I was served by the delightful Lewis. He warmly greeted me on arrival, pulled up a chair for me, seating me where I asked - by the door (it was warm), helpfully made a personal recommendation on the menu and asked me about my day. He was both efficient and personable, making me feel seen, heard and even appreciated. The calamari wasn't too bad either! Great service and quality food, making for a pleasant evening detour. Highly recommended :)

Firstly, in defense of the team working when I visited, it was the night of an England game and the first Foo Fighters concert at the London Stadium, so as you can imagine, Stratford was busy! However, the management should foresee this and planning staffing appropriately. My friend and I waited for our food a very long time- and you think of Pizza Express as a quick bite really. I do want to thank the staff who kindly advised us of downloading the app to access a discount, this was very much appreciated. Food was tasty and hot- I had a La Reine and a great big bottle of beer, which set me up well for a night of excess beer!

Amazing spot as a solo date, lovely food and was given a lovely table. I was served by Lewis who is an absolute star. Checked up on me and processed mt order quickly and very swiftly. Serving with a smile and starting up conversation hes a lovely person.

Every westfield restaurant is the same, lack of staff/non existent customer service and sadly pizza express lived up to this. Left waiting to check in for our table for 10 minutes, left waiting to order for 20 minutes. Staff were nice when you saw one but they didnt care or had no get go. Wasn’t busy either for a friday lunch time. We were there for an hour and 45 minutes for 2 drinks and 2 mains. Asked for water to 3 different servers from first sitting down, took 45 minutes to get any. Food was lovely was the only highlight. Wouldnt bother again

Absolutely awful customer service. We arrived and were not greeted by server. Just ignored, after 15 mins i went to check if someone could take a drinks order. The server was irritated and said when she is done with two other tables she will come over. Drinks arrived 45 mins later. Our meal ticket was lost, didnt receive dinner till nearly 1.45 hours later. TOTAL JOKE

Were made to feel most welcome here on Saturday when my husband & I visited with our friend who has a qualified Guide dog. we were seated at a lovely table with plenty of room for the dog, who was given water straight away. This was most appreciated as it was such a hot day. My friend was given a Braille menu which she very much appreciated. The food was excellent. the establishment was clean & tidy. Had good air con as well! We were treated no differently than other guests which was great for my friend & her GD. Sadly, this type of treatment is not always experienced by my friend. So Thank you Pizza Express. westfield, for having the right training & executing it perfectly.

Das schlechteste Essen das ich je hatte!!! Meine Teigwaren kamen kühl...der Käse war wohl noch gefroren und die Sauce war echt übel!!! Ah und die Teigwaren kamen fast roh daher. 9Ich habe die Pizza meines Freundes probiert...die war um welten schlechter als diejenigen die ich in Thailand hatte obwohl ich das nicht für möglich hielt! Das Personal war freundlich. Als der Kellner nachfragte ob alles ok war hab ich ihn kurz böse angeschaut und dann ist er wieder verschwunden...ich denke sie wissen das ihr essen scheusslich ist aber niemand unternimmt was. Das essen war nicht mal günstig!!! Die Tische waren...naja schmudelig würde ich das bezeichnen. Wenn Ihr denkt Euer Partner kann nicht kochen geht dort hin und ihr werdet das Essen eures Partmers lieben!!! Ansonsten würd ich auf keinen Fall mehr dort essen!!!!

visited Friday 23rd June 2017 at 4.00pm, thought it wouldn't be busy, how wrong, queued for table, packed - they had so many tables that there was six inches between tables. staff couldn't remember if they had taken orders or who they were serving. it took a long time before the Manager realised that they couldn't cope and stopped seating customers, but it was too late for the customers who had already been sat down

Es un lugar acogedor para las familias. El restaurante está convenientemente ubicado al lado del cine vue. Es un restaurante grande, así que no tuve mucho tiempo de espera. El restaurante se utiliza para niños y fiestas de niños tan habitual de imprescindibles para mantener a los niños ocupados, por ejemplo, colorear etc.. ceras hoja Pizza, bebidas y un menú para los niños era muy buena. La cantidad de comida era suficiente. Ambiente relajado y atento personal. En general tuvimos una agradable comida en este restaurante.

