I had a great experience at pitta lab! I visited the store and had both coffee and Greek desserts as well as THE BEST PORK GYROS WRAP! it’s so worth it!!

Terrible service- placed my order after 9:20 via deliveroo app. Initially my order went through and it was given an estimated time of 25 minutes. I was waiting to receive my delivery with no success. I contact the shop and they they told me that after 10pm there is no delivery/service.

As written on their website ‘we guarantee you an unforgettable Greek experience’ and that’s just what they offered. We received excellent service with so much love and kindness that my friend and I were sad while having our last bites. I had the famous chicken gyros while my friend had pork gyros and we both loved our orders. Looking forward to a second experience at pitta lab.

I tried the sausage in a box and it was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the price was very good for the quality. Definitely recommended.

I leave this review with a heavy heart, i don't like to knock new businesses but felt i needed to do this one. Me and my friend went to pitta lab today for lunch, after hearing rave reviews and after viewing the pics, i was expecting something quite special. Unfortunately disappointed. The chicken and pork wrap left alot to be desired, mainly the meat was very fatty and loads of skin on, which i picked off and grappled with for quite a fair amount of time. Not a fun experience when you just want to get it down ya! Fair enough meat off the spit is going to be fatty, but it dosen't have to literally be all fat and skin 😣 The owner also told us he was cooking everything fresh, which i was pleased with, even though it would take time to cook, i thought it would be more than worth it. Yet after 2 minutes our food was ready, ie not cooked fresh, just warmed leftovers. Overall was disappointed, and my friend left the vast majority of hers, for this reason. Shame, opportunity missed. Sharwma in queen street is better, they actually cook things from fresh, which helps. I'll go there again next time. But on this occasion, cant recommend pitta lab. Geninely thought that was going to be my local go to.

Fantastic street food. Tasty chicken, beautifully fresh pitta and such good value! Love it. And just found out it’s on Deliveroo too! My boys are so excited! Will definitely be making it our go-to place for lunch when we’re in town! Thinking about what excuse to use next to go into town around lunchtime!

We were in Colchester shopping over lunchtime and didn't even know this was here but would definitely come here again for lunch. We got 2 wraps and got a free drink (Who doesn't love free stuff) and pittas with Houmous. All of it was excellent and would thoroughly recommend.

The Pitta Lab is amazing! I went twice in one day just to get a delicious gyro! Their gyros are better than most I’ve had in Greece!! By far the best in Colchester and the lowest price in Colchester! The guy running the stand is super friendly too! But I have to reiterate THE BEST gyros for THE LOWEST price! It’s a great place to get a quick healthy lunch however they do take some time to make but the wait is well worth it!! I would definitely recommend it as one of the best places to get food in Colchester.

My daughter and I, ordered the pitta club -- chicken. It was absolutely delicious! The value for money is fantastic too. The portion was very generous. I want to go back to buy more already 🤗🤭.
