooked. The restaurant does look over the street and is good if you get a window seat. I was a little amused that the mint and elderflower presse is just a standard elderflower with a couple of mint leaves chucked in 😁

We visited Pizza Express for my Nephew's birthday as he adores it there. We pre booked as there was 12 of us attending. We arrived and we were promptly and politely shown to our table which was clean and nicely set up. We were greeted by a friendly lady waitress (regrettably I forgot her name) she was a lovely lady, so helpful and incredibly patient as she took our drinks order & starter choices (especially as a few of the much older members of our family are somewhat indecisive & take some time to give their orders!) Our drinks and starters were quickly served and altogether, which was great. The table was cleared quickly in time for the mains and again our waitress was very helpful - she was attentive and ensured my Niece received her meal adapted due to her nut allergy and my Aunt who's gluten free was also looked after. The mains were great and were quickly served again altogether, several times our waitress checked everything was ok and bought over extra drinks when we needed . The evening was great. Lovely atmosphere, great service & terrific service. Thank you for a lovely evening we will be returning again.

Popped in for a quick lunch, had great service from Bruno :) The nduja linguini was great, along with the dough balls doppio. Restaurant was clean and child friendly.

Poor experience after some really good visits. Service slow. The side salad ordered didn’t arrive. Our pizzas were not hot, so were chewy and not very nice. No one came near us to ask how things were. No water was offered for our table. Couldn’t see outside very well as the windows were dirty. Not sure if it’s worth another visit.

Birthday party for my daughter and the easiest we have ever done by far. The staff were awesome with the children, in particular Mateo was brill.

Absolutely amazing service from our waiter Bruno. We went for a family lunch, there was six of us in total including my two year old Daughter. The service overall was brilliant from Bruno, but the how he interacted with my Daughter made the experience even more enjoyable. He brought her over balloons, crayons and colouring, also some stickers. He took time to talk to her when she was chatting away. He's a credit to the business. The food was lovely and everyone there really enjoyed their meal.

Had a lovely family meal here on Sunday. The meals were great, and the service brilliant. A special 'thank you' to Bruno who went 'above and beyond', and made us all feel very welcome, (including my niece's, two year old daughter). 👍🏻

The place is a bit dark and grey but very clean. The food was presented nicely, unfortunately, although the pizza looked nice, it was in no way unique in taste. One of the thin crust pizzas was rubbery and took a long time to chew. Professional service, kind and fast. Unfortunately, this is not a place I would like to return to.

End of April we celebrated our son 5th birthday at Pizza Express Christchurch. It truly was one of the best birthday parties! Our son and 14 of his friends very much enjoyed making their own pizzas , starting with tossing the dough in the air ! GREAT prices ! you get what you pay for plus MUCH MORE . Parents can buy food / drinks as well to enjoy it while the kids are having fun! We had our party upstairs which also means privacy and parents who couldn't stay for the entire 2hrs felt safe leaving their children with us. Amazing staff members made the whole experience even better. Special thank you to Bruno and Sarah .

Just had the most amazing experience at this pizza express! Our waiter was so unbelievably friendly and so wonderful with my 3yr old son! As most people with young children know going for dinner can be quite the stressful experience but this waiter was so friendly and welcoming and made my son feel so special that it really was the most enjoyable evening! Food was wonderful and came quickly, couldn't fault a thing! Highly recommend!

The staff hosting the party for my daughter and her 5 friends were incredible. Special shout out to Sarah who hosted the party and also the chap with the beard (sorry don’t know his name) who were so attentive with the kids. They knew just the right balance of letting them play and through dough around and calming them down with colouring and ice cream. Food lovely. Great value for a kids party and no clearing up at the end! We had the whole upstairs to ourselves and they were all really sympathetic and understanding at supporting my daughters additional needs. Went over and above. Thanks so much for making her party so special.

Visited here last week for a birthday meal extremely disappointed, we all finished are pizzas whilst the person who's birthday it was had to wait for pizza to be made again as it was wrong no apology, kids pizza was to spicy for him to eat tasted myself to check it was only a margarita again no apology just I will let the chef know. Table was cleaned said no to dessert waited 15 minutes for bill we all had are coats on be still they just kept walking past. Rubbish service and will definitely not use this restaurant again

If I could leave 0 stars I would!! Was left waiting 15 minutes before being shown to our table even though we had booked and staff constantly walking past ignoring us. When we were finally shown to our table we waited 20 minutes before asking for someone to come and take our drinks order. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive to the table and we waited 45 minutes for our food. The children’s pasta was crunchy and cold, carbonara was crunchy and the other dishes came out tepid. All deserts were cold when described on the menu as warm. We asked for a rainbow ice lolly and and was given a plain one. When we asked to speak to the manager, his tone was rude and made us feel unwelcome. However, Leo the waiter was so lovely, kind, helpful and understanding and seemed to actually understand customer service. Will not be returning in a hurry. Absolutely shocked by this!

My last few trips to pizza express have been the same. Nice food, good service but the condition of the restaurant let's things done. A bit shabby, tired and even dirty. So come on Pizza Express management put some investment into your estate. It's not giving off a go signal.

A spot on place to be in Christchurch. It was our first time dining in pizza express and we have had a very good experience with welcomed staff, nice food, everything was smooth on time and under control. I think it’s fair to say that the manager Davide is very good in his role and the fact that staff and customers feel welcomed and valued it’s very important. Thanks a lot we will be back again

For a first time trying out Pizza Express I thought it would be a good experience but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. When my partner and myself arrived we waited while the waiters finished their social chit chat which had something to do with I’m a Celebrity get me out of here… so nothing of importance, we were then seated and everything proceeded nicely and the service was satisfactory. Whilst on my way back from the toilets I noticed cupboard doors hanging off and a messy bar area. Slightly put off from upstairs I came back down stairs, paid the bill and left. Unfortunately we won’t be returning as my partner has been up all night with food poisoning! I did question her pizza when it arrived but she insisted it was fine but clearly it wasn’t… Wouldn’t recommend.

Went there with my girlfriend, they gave us a table and that was it, we didn't get any order taken for 25mins not even drinks, we tried to make some eye contact with staff members but no luck, step-up your game.

Took over the whole of upstairs for a group of 47 celebrating the end of exams. The restaurant handled things brilliantly. We went for a buffet which was full of delicious salads, pastas and pizzas, plus we had desserts included and a couple of drinks. We had a fantastic evening and we will almost certainly be back for the next planned celebration. We couldn’t thank the restaurant and the guy who looked after us (apologies but I’ve forgotten his name after two many glasses of wine consumed)… he was amazing and so patient with such a large group. I'm not a big fan of pizza express, but had some tesco vouchers. We had booked 30 mins before going. It was packed when we arrived. Had a good pizza and dessert. Very tasty and enjoyable.