Booking a table was really quick and easy over the phone. Our table was ready when we arrived. Was really busy and the staff very busy too. Food tasted great and was reasonably priced.

Acabé parando aquí y pizza, que probablemente me apetecía comer una vez al año ya que estoy en la minoría de personas que no comen muy a menudo,sin embargo, cuando tengo una pizza me gusta un buen pizzaME SIRVIÓ IGOR, quien fue muy amable desde el principio, explicó el menup detalladamente, tuve un vale, así explicó lo que podría haber en el menú, pero también explicó que si iba a haber una variación, luego podría pero por un suplemento.Él era muy erudito.Había un pequeño problema con la mesa de al lado. Tuvimos que hacer cola durante más de 10 minutos en el exterior (en el centro) - zona de entrada nadie delante de nosotros y 6 miembros del personal nos ignoraba y no reconocer ni una vez! Pregunté por un miembro del personal (posiblemente la gestión - no que viste un uniforme estándar) y ella era demasiado paternalista, inútil y desagradable. Ella sólo procedió a decirnos que estaba haciendo cola en el lugar equivocado y no nos servirá. ¿Por qué no cualquiera de los 6 miembros del personal en los 10 minutos de allí usar su iniciativa y nos informen de lo contrario? ? ? ? Decidimos no comer aquí y no regresaré. Servicio Asqueroso! ! ! ! Creo que necesita su personal en algún tipo de formación en servicio al cliente! ! !

Tenía un vale, sabía lo que quería. No puedo discutir con 2 campos por menos de £10 cada uno. Super servicio rápido y volver a las tiendas! Las mesas están bastante cerca una de la otra y es un restaurante grande. Algunos de los otros restaurantes tenían largas colas, pero nos sentamos aquí enseguida.

Nice little meal. Our waiter was excellent and another waiter Luke I think he said was engaging and friendly. Food was served quickly and efficiently. Only downside was they were not using the Mall seating which gives you a view over to Olympic Park.

Went for lunch before going to Kidzania... Fast and efficient service, and some of the best pizza's I have had in a Pizza Express. Waiter entertained my kids, and left us all feeling well looked after.

Soy un fan de pizza express y el principal motivo por el que sabes lo que vas a encontrar! ! Pizza crujiente delicioso recién preparado, sin protestar, sencilla y llena de sabor. El restaurante estaba lleno cuando estuvimos allí un sábado por la noche, pero nos sentamos y sirve en buen tiempo, sin largas esperas, que odio! ! En general una comida muy agradable.

Me senté a las 3:45 y la agencia cajas asigned a mi mesa estaba pero ella era llamado humping a tomar mi orden. Un entrante, una cerveza y una pizza. Después de esperar 30 minutos + ya que no habíamos visto ni siquiera una cerveza me preguntó acerca de mi orden. Me dijeron después de unos 5 minutos de que mi pedido no estaba en el sistema! Yo reodered pero yo estaba mosqueado en este punto. Fueron de bonanza pero montones de personal (excepto la mía, ella había tomado un descanso). Me dieron mal la cerveza que me dieron y como él hizo a reemplazar mi plato vino. Un plato sencillo; ensalada de tomate, albahaca y mozzarella. Me dieron unos tomates pequeños (no de carne tomates) La mozzarella era casi inexistente y la albahaca era un pesto crudos. En este punto me levanté y a la izquierda. Qué desperdicio de mi tiempo. No volveré.

Visited her on my birthday with my wife and two children, after being shown to our table we then waited 20 mins before asking a member of staff if we could order, he clearly was not overjoyed as I don't think we were one of his tables. Ordered two starters & four pizzas, one starter arrived but not the other which Dually arrived with our pizzas the manager didn't appear to be in cot roll of what his staff were actually responsible for as he repeatedly stood at the pass ringing the service bell for orders to be taken to tables, the staff looked unhappy and even when we wanted to pay the bill they were very reluctant to come with the card machine. Needless to say that we will not return to this restaurant again, if I could of given it 0 for rating I would of !

