This is not the cano of old. Different owners, different ingredients, different quality. It's a factory made base I think, bad sauce, undercooked. Would avoid unless very desperate

Can't understand why I've just ordered a SALAD on a Saturday night and it's the freshest most lovely salad ever?! Also pretty sure their chilli sauce is home made, so fresh and perfect, can't cope with how high quality this place is and consistent too 👌

great little place, the gyros are amazing and prices are surprisingly low. The staff is always friendly and helpful, we visit it often and i really can't recommend them enough

I order them on a regular (Maybe once or twice a month) for the past 2 years. Always thought their pizzas where one of the best that Leeds had to offer at least near me. I ordered two pizzas and for some reason both felt off then what it regularly tastes like, I can't describe in detail but it 100% did not taste the same as it used to. Pepperonis didn't taste the same at all, felt chewy and flavour was off. I hope this is an isolated incident . Because I just wasted 20 bucks + on delivery to not even end up eating a single slice from either pizza that's how bad the taste was. I won't be ordering from them again until I see positive reviews crop up soon. Again I hope these pizzas where just from a bad batch and not be made the norm or this place will go downhill fast. Giving it 3 stars not to tank their reputation as they are normally good. Just not tonight sadly.

Delicious pizza, but the other things on the menu are overpriced. They also charge for sauces. Stingy. Feels like I'm being ripped off. Won't come back.

Always regarded the pizza here as being very nice. Have always been a return customer. However about a week ago I ordered from their Uber eats page; 2 chocolate fudge cakes and one cookies and cream stack which came to a value of £12. After an hour I got a notification saying the order had been cancelled with no further information. I then called up and asked why and the manager - Ali, proceeded to swear at me repeatedly for ordering just desserts and no main. He said they cannot just send me desserts. However this is not stated anywhere on their Uber eats page or their website or menu. I was verbally abused over and over after giving them my money. It’s not exactly hard for them just to put the cakes in a bag and give to the driver is it? It’s not like they’ve got to bake a whole cake from scratch. An absolute joke of a place. Ali was exceptionally rude and I will not be returning here. I advise you don’t either. Very disappointed. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life.

OK. So this place has been going for years and years, has a good reputation in Hyde Park and has done for a long time. The problem is, this is not the same place that opened all those years ago, well it is but by name only! I recently moved back to the area after about 13 years away and was dead excited about having another pizza from here, but its changed No longer the same pizza at all! What shame 🫠 My worries began while I watched the make it, cooked in one of those grill ovens that pizza hut and domino's use. And it l tastes very very similar to a pizza hut thin pizza, in fact almost the same. So if ypu like pizza hut great, go here and pay 7.20 for pepperoni pizza and save yourself about 8 quid. But if you are old like me and wanted a taste of the pizza cano of old dont bother, it exists now only in our memories .

Tasty, but pretty average. 50mins to deliver half mile away...but it was Friday night. Check out El Faro as an alternative.

I have come here many times and it’s my go to for pizzas. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and social even after midnight!

Barely edible food at a ridiculous price. They even have the nerve to describe their muck as "Greek food" deceiving me into ordering what they described as gyros (soggy bread with dry chicken drowned in cheap Indian sauces) Embarrassing.

I’ve been to this place an innumerable amount of times, EVERY SINGLE TIME the mixed gyro has been brilliant. Consistency to the max. This place is brilliant for what it is, looking at the reviews it appears people have a trouble with the delivery time. If you are in Hyde park and feel like a takeaway, nothing beats this place, it’s brilliant, get a gyro and you won’t be disappointed.

Don't question their cleanliness, they will berate you like a child and throw you out. Disgusting level of customer service! Please don't order from here!! Just wanted some chicken nuggets! Oh and they are rather racist! Still waiting for my money back

I got a texas barbecue pizza. 10/10, one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Perfect crispy crust, flavoursome sauce, plenty of meat, my new go-to pizza place.

