Visited after hearing that this is the new location of 'Pita Crepe' Really expensive compared to the portion size and quality of the old place, I understand that a physical store will have higher overheads than a trailer, but the offerings aren't good value, and anecdotally Pita Crepe tasted better. There's similar and better value propositions to be had for the same food in a close proximity to Pita Box now, so really can't give it a good rating. Pita Crepe was far superior.

Firstly, its super overpriced, 2 x chicken pitta wraps both with a med salad, 1 coffee and a water £14.70 - the chicken is dark brown, soft and mushy and with absolutely no taste and after a few hours, felt rather sick and unwell. I wont be eating here again.

Shame they’ve changed the chicken tikka. What was chicken pieces in sauce at Pitta Crepe is now a dry tasteless thing on a stick. My son who used to love his tikka wrap is gutted! Change it back or we won’t be visiting anymore. Bring back the original pitta crepe recipes and combo deals!

Prices have been hiked, making it an expensive lunch even as a ‘Friday treat’ Their gorgeous chunky chicken tikka is now a dried strip of minced chicken with not much flavour. Chips have also changed which is a shame as they were tasty, now just average. Hopefully they resume what made them a top Alti food place otherwise the customers will dry up like the chicken has!

I was a longtime regular of Pitta Crepe due to working in the local area, and was a big fan of the food and value for money. Unfortunately Pita Box has managed to undo everything that was great about the original. - Chip platter: can no longer mix your meats on a large unless you want to pay nearly double what it used to cost. - Platter used to come with a pita, now it doesn't. No option to go 50/50 with rice too. - The chicken tikka used to be amazing, real chicken chunks in a really tasty sauce. This has been replaced by dry skewers of chicken mince. - Switch to skin on fries is alright; but if this is one of the reasons for the higher prices it's just not worth it - the fries were perfectly tasty. The place no longer feels good value for money or a standout place for taste. Hopefully the owner takes the feedback on board as based on other recent reviews i'm not the only formerly loyal customer feeling like this.

Very Expensive compared to Pita Crepe. Also the meats are all dry and taste like they have been sat there for hours. Cheap Minced chicken is passed off as real chicken and has no flavour. They charge extra for sauces and the drinks are from a machine that tastes rubbish compared to cans. Will not be revisiting bring back Pita Crepe.

Awful compared to the last franchise (Pitta crepe). Bad food, complicated menu. Don’t fix whats not broke!

Round the corner from work so eat here quite often. Never had a problem. Always love the food here and have tried all the meats including falafel. Morrocan Lamb is my favourite though. The only thing I will say is that I never feel full after it but might be because I'm greedy and it's so good.

Being vegetarian, I eat a lot of falafel. Swayed by the unanimous 4 and 5 star reviews, I thought this falafel van in Alty must be on a par with the fantastic wraps I've eaten in places like Bristol and Berlin. Yuk! Firstly £3.80 gets you the smallest falafel wrap you've ever seen, containing just 2 microwaved falafel and some iceberg lettuce and onion and a tiny spread of hummus. The falafel was just crumbs and soggy from being microwaved. I took two bites and threw the soggy mess in the bin. By far the worst falafel I've ever eaten.

Pitta Crepe is a great place to grab lunch on the go, I have never had a bad dinner from here. Service is always great and there is a decent size menu to choose from. A must try next time you are in Altrincham.

My work colleagues and I love pitta crepe, we go atleast every two weeks. They staff are so lovely and will accommodate any requests you have! #thechickentikkaisamazing!

I'm a bit annoyed with myself that I have walked past for a couple of years and not tried this - as now I know I have been missing out on some amazing food! For some reason it looks a bit understated hence I haven't tried it. It would give some of the big restaurants some concern if everyone locally gets to know about this great place!

You can find pitta crepe located in the lower stamford quarter, near the big Wilkinsons, eaten here on several occasions! Sometimes the staff are on a break but when when available you can grab yourself some great sweet and savoury crepes. Perfect for your lunch break or a treat at the weekends!

I had the Chicken Tikka with chips, rice and salad, and have to say it was amazing, I've only been to this place once before for a crepe, but will be back for more savoury snacks, brilliant!