The thin crust pizzas at this place are simply fantastic and there are a bunch of varieties available to fulfill your needs.

We stopped eating at Pizza Express due to consistently poor service across the chain, but our experience here was the complete opposite.We were seated and served immediately, our food came out really fast and everything was cooked really well (sometimes we've found the pizza bases to be burned) - this was a refreshing surprise as we often find the service quite slow in this chain.We'll definitely return if we need to grab a bite to eat mid-shopping - the other restaurants in the chain should take note.

I visited Pizza Express because I had free coupon there. I thought that it is other king of fast food but It is more restaurant for me! They do a fantastic pizza and I have already tried la pasta too and I was happy with that. Anyway, the salad which I tried was the best salad in London I guess! It surprised me because the taste was different and every ingredients were so fresh, I can recommend you this place. Thank you for a good experience!

Went here on a saturday after doing some christmas shopping.Que was so long but did get seated after a few minutes.Service was great we had a lovely waitress, she was trying to offer us deals about desserts but i explained that I had gestational diabetes and could not eat them.She came back a few minutes later and said that she had told the cooks my situation and they would hurry our order along.5 minutes later we got our food, was so quick.Food was lovely and service was great really enjoyed eating here.would defo go back.

Stopped here for a much needed refuel after a busy day in central london. Restaurant was busy but we were seated straight away. Waitress came over and served us quickly and was really friendly. Food came quickly which was great as we were soo hungry lol. Food was hot and tasty we really enjoyed our meals.Would definatly come back here the next time im at westfield

I had dinner here early on a Friday evening. It looked as if every table was full. However the service was good.Service: It took a little while to be seated but that’s because we had to wait for people to leave to free up tables. However once seated I didn’t have to wait too long either for my order to be taken; or for the food to arrive; or for the bill to arrive when I requested it. All in all the servers did a great job under a very heavy load.Food: Standard Pizza Express fare but one of my favourite GF pizzas. I also left room for Tiramisu which is also very good.Other: The restaurant was noisy with conversation but there’s not much you can do about that I guess.

Arrived at the westfield branch for lunch with my family, on arrival we were told the kitchen is slightly behind and would open in approx 30 minutes (given that they were already 30 minutes over there opening time of 11:00). We returned at the given time by the manager to be greated by a closed doors members of staff were running in through the door obviously late for there agreed start time in order for the restaurant to open. The manager did not come to the entrance to give any explanation of the reason why they were late opening other than a member of staff when asked informed us that the manager had left the keys at home so couldn't open on time. Branch finally opened at 12:15 to trade of which were observed from the restaurant next door. Given the nature of the business being totally customer service driven I wouldn't recommend this restaurant chain to anyone in future. Not to mention the lost revenue this branch lost I'm sure the area manager will be more than happy for the reason of lowered takings.

Girlfriend and our son all had pizza the service was excellent, the pizza was spot on, couldn't ask for more. While we waited for our food the waitress gave our son some crayons and a colouring leaflet to keep him occupied which was a nice touch. Would definatly come back here and definitely recommend this pizza express.

I went here yesterday with my daughter. Firstly we ordered proscecco, one glass was flat but was changed. The food arrived minus the chilli on my daughters pizza. They did sort it straight away making a new meal. All good so far. When we came to pay I very politely pointed out to the waiter the problems we had incurred. He did take off the price of my daughters meal but was very rude. My daughter saw him skating his head and rolling his eyes at us. When we paid he was very beligerant and almost aggressive in his attitude, stating that it was our original waiters first day and that he now felt that he should be on the defensive. We had been very polite and only pointed out that whilst we went for a meal together we dis in fact end up eating separately due to an error on their part. We paid and left very dissatisfied with the way we were made to believe that we were in the wrong. The waiter that dealt with us was very unprofessional and rude. I for one will never go to or recommend pizza express to anyone.

We normally pop there for a quick bite before the cinema. Always busy and staff are great! Sometimes you might have to wait and the outside sitting is not very comfortable but even there you will be served efficiently.