The pizzas from here are so good! The bbq chicken and pepperoni one is amazing. Thin square pizzas, even the crusts are good! I did order a kebab the first time I ordered and it wasn’t great but that doesn’t bother me, they are a pizza place and that’s what they do best so I literally just order pizza. Great prices too for what you get!

Pizza here has changed a lot since I last went a couple of years ago. It’s now super thin, square and very tasty.

Food was 55 minutes late. Twice I contacted the restaurant and twice was told it had already left the restaurant and would be with me in 5-10minutes, rather than just admitting they were behind. It was only a donner kebab so pretty much zero prep time. No excuses for the delay and zero excuses for the lying

I have ordered tonight for delivery and asked for extera jalapenos on my pizza, one drink and 2 sauces. As I was their regular customer I wasn't expected to receive such a bad food. The pizza was cold, they didn't put the jalapenos as well, they forget the drink and sauces. I called the shop and ask please send them and they said ok we will send them. The driver just bought a pepsi max and gave it to me but I ordered a normal pepsi. Also he said you haven't paid for the sauces then I don't bring them for you. I was shocked. After that I call the shop 15 times but they didn't answer . Anyway I never order again from them and I never recommend it to you. Asma

I get pizza here pretty often, they know my order off by heart now. The guys here are lovely and the food is always good. There is nearly always a wait but I think it's worth it to support these guys and get lovely pizza.

Absolutely terrible service. Been inside for 20 minutes waiting for someone to take my order and I simply had to leave, what a waste of time. I understand it has been busy but the guy answered the phone 7 times whilst I was there and was saying sorry to me. I mean what the hell? You are placing orders in front of me, which i haven't even ordered yet. Learn how to prioritise your customers and making any difference. Never coming back to this fast food.

The Tandoori Chicken pizza was decidedly average. It was edible but a bit soggy, very little chicken and overly salty. It was cheaper than some others but for the quality at the top end price wise.

My delivery was 45 minutes late ancame cold the staff was rude and so was delery driver he ignored me when I asked why it was late

Shocking!!! Changed hands the pizzas are smaller the meat is cheap and they have changed the menu and not for the best. I have been going there for over ten years and now I wouldn't even bother. 1 out of 10. #SHOCKING!!!!!

Used to get pizza here years ago, 13 or so. Recently returned to Leeds and dropped in after a gig at the brudenell. Asked for a recommendation. I received a Chicago Bear. Best takeaway pizza I ever ate. The crust used to be pretty lairy, but it's restrained now. The flavour, the taste, wow. So good. Hope I can get delivery tomorrow. Yumm. O.

Hands down the best pizza in Hyde park and possibly in Leeds, definitely the best service of any fast food restaurant in the area.

Ordered one of their meal deals which was for 2 pizzas (we got Steve Austin and Shout out), garlic bread and chips. We asked them to put cheese on the chips (through the comment function on their website) as there was not an option to include this with the meal deal. Their website was easy to use and there was also 10% discount for ordering through there too. The food came within the time stated and was lovely and hot on arrival however unfortunately they'd forgotten the garlic mayo. They apologised and brought it straight back for us! The pizzas were absolutely gorgeous & cheesy chips were full of cheese and had some sort of seasoning on it which was so tasty. Garlic bread was pizza based which was nice but probably not my favourite. Amazing value for the price!!! Thank you Pitza Cano!

Their ‘posh pizzas’ are great quality and cheap, noticeably better than other basic takeaways in the area. Their deals are good too.

Ordered food from the Meanwood Road outlet, as had had a good experience with Burt and Nelly’s. After placing the order, the website suggested it would arrive in a very scientific 38 minutes. An hour and a half later, and after two phone calls, it finally arrived. The food was good, but we were a little frustrated that it took so long. Not least because it was for a family meal, and therefore there were children’s bedtimes to plan around. Might give it a go again sometime, but only if I’m indifferent about when I want it to arrive.