I love, love, love the crepe van.. I go there every time I'm in altrincham without fail.. The crepes are beautiful made, by the friendliest staff! I have Nutella and lemon, which isn't on the menu but it made specifically to my liking and is beautiful! Highly recommend!

I've visited Pitta Crepe god knows how many times, and the service is always fast, the food always tastes great and when they have specials on like the Jerk Chicken, Peas and Rice. Get it!

Great food, very posh and was actually quite romantic. I had the Chicken Tikka Pitta with Chips and a tango, all for £5! Visited with my mate Dave!

Get down here, and try the Moroccan lamb sandwich wrap with mint sauce, hot chilli and sweet chilli and get cheese with it too (it's like grated cheddar cheese) it's so nice! The pancakes are great as well as anything else they do. Really impressed with this, and I go here frequently, it's epic.It's freshly made (as you can see in the pictures)

Used to see this place regularly on my way to the Gym. Thought of giving it a try during lunch. Had a really good tasty chicken tikka wrap with healthy helping of salad and variety of different sauces to choose from. Friendly attendant, quick service. Would definitely visit again to try other wraps/crepes. Would recommend my colleagues to come here for lunch too.

the food from this vendor is not made it is opened poured and mixed in. fair play the crepes are a nice thing to be doing but the bloke makes jerk chicken with a jar of sauce rather than creating the meal from scratch.

Love this place - used to go quite often as lived 1 minute walk away but since moving and with the market food hall opening have neglected it of late until recently returning and being reminded how it is Love the falaffal and chicken tikka pitta and would highly recommend Think it may get overlooked due to its location and have thought would be nice for the van to be nearer the markets but without taking away it's individuality ?Always amazed by how clean and organised the van is for such a small working area Will make more of an effort to not overlook and visit more often

Obviously it's popular but food nothing special. Came with a newborn and chose the van for speed of service. One member of staff was patronising and intolerant (he was busy checking out the backside of previous female customer as she walked away) and when I requested some patience I was given none. Won't be giving any repeat custom, and won't recommend anyone I know, and I know a lot...

After a heavy gym session in the nearby Pure Gym we decided to treat ourselves and grab a kebab from Pitta Crepe. Opting for a chicken tikka with spicy sauce we weren't disappointed. Well worth a visit for a quick bite!

This food is fresh clean and fantastic. You can tell the guys that run the van have a real passion for food. Excellent value for money and the best on the high street!

Food is good, over priced though for what it is. Can get food that's just as nice but much cheaper at multiple places in the area.

Have been here a couple of times (though it is not a restaurant, just a street food vendor) the quality of the food is terrific, the morroccan lamb pitta with salad and sauces is on a par with the finest kebabs. Usually fairly busy at lunchtimes, would be good to see them in the new market hall to get a bit more business and some evening trade!

Let me set you a scene:It's pancake day, and me and my homeslice want some delicious pancakes on our lunch break. And after frantically searching for a place nearby that sells the flat, eggy nectar of the gods we stumble across Pitta Crepe, which comes with great reviews and is only 8 minutes away by car. We brave the chilly embrace of the wind and bundle into Sam's Honda Civic (a nice car, perfect for getting pancakes in) and made haste to Altricham town centre. Siri was being difficult, she was obviously not as keen for pancakes as me and Sam were, but nothing would stop us, not even a man with a nice coat trying to stop us in the streets to talk about some credit card or other, sorry, but if you don't have pancakes under the coat, get out of our way. Upon arrival we noticed the general public entering Gregg's and other such nearby establishments. Fools. We headed straight for the trailer and were greeted by two enthusiastic crepe makers, who amongst humour and light conversation expertly made us both a savoury and sweet pancake. Both were incredible. Fresh ingredients, good sized portions and a taste that would iron out those creases on Gordon Ramsey's humongous stupid forehead. Upon finishing our delicious pancakes we thanked the two crepe messiahs and shed a single, solid gold tear. Put it this way. I quit smoking several months ago, only partaking in the rare cigarette after either a few beers or passionate lovemaking, and after these pancakes, I had myself a cigarette. 100% sober.