I met a friend here for lunch and the staff were lovely. We had a young child in a pram and the staff were very accommodating. The service was excellent and the food was gorgeous! We both loved our pizzas! A fantastic restaurant and would definitely recommend!

Visited at around 5.30 on 20th Sept. Waited over 55 minutes for our pizza. The guy on the table next to us arrived 20 minutes after us but had eaten his pizza and had coffee by the time our pizza arrived! I asked the wiater why we had been kept waiting so long. He ignored me! I asked him a second time making sure he heard me - he looked at me and said nothing and walked away. I could not beleive how rude he was. I stopped another waiter who was passing and asked the same question. This waiter told me that I had not been kept waiting and that it had been the usual waiting time and he too walked away.I saw a guy wearing a more formal looking shirt, I stopped him as he was walking passed and asked him if he was the Manager. He replied 'give me a minute and i'll be back'. Still not knowking if he was the manager, I waited for him to return.When this guy returned I told him that we had waited over 50 minutes for our pizza and asked why that was. He replied that this was the first he had heard of it and didnt know. He went away to the kitchen and retuned to say that the kitchen had got backed up and so we had needed to wait. I replied that this explanasion did not make sence as the guy on the next table had orded long after us and was now paying and on his way out and yet our pizza had only just arrives. He had no explanation and said he woukd 'do something for us'. He asked if we wanted desserts, which we did not. Finally he took 50% off our bill.The food was really good but the service and waiters are a joke! I would say in summary - if you do go here, if there is anything wrong with you meal or the staff, make sure you complain.

We arrived there at 20:45 on the 20th of September (manager can check who was working ;) )The host was next to the coffee machine just laughing, we waited at least 5min, the restaurant was not busy at all. He saw me after 10 sec but didn t come, then he went to the kitchen staff and laughed again with them while looking at us for the second time... In total he looked at us maybe 4 times but never actually came to us !! At the end a nice waitress arrived and brought us to our table. We advised another waiter that this host was terrible and was not doing his supposed job !A waiter came after a while and asked us for drinks and food while looking to someone else and laughing. He never looked at us in the eyes and kept laughing with people next to the kitchen. He felt bored and we felt like they were just making fun of us. Not a really good feeling when all you want after a hard day of work is relax and have some food.I had some good experiences in the past with Pizza express but to be honest I will never get back to this chain. There is some other place much better for the quality, price and for SERVICE ! I work in catering too and I know how hard is this job, but come on... Even at macdonalds you can get better service...Train your staff ! And watch them during service ! You will have a lots of surprises...

I popped in for lunch today. My waiter very helpfully gave me a double table (I went in early) so I had room for my shopping. He was very friendly - not just towards me, but to other customers as well - and had a laugh with us as he went about his work. I like that. The food was good, I have come to expect a good standard across all the Pizza Express restaurants.

Went for dinner while staying next door at the premier travel inn. Great service from our waitress, Sharon. She was very understanding of the difficulty we had with two our two disabled guests and handled all of us with a great sense of humour. Good meal as well!!

My family & I had a great pizza each and the service was perfect. Westfield is a great day out and Pizza Express help make it an all round great experience.

Incompetent, slow staff who barely acknowledged or paid attention to our order- wasn't noisy or busy yet we he'd to repeat everything we said to our waitress several times. Other servers seemed bored and completely vacant. I don't want over the top cheerful service, but a bit of polite courtesy is always nice.

En pleine journée shopping dans le centre commercial, il a bien fallu se nourrir alors nous avons opté pour une pizza chez Pizza express.Le restaurant se trouve en haut du centre commercial avec vue sur les étages inférieurs.Service sympa, la carte bien fournie, et les tarifs excessifs pour une pizza. En gros 15 livres par personne pour une pizza de taille moyenne. Le souci en fait, c'est le gout, nous avons trouvé nos pizzas fades, un peu sèches.Je ne recommanderai absolument pas ce restaurant, prenez plutôt un sandwich à emporter dans les divers snacks et installez vous dans les différents endroits tout à fait confortable du centre commercial pour les déguster.

