Pisces Fish And Chip Shop in West Dorset

We use this place reasonably often as it’s only 2 minutes walk. I don’t eat fish but my husband says it is good. The chips are well cooked, not too oily and flabby as are so many fish shops offerings.

Well organised, hot and well prepared food. Freshly cooked and good value. The place looked very clean too. Asked to wait outside whilst order was prepared due to COVID. Mask requested too. Well done to you!

I know they are only open in the evening, at present. But they are the best fish and chip shop in Sherborne. Batter is light, fluffy and beautiful. Not a bit greasy.

Lovely food and low prices, short waiting time and next to a co-op. They also provide cold drinks such as tango and Dr Pepper, as well as sausages, cod and of course, chips.

Always had really great food from here, and they have a selection of gluten free too. They are super friendly and always happy to help.

Paul is always very welcoming and always has a laugh with me. The food is always to a high standard. The Bun Hole - The bread that he uses for the sandwiches is amazing!! Fillings are great to and at a very reasonable price. He has done our sandwches for our traning events.

Good range of meals available to take away, and don't be surprised if you get a bit of Banter, it's just one of the free services they offer! HaHaHa

Chips soggy and slightly under cooked and batter damp and soggy as welll grilled fish in a heap when takeaway not impressed!!!!!!!! Improve Your food or the customers will leave and not come back!!! I love this shop but not up to the standard.

We moved here recently, found this f & c shop 2 minutes away. Lifesaver when half the kitchens not unpacked. Good basic product, chips large portions and not too greasy They have other things on the menu but not tried them

What a find for my wife - a gluten free take away fish and chip shop while away on holiday with a separate fryer - gluten free vinegar - very clean and professional and the owner was very friendly and knew about the g/f allergy - recommend this place for g/f and 'traditional' fish and chips. Cooked from fresh inside 20 minutes and very reasonably priced. A bit out of the way though but worth it - good job we had sat nav. as we were not local.

Got some fish, chips and fish cakes on the way back from the beach a couple of days ago. No parking at the first chip shop I tried in Sherborne and I'm really pleased we visited Pisces. The food was lovely and the owner was friendly which is always an added bonus. Will definitely be visiting again.

Best fish and chips in town. Plus they deliver, for a little extra. Which is great for me as I'm disabled. Paul is always so helpful.

nasty long waits for bland over priced food, ordered at 7.15 took till 7.45 to cook order, almost walked out

I've had fish & chips here a number of times and it is consistently good. A good range of menu options to choose from but you can't go far wrong with fish and chips. Well battered, cooked for just the right amount of time and in just the right amount of grease, nice soft greasy chips and plenty of salt and vinegar (if you want). Food is ready promptly and prices are fair. Consistently good.

Tucked away in a residential area of Sherborne, close to a Co-Op grocery shop, this is a good local chippy with friendly staff and good food.

Paul who owns this establishment is always very welcoming and certainly remembers his customers. There is always some witty banter going on. The food is freshly cooked and always lovely. Great fish with a nice batter and the chips are smashing. They also do the usual oter chip shop items and have a pizza side to the business which you can order as a takeaway.

Me gustaría tener una comida para llevar aquí cada vez que visite Sherborne. Servicio amable precioso, pero lo que es más importante, el más delicioso pescado y patatas; el bacalao es cocinado en un triángulo crujiente empanada de tempura. Yo simplemente negarse a conseguir pescado y patatas fritas en Londres cuando Piscis es a mitad de precio y dos veces el sabor. Una gran relación calidad-precio!

Paul who owns the business is always ready with some banter when I go in. The food selection is excellent and they also do takeaway pizzas and deliveries.