What better way to celebrate pancake day with the kids than at Pitta Crepe, no washing up and perfect pancakes, thank you

I've always been meaning to try it, i must of walked past it hundreds of times and it always smelt amazing. So i gave it a go yesterday and it did not disappoint, really tasty and excellent value £4.50 for the Moroccan Lamb with loads of salad & Sauce, Chips and a Can. I enjoyed it that much i am going back again tomorrow!Highly recommend it if you are just passing and you want something quick but nice to eat, you cant go wrong!

This place is great to get a snack on the go! Though a little fiddly to eat whilst on the move, these pitta's are delicious and the staff are friendly and efficient.

I've been here plenty of times and always gravitate towards the morrocan lamb pitta, fresh and full of flavour. The excellent value meal deal is brilliant if you need a little extra to fill you up!!

The small vendor set outside near Wilksons always smells amazing when you're nearby. The menu is simple and easy to choose from. I got a Meal Deal which was a can of soft drink, some fries and the pitta with your filling. All for £4.50, so was value for money.I got the new selection they did, which was Southern Fried Chicken and it didn't disappoint. If you want a quick meal, that fills you up for lunch this is the place to go!

I have walked passed this so many times and finally tried it had the Moroccan wrap and it was delicious! Wondered why I didn't got for the large. Will defiantly be back and will be recommending it.

Food is so good wish they would expand so you could sit in! I would defiantly recommend to eat here.

The southern fried chicken savoury crepe is one of the best crepes I had - comparable to high class restaurants. We also love ordering pulled pork. Very delicious.

I am addicted to the wraps. The chicken tikka is my favorite! The meals are very cheap but the portion sizes and flavor is second to none! Absolutely love it!

Its not offensive nor amazing think the crepes could be a little thinner and bigger to make it easer to hold the fillings as it tends to be hard to eat without a fork.

It is a shame I get to Altrincham just once a year because the food at Pitta crepe is unique with the added benefit of being delicious and always getting a warm welcome.

A friend of mine recommended this eatery (cart) to me ..... I was a little sceptical but it came with the highest of recommendation so I gave it a try .... I am so glad I did, it was freakin amazing !!! The food is fresh and tasty and the service was outstanding ..... Want something a little different, then this is the place to try ..... Its AWESOME !!

Love this place. Pulled pork is my personal favourite with lashings of coleslaw and garlic mayo! However, the chicken and lamb work well too. Well priced and great food whilst on the go!

I've been a fair few times on my lunch break from the office and found that each time the service has been very quick and the food to a good standard. Makes a good change from the usual Boots meal deals!

I was pleasantly surprised when visiting Pitta Crepe for the first time by the range of different dishes to choose from and how reasonable the prices were for the high standards of the quality. Although it is not an overly extensive menu there seemed to be something to please every palate.After being torn between two fine sounding items I chose a Moroccan Lamb Wrap. When ordering it the Chef advised me that it would take 5 to 10 minutes to prepare and asked if that was ok, which was very considerate of him. He was at the same time cooking Onion Bhajis which smelt delicious. As someone who is not a lover of spicy food I asked if they were very hot. In answer to my question he gave me a free sample of one which was quite mild. I also found the Chef to be friendly and chatty.My food was ready in 8 minutes. It was very nicely and neatly presented in a white wrapper. When eating it I found that the pitta bread was soft with a slight crispness with the type of good flavour that can only be achieved when being cooked fresh as opposed to out of a pre-bought packet.The filling had a wonderful blend of subtle spices (not hot) and was very nicely balanced with the lamb which was not overly full flavoured. It was perfectly complimented by my choice of salad, as custom made by the Chef, with a tangy drizzle of mint yoghurt. There was a choice of spicy dressings also available.Without exaggeration I would have ordered another one and a portion of Bhajis had I not have been so full.The seating, which has a canopy covering, is comfortable and it is situated in a pleasant setting perfectly placed in the town centre to grab-a-bite when in rush or spend some time relaxing enjoying the first buds of the warm spring weather.I am looking forward to my next visit and trying one of the other culinary delights.

Regularly have the morrocan lamb with frys. It is a taste sensation. I have tried all the different wraps over the last year and all are fantastic. Cannot recommend the lunchtime meal deal enough. Great value, great taste, and service with a smile.