Service is next to nothing! Seated ourselves as there was no one at the front to greet and seat. Waited twenty minutes then asked for a drink ourselves! No cutlery! Table next to us wasn't cleaned even when we left! English minimal! Manager was clueless when we asked about money of voucher! Took ten mins to get a jug of water! Lack of staff clearly! Not trained to provide excellent customer service to one customer not alone every, way of minimal standard. Please hire more staff who are more trained and more welcoming we are using your service so provide us with a service that we pay for.

Came here mid week for dinner. Great atmosphere and pretty busy too. Fast and friendly service. Ordered a pizza each which were cooked well, very tasty. Useful tip: there's often offers on. We took advantage of 30% off our food bill just by googling deals.

Little portions comparatively to price. Slow to serve and meals came slower than average however it was quite busy. 25 pounds for two mains plus two drinks with a Westfield vip 20% discount.

We had hoped to use our o2 priority vouchers but could not unfortunately. After asking we were given the special offer set menu. It does disappoint me that you have to ask for the set menu instead of being offered it. We went with friends and had 4 children between us. They enjoyed watching the chef cook the food. Lovely atmosphere, I would go again.

Family of four went here last Saturday after shopping around 8:00pm for dinner. It was busy with a few table left unseat. We waited for nearly 10 mins until there is staff available to serve as the people in front were a large group without reservation. We ordered pizzas and a kid meal but the waiter missed the children order as a mistake. My son needed to wait another 10 mins to have his pizza and dough balls finally arrived while everyone finished the meals. The food was good with a mix of poor and unhearted service. Guess all the staff were stress and tired. Will go back when it is less busy next time.

Visited Pizza Express in Westfield Stratford numerous times now. Consistently good food as you would expect from this chain.

We like pizzas and thought we'd try this for a change. However, the guy who greete4d us showed us to a dirty table and then just disappeared, but did come back to clean it. we had no cutlery though. The menu was uninspiring and the layout is all over the place, it felt too packed in.We ordered starters and whilst they weren't as expected, they were nice enough. Pizzas arrived soon after, in fact my daughter was still eating her starter. The pizzas were OK but nothing special. We enjoyed our gelato desserts but they took an age to arrive and then the bill was not cheap either. Luckily we had a discount voucher but it still wasn't cheap. We'd go again but it won't be our first choice and I can't see it being any time soon.

You always know you are going to get a great meal and a decent price at Pizza Express.The difference in the impression left is often the service.Gladly, we had a great waitress, (megan), nothing was too much trouble, very proactive and made the whole experience excellent.

Turned up for a table for 2 and was greeted by an untidy waiter who didn't speak to us but held up 2 fingers to indicate to us. He didn't ask us to follow him but pointed to 2 tables and asked which we wanted... both were unclean, and neither had a full set of cutlery. We witnessed another person also taking offense at this man because he had forgotten about them and hadn't given them a menu. After just 1 minute we decided we'd be better served elsewhere.Never had a problem here before; I live and work nearby so this is a regular for us. Was immediately served, and had attentive service in Wagamama.

This was a shame I've been here twice now first time was fine service maybe a little slow but it was incredibly busy so wasn't that bothered by it. However this time round was just awful it was incredibly quiet with staff almost outnumbering customers yet once we were shown to our table it was a good 15 minutes if not more before we were even acknowledged by a staff member to take our order, in this time there was a family of three and another couple who had waited for a similar amount of time both of which decided to leave after the disappointing service before ordering. While the food we had was good it just didn't redeem the all round disappointment we had for the waiters/waitresses they just didn't seem bothered or caring for any customer so much so that I don't think I'll ever come back here to eat.

This restaurant is located within the Westfield Shopping Centre and was busy on the Friday night that we visited. Saying that, we were seated very quickly and soon had drinks and doughballs. Our pizzas arrived 10mins later and were fab. We also had an awesome server called Hannah who took great care of us. Well worth a visit!

Excellent Pizzas for vegetarians and great service from our table waiter. One large Peroni was £7 which I thought was a bit expensive. My choice to buy it of course. Definitely recommend a visit as pizzas are large and very tasty.