Do not take any chances with this establishment . I ordered a delivery and it arrived undercooked . Meat half cooked and vegetables almost raw .I was put onto the manager who said he never sends food out food uncooked . Which is basically calling me a liar , He then said " what do you want me to do " I'll never recommend this place to anyone again . They really do not care .

Great pizza, well priced. Gave my friend a free garlic bread pizza and bottle of wine for her birthday too.

We ordered two pizzas, and I had to call 3 times to tell them it hadn't arrived. It took 90 minutes for them to arrive. One pizza was the wrong order, so I called back a 4th time. The manager knew the full situation, but didn't offer to send the right pizza out, or any kind of discount. After asking several times, he agreed to send the correct pizza out, and to add some garlic bread, chocolate cake and a bottle of coke, free of charge. We had to wait a further hour for our corrected order to arrive. When it did, there was no chocolate cake and no coke. I called bag a 5th time, only to be told that the manager was "too busy" to speak to me. The young man on the phone, who I had been in contact with the whole time, ended the situation by simply telling me he couldn't do anything, and hanging up. We paid full price and waited a total of 3 hours to get our order, after 5 phonecalls and several mistakes. I have no idea what kind of racket the new management are running, but I won't ever be ordering again.

One fine evening I bought a doner kebab from this establishment after a few previous positive experiences - the pizzas were always nice in the past. My kebab was very greasy and unappetising and I ate it with a sense of disappointment at the poor flavours. An hour later I started to feel a bit down and sluggish. I hoped this would pass. Fast forward a few hours and I was vomiting all night followed by an entire morning of diarrhoea. I spent the next two days weak and in bed, I had to cancel work and was not even well enough to watch telly. I have never since visited this disgraceful establishment despite it being one of my closest local take always. Furthermore ever since I have made a point of looking up hygiene ratings of take away every time before I order, looking Pitza Cano up retrospectively. I found it to be a two star, no surprise there! Avoid and save yourself the risks. Worth paying the extra for a papa johns pizza, to avoid the trials and tribulations of food poising.

Really dissapointed with how much these pizzas have changed. Embarrasingly so, me and a friend have had these every weekend over the last month or so and the last two weeks have been completely different to the pizzas weve been eating over the last ten years at Cano. They look shop bought, they come in a different box and they taste different, not a good different!

They added my number to a spam text message list, sending weekly "deals" which I can unsubscribe from. The food they serve is not worth the spam you receive, disappointing!!!!!

Whenever I'm in the area, I pester for Pizza Cano! A great pizza and it's fun to watch people make it in the big open room they have here.

Went to a gig for first time at the Brudenell - wanted some food afterwards and this place looked good - you can see your pizza being freshly made - was impressed by such a wide range of varieties but just went for the current special 'Meat Monster' was able to book a taxi whike I waited - love the music they play! By the time the cab arrived pizza was ready - absolutely delicious - best pizza I have ever tasted from a takeaway - unfortunately I live order in Lancashire but will definitely visit again if going to the Brudenell, well worth checking out this place rather than the pizza van at the club and such good value

Having been born and bred in Hyde Park Iv been buying from Pitza Cano since it first opened about 25 years ago. It had always been my favourite pizza shop, it just tasted different from the rest. Even when I moved away - I would still drive 5 miles fit they're food.

Hemos estado recibiendo pizza desde aquí por unos 10 años, ya que se cambiaron al otro lado de la calle han ido cuesta abajo. La última pizza que me dieron era horrible, el queso cremoso y muy procesados parecía, no estoy seguro de si podría ser pasado como queso y en general la pizza parecía desnuda. Es una pena, realmente me encantó este lugar. No vamos a volver.

We've been getting pizza's from here for about 10 years, since they moved across the road they've gone down hill. The last pizza I got was horrible, the cheese seemed processed and very creamy, not sure if it could be passed as cheese and in general the pizza seemed bare. It's a shame I really loved this place. Won't be going back.

Best take away pizza by far! Always comes on time and is always made fresh. Chip portions are crazy big, 10/10