We popped by today after seeing reviews about your on Tripadvisor. Man, we were not disappointed ! The chef was really friendly and knowledgeable and the food was heavenly. I have not tried food like that since the legendary Caspian shut a decade ago in Altrincham. It was our first time, but we will d e f I n I t e l y be back and tell our friends about you guys! Way to go! Love the heaters outside too x

Such a great lunchtime treat! Used to working on the Portabello Road with a plethora of eating options at lunchtime, it's nice to have a choice again.The new Bhaji Pitta is amazing with a fantastic strong cumin seed flavour coming through. Try with hot chilli and mint yogurt.Also love the falafel pitta and have it with humous, yogurt, sweet chilli and hot chilli with all the salad. With the lovely soft and warm pitta bread, it worked a treat.

Had to try it and so happy I did! Great food! Had the 2 meat platter - pulled pork and southern fried chicken. The actually pitta was unbelievable, soft, warm and divine! Can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!

I had a falafel and hummus pitta crepe and raved about it to my partner for weeks, then dragged him there for brunch one weekend when we both had the moroccan lamb variety with mint raita. Both pitta crepes I've tried are absolutely gorgeous and so moreish. Far higher quality than most street food and I could eat here every day! Not very greasy and plenty to choose from.Pitta crepe man, will you marry me?

Try the pulled pork, rice & salad. It fills you up & is much tastier than shop bought sandwiches at lunch time.

I have become addicted to the veggie falafel pittas they serve here. Simple to make, but taste gorgeous with crispy fresh salad, tasty hummus and hot chili sauce. I keep meaning to try some other things on the menu but as the pittas are so good I just never get round to it!

Always get a Pitta Crepe at least once a month. All the family love it & fab service too! Highly recommend.

Always eat here every time I visit Altrincham and have never been disappointed! Always fresh and tasty with friendly quick service. The new addition of jerk chicken is a boon but makes choosing what to have more difficult! I urge anyone visiting the area to try it!

I visited here today to pick up a couple of lunches for my wife and I. Service was quick, damn friendly and efficient. There are plenty of choices with something for everyone. I plumped for the Piri-Piri Chicken and was given a choice of chicken, while my wife went for the BBQ pulled pork, both served of a bed of fluffy rice. We opted for the box platters, both accompanied by a generous helping of salad & coleslaw, topped off with a fat bread each. the food was hot, tasty and filling and at a fiver each, made a great change from the usual choices for lunch. If you're pasing and feeling peckish, you could do worse than pass this place by!

We always make a point of going here every time we visit altrincham, it's worth going into Alty just for this - delicious wholesome street food and great value for money - only problem Is deciding what to eat as its all lush.

One of the best places for food in Altrincham, anyone that dismisses "street food" is doing their taste buds no good at all. I'd recommend you try their pittas. My regular favourite is chicken tikka, but the new jerk chicken is very tasty too.Often get my lunch from here, just wished I worked in Altrincham every day so my lunches were always tasty and fresh.

The BBQ pulled pork pitta and the falafel pitta are my favourites, and it's very good value at £3 each. Friendly service too. Best lunch in Altrincham!

So I f you want something quick to eat in altrincham, this is the place to go to. Had a Moroccan lamb flatbread and thought it had excellent flavour and great value. Will be back.

Both times I've been, the food has been great and is really good value. There's even seating by the van so there's comfy seats to eat your takeaway. The only negative thing is it's not open 7 days a week!

Abaolutely delicious. Street food at its very best. Healthy alternative to boring every day sandwiches. Very welcoming team of staff, always ready to help. Would recommend to anyone and visit regularly.

Sampled my first delicious crepe from Pitta Crepe at the weekend at the Altrincham French Festival. I had the Nutella and banana one - very good and surprisingly filling! Will definitely be back soon for more!

It's great to see street food which is a bit different and Pitta Crepe is definitely that.Independently owned, it serves delicious hot pitta sandwiches, freshly prepared with great ingredients. Generally healthy too.The crepes are equally delicious. OK, so they're not that healthy, but if you're going to have calories, might as well make it worth while!!Perfect for food on the go - love it!

I often call by at lunch. Its looks like the sort of burger van I'd normally avoid, but the quality of products is off the scale. It has really imaginative fillings for it pitta rolls, and theres a whole lot more love gone into the operation than a Subway branch, which is perhaps the nearest mass market competitor. The Guardian lists Pitta Crepe as a reason to move to Altrincham, thats how good it is.