My wife and I visited Pizza Express at Westfield. The service was okay, but rather rushed. Our starter was delivered and whilst we were eating it the main course arrived. This has never happened to us before and frankly was unacceptable! In addition when ordering desserts half of the selection on the menu was unavailable. Food was fine, albeit my wife was ill shortly after. It is her opinion the food caused this, albeit we cannot prove that. Service was okay but not very engaging. If honest, was a disappointment and we would not return to this specific location.

Visited this place just a few weeks ago and my goodness it was the first time I came and the food was just spectacular. My son really enjoyed himself and when the waitress gave him books and colourings and stickers it just made his evening!! Very child friendly and also just loved our Arabiatta pasta and the presentation was really nice!!

This is my first visit to Westfield Pizza Express but definitely not the last one. We have booked a table for 40 people here as no one else would have taken our booking. Staff was incredible and amazing, nothing was a problem for them. Food came out quick and really tasty and we have taken advantage of £9.95 which saved us couple of £££ fundred pounds.Thank you very much!

Restored my faith in Pizza chains. We ate at Pizza Express Westfield with a large group on Saturday and could not have had a better meal.The service was quick and the team very friendly and professional.

Nous y sommes allés un samedi midi;Situé au beau milieu du centre commercial.Accueil sympathique (le service n'est pas compris dans le prix du repas, ça change tout!)Nous avons chacun pris une pizza (une reine et une Hawaiienne)Suite aux conseils du serveur, nous avons opté pour une pâte fine.Les pizzas arrivent: Pâte très fine effectivement, mais je suis surpris du peu d'ingrédients sur la pizza! Il y en a au moins 3 fois plus dans les pizzerias auquelles je vais en France...A noter: Il est possible de demander de l'eau du robinet ("tap water"), sinon vous aurez une bouteille payante.A plus de 15€ la reine (service non compris!), c'est raide comme tarif pour ce que c'est!

Great place to grab a pizza, while you are shopping and nice atmosphere when you sit inside. Doesn't feel as though you are sitting in a shopping centre. We got caught out however, as you can't use a taste card here!

Never been to a pizza express before so was really looking forward to this visit. Starters came very quickly but then thier was about 40 min wait for second course, I only ordered the bolognese pasta and it was very burnt ! I sent it back and by the time mine was brought out again my family had nearly finished thiers which proves a little awkward and quite frankly ruins the meal. The manager came out and took mine off the bill without argument which was very nice of him.

As a regular here it's always a pleasure to experience such good customer service, consistently. Food is good quality. Shame that the offers online are rarely extended to include Stratford.

Had dinner here last week with a friend. We sat in the outside are in the shopping centre, a good spot for people watching!!! The waiter was very friendly. Had garlic bread for starters, a bit dissapointed with it as tasted more like bread and butter, hardly any garlic. My main course I had pizza was yummy. The puddings were great too.

Yesterday me and my boyfriend visited Pizza Express at Stratford Westfield. It was our first time there and it was totally fantastic. We've been served by Hannah and had such a great time. Everything was really tasty and came quick. Definitely gonna come back. Thanks!! :)))

I visited Pizza express with my mum for a bit of lunch, it was really busy but we were sat down quickly and our order taken. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, it then arrived cold.... extremely disappointed

I always know that the food is going to be great at this branch of Pizza Express. However, I did not anticipate the service would be so laid back when my partner and I visited on Thursday lunchtime. The restaurant was less than half full. It was fine and friendly of course, but I thought perhaps diners would have appreciated a bit more of an attentive service looking around the restaurant.

We were really looking forward to our visit to Pizza Express as we had received a voucher as part of a Christmas gift from a friend. Unfortunately although the standard of food is what you'd come to expect from Pizza Express the service was the worst I have ever encountered in a restaurant. The initial order was taken fairly quickly but from that moment on we were totally ignored by all the waiting staff. I wouldn't mind but the place wasn't exactly busy. We sat with dirty plates, empty glasses and were never asked about our food, to look at the desert menu or anything. I even had to go and find someone to ask for the bill. At the end I left angry, frustrated and disappointed. There are plenty of choices of places to eat in Westfield - don't choose here!

Having booked a concert at 02 we had to grab some food and decided that a quick stop at Pizza Express would do the job.Overall experience was good,food (mains) did take 30 minutes to be delivered to our table but was tasty when it did and a mix of pizzas, pasta etc. and all were well cooked and tasted good, we didn't get offered desserts until we asked for the bill but unfortunately due to time we had to decline but maybe next time. Not having visited a PE restaurant before can't say any real complaints and staff were friendly so would definitely go back again.

We had not planned on eating here but after be letting down at another restaurant we ended up here. The serve was excellent, staff friendly and quick to take order, even giving recommendces as to what toppings would go best on pizza to replace black olives. Drinks and food was quick to be served to us.

Tasty and satisfying lunch. Pizzas of good quality . Light crisp bases . Plenty of entertainment from the kitchen staff tossing unfeasibky large pizzas. Our waiter was full of personality and very helpful and efficient. Happy satisfied kids and adults mission accomplished

We visited here for a quiet Monday dinner and after 5 minutes after ordering, the waiter come back to say they were introducing a new menu the next day and consequently they had taken the mac 'n' cheese off the menu a day early. And also the coleslaw. And the caramelised onions. And avocado. And broccolini. Basically everything we had ordered.He was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do. To cap it all off, the service was very slow, the tables around us had their starts AND mains come out before our (only course) mains, even though we had ordered before them!

Team team members, very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Food was very well cooked and will be going back very soon

Six of us ate here on 05/03/16, on arrival there was a queue, this reduced quickly, we were seated swiftly & drinks ordered, service was good, despite it being very busy, only issue was an incorrect bill that was sorted immediately when pointed out.

Inizio col dire che sono stata in questo ristorante in un orario in cui era affollatissimo, quindi mi sento di giustificare la lunga attesa. Devo dire di essere rimasta positivamente colpita dalla pizza, molto buona rispetto alla media di quelle che ho assaggiato qui a Londra! Il personale è stato inoltre cordiale, nonostante fossero chiaramente tutti un po' di fretta vista la quantità di clienti affamati.Consiglio in particolare questo ristorante per i celiaci che volessero mangiare una pizza, in quanto, seppur un po' bassina, è migliore di quelle proposte da altre catene.

Ho pranzato qui con una mia amica. Ci siamo trovate molto bene, abbiamo ordinato un antipasto, una pizza e qualcosa da bere, tutto molto buono, servizio veloce e personale gentile! Consigliato!

We went for dinner on saturday 20 feb,we where 6 people,food good,very busy place,good value and happy custumers.

Food was okay but in party of 6. Some starters delivered late and we had to wait for 1 one main dish of pasta??

The food is really really good especially dough balls. The server was extremely friendly and entertained my kids. He provided them with many drawing paper and pencil. They really loved it. Highly recommended.

One of the few restaurants you can go into and the staff have taken the time to recognise returning customers and sometimes even your order. Food arrives on time, tastes great and isn't extortionate.

Se come muy bien, no es super barato, pero el lugar esta bien ambientado, el personal que nos atendió muy amable.

We had eaten previously at Strada but they lost our reservation so we chose to go elsewhere even though there was plenty of space.50m away Pizza Express was busy and buzzing yet we were offered a lovely window table straightaway by the cheerful and charming Gerano.We ordered wine and water (cheaper and better than Strada) as well as olives and sun-dried tomatoes for nibbles. The mains of mushroom/chicken bosso and lasagne with polenta chips did take 40 mins to appear but the wait was worth it. In particular, the polenta chips were historic.Gerano was efficient and attentive and the restaurant remained busy and humming throughout our time there. Strada or Pizza Express next time - definitely the latter.

We went there for a meal after work, in 4. Since we were seated, it took a long time for the waiter to come and pick up the order. When he eventualy did, he was pleasant and helpful. I ordered a bruschetta con funghi as a starter and when it did come, it was a total disappointment: a piece of what seemed to be baked dough, just like the dough balls they serve, topped with mushrooms and red onions in a creamy sauce very rich and heavy. It was nothing like what a bruschetta is about! Even if it was a modern/different approach to a classic italian dish, it was still a disaster.Then i got a pizza Diavola, romana base (thin and crispy). The only Romana thing about my pizza was the size, larger then the usual pizza, but not crispy enough. I would say a mediocre attempt.The wait between the main and being asked if we were interested in a desert was far too long again. I asked for a lemon sorbetto and i was brought a rasberry one, luckily i don't mind rasberries.The waiter was polite and offered to change it.Overall it was an ok experience however if you expect an authentic italian pizza/starters, don't get your hopes high.

The restaurant is within Westfield, Stratford, a nice large size. Food very good and value OK but the service was just too slow and they do not accept Taste Card at this restaurant, unacceptable. Will go to a different Pizza Express next time.

Late afternoon on Friday 30th October. Very busy with shoppers plus people, like us, going to the Rugby World Cup match at the nearby Olympic Stadium. We were served by three attentive waiters who dashed about under pressure but still with lots of smiles. Meal was good and beers nice and cold. We'll go again next Saturday (England V New Zealand, Rugby League at the Olympic Stadium) and we'll look forward to a pizza.

Myself and my fiance ate at Pizza Express in Westfield Stratford, on Saturday 17th October.We were given the option to sit inside the restaurant, or in the area outside (in the shopping centre). We were then seated outside in a quiet area, where the waitress said would be more romantic, which I thought was lovely.We were then introduced to our waiter, who gave us our menus, then took our order.We ordered starters and mains, and after quite a long wait our mains were bought out to us before the starters!Our waiter took them straight back, and came to apologise for his mistake.We soon received our starters, then our mains which were delicious!Although a mistake was made, the fast service of the waiter, and his apology made it soon forgotten.The name of our waiter was Jean, and he had a fab personality and excellent manner with all of the customers surrounding us. He made us feel very welcome, and was extremely polite and helpful.I would definitely eat at this restaurant again, and would very much like to be served by Jean, as he is a great member of the Pizza Express team.Thanks!xxx

Went with a friend, restaurant was fairly empty so how hard can it be to literally wait 5 tables between about 6 waiters !? We were sat at the back in an orange booth and ignored for ages when we tried to order, they all stayed at the front of the restaurant no idea why but they need to sort out their system. Felt kind of discriminated against aswell as most of the other diners were white and called the waiter after us but we were told to wait with a mere flick of a wrist , felt like we were being way too nice to waiters who treated us like trash :( Also it didnt go unnoticed that they smiled and offered a pizza cutters to everyone around us , and then asked if their meals were okay, simple little things that the white diners were given and we werent. E.g. Woman next to us complaining about why she even has kids to her toddler because they cant eat pizzas (i know riduculous right?!) was repeatedly asked if everything was okay and the guy cut the kids pizza and gave them yes a pizza cutter ..Also the voucher deals are a complete rip off, a guy with black curly hair will tell you that your meal qualifies for the discount and then at the end of the meal you'll have spent £30 plus and told that the voucher doesnt work. Basically come here if you are white british or atleast look it, are rude to waiters because they are obviously so beneath you .. And like being lied to and waiting around lots! I dont usually write reviews but felt that this kind of discriminating service was especially worrying . Its so terrible all i cant do is try and laugh it off *sigh*

Food was ok but quite a long wait (35 mins) and the restaurant wasn't even full. The tables around us were empty but still covered in food, debris and mess from a group that had been there before. Was ok but wouldn't return in a hurry.

Ogni volta che abbiamo cercato di andare a cenare qui, arrivando in perfetto orario (21.15), ci hanno sempre mandato via dicendo che potevamo soltanto usufruire del servizio take away. Sottolineo che nel sito c'è scritto che l'orario di chiusura di questo locale è alle 22.00!!!!!! Camerieri pigri che sbuffano quando ti vedono e non vedono l'ora di andarsene a casa. Mi chiedo se esista un manager in questo posto...

The food was not as good as the stanmore location, The service was ok, they got our order wrong was it was disappointing. They got it wrong twice. It was super busy so many the food disappointment followed. The pizza was just not as tasty as I have had at other locations and I expected more from a busy place like this.
